She also worked with another manager at the store and was able to set up my next appointment with a specific tech - I believe it was Emily. Tiffany was very communicative via both text and DM on there Instagram account, which I used to schedule my next appointment. She was also there when I arrived for that appointment to ensure things went smoothly. Emily was very attentive during my service, and ultimately I was happy with this set. I did SNS and Emily finished with a gel top coat. Since I prefer to not have gel that is cured by UV, I may not return regularly. However, this salon has a huge selection of not only regular colors, but specialty colors as well, such as cat eye and jelly polishes. Jelly polishes are definitely on my list to try in the future, so I'll likely be back for that. I very much appreciate the team's outreach and support after my last review, and it's clear that they care greatly for the service they can provide their customers.

Proper prep affects how the nails look, adhere, and last, and I was not comfortable having Gel-X applied to an unprepped nail bed, so I stopped the service. They also charge extra for gel polish, and even though I brought my own, there was no adjustment in price. I was already paying for an expensive pedicure with builder gel and gel polish, so the lack of flexibility over something as basic as cuticle prep felt excessive. I would not recommend this salon to someone who regularly gets their nails done and is willing to pay for quality service. I have no problem paying for my nails, but I do have a problem being charged extra for necessary parts of the service.
