Don't waste your time or money at this restaurant. All of the staff is extremely Rude. I gave this place a couple of chances because of the location. I ate here year's ago and the waiter who no longer works there Fernando was friendly and service was outstanding that was a while back. I tried it twice this vacation and the entire staff was cold as well as the food small portions now. The waiter told me that if I wanted something that I should go looking for him. Absolutely delicious! I couldn't ask for a better casual lunch spot on the marina if I tried! The tacos and quesadillas here are PERFECTION. This was the first place we stopped at for lunch upon arriving in Cabo, as well as the last, with a few visits in between as well! There really is very few other spots that can beat this place in my eyes with its combination of location, value, and quality! Its location is perfect - right on the marina, with an outdoor seating area that overlooks the water. It was very relaxing and picturesque. Our first day there, the service was a little bit slow, but the prices and the food more than made up for that. They were also very fast on our last day, when we stopped to grab some tacos before leaving for our flight and told them that we were in a bit of a rush. The servers are very friendly and helpful! Now on to my favorite part about this place - the food!! The tacos here are utter perfection. I probably tried every type that they have over the course of my stay, and I absolutely loved all of them. The coconut shrimp was probably one of my favorites. Crunchy, creamy, delicious! I also loved the chile relleno here, and the quesadillas are very cheesy and filling as well! We really couldn't get enough of this place. The food is also very reasonably priced and affordable - never spent over $15USD, even when getting multiple quesadillas and tacos. Tacos & Beer was by far one of my favorite food spots in Cabo, and I will definitely be using them again the next time that I go. So, so good. Simple, easy, fresh, inexpensive, and most importantly, delicious! I had 3 tacos in corn tortillas: the barbacoa, the coconut shrimp, and the fried fish -- each was better than the last, and the salsas were fantastic. I also had some chips and guacamole and some grilled fish out of my daughter's taco, and both were similarly delicious. I rounded out my meal with a chocolate-filled churro (PSA: the churro stand and seating across the walkway is part of the same place), and left happily full. Fish tacos and a coconut shrimp quesadilla - which was recommended by the waitress. Tasted almost Hawaiian with the coconut and sweet sauce. The fish tacos were AMAZING. I recommend them 100%. Great prices and comes with a tray of 3 sauces to choose from. The only disappointment was my piña colada, which had cinnamon on it and wasn't very sweet. Just returned from a stay in Cabo, and honestly, this was one of the least expensive AND best meals I had the entire time. My friend and I got a pastor quesadilla to share, and then she ordered both a shrimp taco and a fish taco, while I just got a fish taco. The pastor was ah-ma-zing! The server recommended it, and it seriously delivered. Strangely, my friend's fish taco came with a sweet mango sauce, but mine came with some sort of chipotle sauce that rendered it too spicy for me to eat. They were really nice about it and remade it, but I don't know which sauce is standard for them to serve on it. My friend also liked her shrimp taco. There was a man running a churro cart right by the marina seating and we were able to order churros from him and have them added to the bill. You get to choose a sauce (chocolate, caramel, strawberry, or vanilla) and he fills a cavity in the churro with it. So good. read more

This is the place to go for a cheaper, delicious marina meal! We only had an hour before we needed to get on a tour boat, and this was perfect. The food was great (we got tacos and a quesadilla, the meats were all perfect and overall it was delicious). They have a nice restroom for customers (a plus, anywhere in Cabo). The service was a bit slow/Laid back, but quick enough that we still had lots of time to roam around before our boat tour, and the servers were very sweet.
