They added the bread in automatically so it was soggy by the time I ate it yuck. The tuna melt was just okay. The employee that assisted me with my order was very friendly and helpful. They were 30 mins away from closing so the place was pretty empty. But there is ample seating and a bathroom. read more

Came in for a quick pick up and quick it was! The girl at the counter was extremely kind and helpful, letting me know that there was more in the back of there was something I was looking for and didn't have up in the display. I had picked up a few items for someone who absolutely loves croissants [chocolate almond, almond, raisin, fruit tart and some chocolate/white chocolate cake] and all of it was such a hit. I stopped by this place after my facial. I'm always down for a French Bakery, since Paris is my favorite place to visit. Upon walking in it's a very busy place, fresh bread is visible behind the counter and service is pretty quick. Several people were ready to help. Most people opted for the baked goods and sandwiches. I visited here back when I was in high school and felt like visiting again recently because I was craving french cafe vibes. We tried lots of different foods including the chocolate ganache cake, a pear tart that I believe is called pear bourdaloue, croque monsieur, ham quiche, provençal salad, spinach salad, iced mocha, and an iced milky way. In terms of quality of food, it was on par with most cafes. The quiches were nice and filled my body with warmth as I took my first bites. Out of all the foods we tried, I'd recommend the croque monsieur and the iced mocha! My cousin had the iced milky way and rated it a 10/10. The waiters were also very friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to order. One downside of this place is it pretty cramped as it is a small cafe, but I think that just adds to the aesthetic and I didn't really mind. I also wish the drinks didn't come with so much ice, I drink my beverages pretty slowly but even I finished mine very quickly. I wonder if you can ask for less ice in your drinks? This is a Rice Village staple and lots of retired people come here weekday mornings. I came here with a friend and got the almond chocolate croissant which was almost $6 after tax (is this the normal price these days?). The croissant did not taste very fresh and was a bit too sweet for my taste. The cashier/worker was also not the friendliest. My friend and I came here for a coffee and cake lunch. The cakes were super delicious and soft, and not too overpowering. The coffee on the other hand taste very weak and watery. Maybe we came on a bad day. Other ladies at the desk were helpful and quick. The café was busy at this time so it was kinda hard to hear the staff. There was a lot of people here working on their laptops or studying. The tables and chairs are decent their waiter was constantly cleaning because it was super busy. Some of the chairs are a little bit wobbly, but that's fine. They do have an outdoor tables and chairs area if you want to bring your dog. There is street parking or parking lots paid by meter.
