They sell two yellow sauces here: Ají Amarillo Sauce and Salsa a la Huancaina. Not all Peruvian restaurants make them, and I will not go to a Peruvian restaurant unless they do. This restaurant gives complimentary green and yellow sauces with each meal, and they also sell the sauces separately in 8 oz.containers for $5 each. I buy them every few weeks to dip homemade chicken and fish in. On 6/14/26, I ordered the Parihuela (seafood stew) and a can of club soda with a splash of chichi morada for Sunday brunch. Luci served me. The seafood was frozen (see photos of the imitation crab and the calamari rings). Luci explained that it is only on Fridays that the restaurant serves fresh seafood and sometimes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Why do I have to come on certain days to get fresh seafood? It was not worth the $29 price tag because I could have gone to the supermarket and purchased a bag of frozen seafood for $10. The only positives about my experience here is the tasty complimentary yellow sauce, the excellent customer service, and the festive interior design.
