Took my honey out for Father's Day with the kiddos and this was our favorite Texas Restaurant to get your seafood fix! The waitress and waiters are super friendly and helpful. They had live DJ music and happy vibes. The place was totally a hidden gem. Don't judge a restaurant by its exterior design the inside was clean and a real deal. Food was bomb! Will definitely return.

Just do it!! Don't skip out on this gem! And don't come in a hurry! The shrimp, crab, and crawfish were perfectly cooked! If you love a boil, you'll love La Sirenita!!

1 pound crab legs and crab legs with shrimp

The food was perfect! We had crab legs and shrimp and the seasoning was to die for!! Great portions and we will come back!!! Excellent food!

I'm giving this place 4 stars purely because of the seafood buckets. This hit the spot perfectly for what we were looking for. We did garlic butter with medium spice both times. Did a custom bucket on the second visit. I often leave seafood buckets feeling bloated and that did NOT happen here! Incredible food experience. The service is horrible, we waited over an hour for our food the second visit. The establishment itself leaves a lot to be desired as well. Keep an eye on your tab and make sure to ask questions about what items cost, we found more than a few inconsistencies on our receipt. Ex. $5 margs on the bar menu but we were charged $17. When brought to our waiters attention he said "Oh the $5 is for the small, you got a large. I'll change the price" We didn't ask for large, and he didn't ask us what size. But since he adjusted the pricing down to $5, we didn't push it. As long as you set expectations for yourself appropriately, you can have a decent experience here.

1 of 5 Mosquitoes (on crab leg)

Mosquitoes in food. We found 5 mosquitoes in our food (see pics). They were everywhere, it was disgusting. The establishment itself was also pretty gross. We were seated by the window at first and there were all kinds of bugs crawling around the window sill and dead mosquitoes laying on their backs. It sucks because the food wasn't awful, but the mosquitoes sprinkled in it were really disgusting and we lost our appetite. My friend's seafood Alfredo was flavorless as well, it was just "creamy" and oily, absolutely no seasoning existed in that dish - do not recommend. Would never return. If you go here please check your food for bugs or mosquitoes.

Great boil, great service, & awesome skinny margs. The shrimp, legs & sauce was on! We craved a sweet treat so the choco cake and margs were perfect!

During crawfish season this spot is known to be one of the best in the area. I came in last night to order the seafood trio to go. Tables were spraced, masks required signs were posted, star was friendly and working hard. The are right off of Surfside Beach and specialize in seafood, they have a bar, and sometimes do drink specials. Also often times they will have a live band or a DJ playing music at the night time however it is very family friendly. The food is pretty good as I mentioned above but it is a little pricey hence the reason I'm not giving 5 stars. The trio comes with half a pound of crab, half a pound of shrimp, and half a pound of sausage, one corn and one potato. I added a other half pound of shrimp for $10.

Went again today. Nice to have Brianna as our server again. Food again was Delicious! The only negative part I have is the place needs updating especially the ceiling needs to be replaced and too many flies in the restaurant

Great food, GREAT service! The best food you will eat in Texas! If u like seafood, come here!

Great variety of food close to the beach in Surfside! Seafood and other options that make it great for quick food!

Their patio and views were amazing and so relaxing. The cutest restaurant indoor/outdoor. We also had our dog which they accommodated with some water. Our greeting when we came in was not the most friendly, woman behind the bar didn't even smile and mumbled something that I assume was our greeting. Our server, though nice, seemed very new and inexperienced. But she seemed to be nervously trying to do a good jobl My drink order never was what I ordered. I think there was confusion with the server and woman behind the bar. Our server didn't seem old enough to serve it to me, it was broght over by bar tender. It was pricey for not ever really getting what I requested. The day we were there, they had one of the garage doors open and the front door as well. It was so cold in there, we almost left to go elsewhere as I suspected the food would be cold before it got to the table to be eaten. After our 2nd request, they finally closed the one garage door,, but was still a bit chilly. Then they told us they just put the heater on. (the heater helped but have entry door open to bring food in from food trailer) We didn't realize the food was made in an outside trailer and walked inside. I got the crawfish tail ? Ettofee baked potato ? Ettofee sp?. Although The potato was well baked, and the sauce was Very good, there was only 4 or 5 very small crawfish tails on it. I ended up taking it home with me as it just wouldn't stay warm enough for me to eat more of it. I wish they would of had some type of thermal box, or cover to bring the food in from the outside trailer to the table... My husband had a mushroom swiss burger which was good, and some really delicious flat shaped fries, but again, keeping our food warm enough to eat it was not the best situation. There were some really good looking things on the menu, but it was just too cold in there that day. During nice weather, I'm sure our experience would have been much better, as it seems like a really nice place with a very nice patio with great view.

We waited for 20 minutes and none of the servers even made eye contact with us, let alone take our orders. Still didn't have menus at this point. We watched the servers take care of the tables next to us during that time, but they didn't approach us. Eventually, I just held my hand up to see if they would get the cue to come to the table. They continued to pretend like they didn't see us. We just got up and walked out at that point. I yelled "Thanks for the great service", and they just gave "have a nice night" as if nothing happened. No attempt to console us. Total lack of respect and decency. They pick favorites out of their customers and ignore you if they don't like how you look. Don't waste your money on that shithole. Also, there are serious racism vibes. I would not feel safe there if I were a person of color.

The first level of the establishment is right on the water. It is very very casual. One guy showed up in swim trunks, a cowboy hat, no shirt, and no shoes. The area is open, so there is no AC in that part of the bar. They have large fans to cool the area, but I was still hot. They have large round picnic tables, high bistro type tables, and a bar seating area. The bistro tables have very uncomfortable chairs. They are those small metal stackable chairs. Some have backs and others have no backs. Even the tiniest butts would not find those seats comfortable. I stood for the majority of the time. Dollar bills are stapled to the wall and ceiling from previous customers each with a saying, a name, and/or the date. They have one unisex restroom downstairs. There was a line each time I needed to go. The crowd seemed to be locals and people who work there and recently got off their shift. I think that is pretty common in these type beach bars. The energy was happy and everyone was nice. They play great music. During our stay, I heard Elvis (twice!), ABBA, Willie Nelson, other 70's artists, and some country. They also have live music. We left before the set started because we had to get home to Houston. The service was good. Our waitress was very attentive. We had the ceviche and shrimp Jammers to split. The Jammers are fried with gooey goodness inside. 5 Jammers to an order. They are really good, so I highly recommend those. The ceviche was refreshing. It came with tortilla chips and a large slice of avocado. They have very good drinks, plus whatever you might like bottled. The two of us each had two drinks. Our drinks and food totaled to $56.00 before tip. Good place to visit. Can't do anything about the heat, but it would be nice if they changed their seating.
