My husband and I stopped in to try out the new cafe. He ordered a SF caramel latte and I got a SF iced vanilla latte. Both were absolutely delicious. Coffee is a great quality and for both it was around $14 They offer some food options. From waffles to açaí bowls and some pastries. The prices were very good. For example, a croissant is $1.50 and as we all know, other cafes would easily charge $5 Best part of our experience was the friendly service. The girl at the register noticed my tshirt had Freddy Krueger on it and we had a good time chatting about our favorite scary movies and giving recommendations. White mocha, it was good, this is my go to order, the peanut butter with bananas and blueberries was really good. Nice clean establishment with ample seating especially considering the size. They did not have a restroom which I thought was odd but maybe it's a Cali thing, considering I'm consuming food at an establishment I'd expect to be able to wash my hands. read more

This is such a cute cafe! The parking situation is very easy. Their hours are actually pretty long for a cafe (7am-7pm). There were only a couple small tables. They have a small bakery display case. The price for the baked goods seemed reasonable. There were conchas and macarons. We ordered the strawberry matcha with oat milk and the mango matcha with regular milk. Presentation was very cute. The drink needs to be stirred before consuming since all of the syrup is at the bottom. Both matcha drinks were very strong and earthy. The strawberry matcha was the stronger of the two. That's possibly due to the oat milk substitution. They have some interesting coffee drinks so I'd like to come back and try something else like the açaí bowls or the coffee! read more

I came here for the acai bowl. I like how I was able to substitute nutella instead of honey on top. I was caught off guard though because I was not expecting the acai to be frozen. Needed a spot for a quick matcha and snack while driving down I-80. Ladies inside were extremely happy and had great service. I ordered a Mango Matcha 20ox and OG AcAi bowl and added chocolate on top. While the lady was making the Açaí bowl I noticed they had coconut flakes and she was nice enough to add them right then and there. The bowl was great, fruit was fresh and açaí base was sweet but not too sweet. The Matcha unfortunately I did not finish. The mango syrup or what they put for mango lacked any flavor. The matcha was just ok but overall it was really bland. I wanted to like it because it looked great but lacked flavor and had to toss half way. I think if the mango would've stood out it would have been much flavor. Would still come again to give other things a try though! read more

So happy to have La Terraza Cafe open in my neighborhood recently! I stopped in late morning Saturday and they were busy! Word must be getting out about how yummy their açaí bowls are! I had a bowl with a side of peanut butter toast and my boyfriend had one of their three waffle styles. The fruit was very fresh and the bowls are a good size for the price. They also have cafe drinks and plant based milk options which is awesome for vegans like myself. I definitely recommend trying La Terraza! I will be a regular for sure! read more

I really wanted to give this place at least 4 stars but I have to base it off my experience. Today was hot and my go to place for a strawberry matcha was closed because the electricity was out. I remembered seeing this place so thought I'd give it a try. As I pulled up the doors were wide open and I saw one of the girls look at me as I walked in. Nobody else was there but me and well they were talking for a few minutes before someone actually came out to take my order. She did say "sorry for the wait" ok that's fine. So it has a cute interior but it was warm out and no A/C so ok I get it leave the doors open but after waiting for my order, I started getting a little sweaty waiting. I ordered my strawberry matcha which the positive was they use what seems like a fresh strawberry homemade purée so it isn't as sweet as some. They also put a lot of matcha in the drink, which is good but did leave it a little more bitter because the puree is not as sweet. I also got a croissant which wasn't fresh but tasted a day old or so. Can't complain I guess since it was $1.50 and other places are like $3-5 each. I'll def give it another shot and try some of the other item so I can hopefully raise my rating. I love to support family owned businesses so we will see how that visit goes. read more

I saw there was a new coffee shop in Vacaville recently so I decided to try it. The first time I went I didn't order any food I just ordered the iced Spanish latte. While I was waiting I could smell the waffles and it made me regret not ordering any lol. I really liked the Spanish latte and the customer service was really good too. I've only been inside that one time, but I sent my husband there twice to get me coffee and both times we tried the waffle and açaí bowl. Everything we tried tasted good and my husband also said the customer service was good and that everyone was friendly. They said they are a family owned business, which is a nice break from all the chain restaurants/corporations in Vacaville. We will definitely be back here! read more

Visited today with my family and we loved our drinks. We got a SF vanilla oat milk latte, iced matcha, and iced mocha. My latte was yummy, the espresso didn't taste burnt and it wasn't overly sweet. The mocha was good. And my mom loved her matcha, it was on the sweeter side so get 1/2 sweet if you prefer that. The cafe was quiet in the middle of the day with a decent amount of seating and a cute photo wall. They also have energy drinks to purchase in a can, and food as well which we didn't try this time. Great stop off the freeway! They didn't have ice tea on the menu but quickly brewed hot tea and made one for me. My wife got the strawberry matcha with vanilla cold foam and she loved it! I've been wanting to get myself here to La Terraza Café for a month now and this past week, I've been here three times already, every other day, since I'm enjoying the food, service and clean ambiance so much. I started Tuesday with the Tio Juan waffle and it was fruit filled and so delish! I paired that with their unique Spanish latte which has condensed milk for sweetener and cinnamon added to your milk choice and espresso. I customized both to a reduced sugar content and they both still tasted great. Thursday I tried the regular matcha, but requested condensed milk instead of agave or honey and opted for almond milk. Smooth and tasty! Saturday I tried their berry toast with almond butter instead of peanut butter. You get your choice of wheat or buttermilk toast, which Karen described to me and the buttermilk toast sounded good enough to try. Amazing!! While dining in, Karen even checked on me to see if I liked the toast, so I'm lovin' how much intentional care is given to customers. This time I paired it with a raspberry matcha and requested less ice to taste the match more and Karen obliged. Even on Tuesday, Fatima checked on me about my Spanish latte since I had customized the drink to my preference. The service here has been consistently outstanding and food for me has been excellent as well, time and again. I also like that it's a family owned small business. So many wins here. Today was my first time coming in here and all I can say is I will definitely be back. I ordered the waffle tio Juan waffle plate and the caramel latte and it was a 10/10. The fruit was fresh, waffles were fluffy and crispy, the coffee was very rich and strong ( unlike other coffee places where the coffee tastes watered down and not rich ) They play good music and the establishment is very clean and well put together. We walked in and got our order taken care of. We ordered matcha's, and acai bowl, and a waffle. The Matcha's were really good but it's the acai bowl and waffle. The waffle was super soggy and taste like a microwave taste, drenched in chocolate syrup, the ice cream was hard and frozen and just too much was going on. The acai bowl had beautiful presentation but the acai was very frozen, the fruit itself is good but i couldnt even grab the acai with my spoon.
