We wanted to try the Tomahawk but it wasn't on the menu so we decided to do steak on another day. To drink we ordered the apple cider. The cider was delicious and very crispy like I was eating a Cortland apple. We were served crispy bread with herb butter. The bread was crispy like toast and the butter was soft. It came with a small jar of baby dill pickles. They had a good crunch! We started with the lobster bisque. This bisque was very tasty. We could taste the lobster and it was very light; not a heavy or overly creamy soup. Pooh ordered the seafood risotto and I took the Dijon chicken. Both dishes were amazing. Pooh really enjoyed his risotto. He likes the addition of zucchini to give it a little crunch . The seafood was cooked to perfection. My chicken was super tender. I could taste the Dijon mustard. The mashed potatoes were smooth and the green beans were crispy and cooked perfectly. Our server was very polite and checked on us regularly. He apologized for not getting the wine when our meal arrived. Our only complaint was the wine. Usually the wine arrives right before the meal but our meal arrived first and we ate slowly as we waited for the wine to come. The wine arrived five minutes later and the server explained that it wasn't cold enough to give us. By the time I finished eating (because we had to wait for the wine) my potatoes were cold. We finished our evening with dessert. I had the lemon-in-a-jar and Pooh had the Crème brûlée. Pooh's crème brûlée was perfect. My lemon dessert was too sweet. The tartness of the lemon was overpowered by the sweetness of the almond crumble We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent but they need to put the white wine in a cooler sooner.

I order a salmon meal. The salmon was tasteless but thankfully the sauce helped it. The mocktail was good. They had quite good amount of people there on a Sunday but definitely had open tables if I wanted to sit at a two seater but they suggested I go to the bar which is huge, but no one else was sitting there. Overall an okay spot, nice inside, my one dish was mediocre but not sure what the other dishes taste like.

I ordered: - the XL potatoes: a large serving of roasted potatoes with aioli and salty cheese. Carb heaven! - the pastek salad: cubes of watermelon with shaved raw brussel sprouts, almonds, and some sort of crumbled sheep cheese. Great concept but I would prefer if the brussel sprouts were roasted - raw brusssels are meh especially in off season - rhubarb meringue: stewed rhubarb with airy rhubarb foam and crispy sumac meringue shards. Super light for summer, and the sumac was an interesting twist! I did not have any wine at the wine bar (wasn't feeling it) so I can't speak to that aspect haha. Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating - limited street parking nearby, but walkable

That seems to be a main attraction to patrons, although the food should not be ignored. We went there for brunch on a Saturday, which is typically very difficult to maneuver without reservations. But thanks to the pouring rain, we got seated right away. The menu is well designed, and many attractive dishes were presented. We selected the burrata, crostini, XL potato, and an extra bread. The food came fairly fast in beautiful plates, and was pretty good! The tender tomatoes were well selected, and mixed perfectly with the creamy burrata on the generously toasted (but not tough!) bread. The addition of peaches was a very nice burst of flavour. The potatoes were full of umami and quite complex in their richness. The crostini was perhaps a bit less interesting, but still good. The hot peppers were pretty sharp! Overall, the dainty portions were a bit smaller than expected, although it is justified for that section of the menu. The service was courteous. Really pretty place!

Saw the add of Facebook and decided to go try it out as there are not a lot of good options in the South Shore. Very extensive wine list with pricing from low $60s to $$$ so you can choose according to your budget. The menu is also pretty light but with a good selection. We were 2 people and went with an entree of scallop and Crudo. Main we shared the lobster cavatellis. Oh boy the food came to the table and fabulous presentation. The taste was also amazing...especially the crudo dish...that sauce was to die for. The lobster cavatellis was also amazing...the pasta was still a bit al dente just as it should be and the sauce was so yummy...we almost licked the plate clean! Desserts were also pretty good. I preferred the strawberry one over the panacota. Did I also mention the decor was modern and classy? It's definitely a place you can bring a date or customers for business lunch or dinner. The crowd was a bit older which is normal because the ambiance is more quiet and pricing is higher than a normal bar. Would a 100% go back there very soon to try more of their wine and food.

My husband and I walked in on a Friday night and while it was busy, we were still able to get a table. We were warmly greeted, and they inquired if we were there for a table/bar seating, or the retail shop. We sat at the bar, and there were other customers at tables enjoying a glass and engrossed in conversation. They offer a small snack menu, along with a selection of wines, and they have a good knowledge and will provide counsel on the options. We ordered the ricotta toast and the lonzo, a ham similar to prosciutto. Both were delicious! The lonzo comes with a drizzle of quality olive oil on top, and a sprinkle of salt, and a dab of mustard. The ricotta toast (no pic sorry) was also tasty. The space leans to industrial loft, but is warm and invites conversations and relaxation. The shop also has a retail space, and a monthly wine club subscription is an option. It is separated from the restaurant, but not a quirk of their shop, but archaic Vermont liquor laws. We decide to subscribe and picked up our first selections to take home.
