    Risotto Primavera

Lovely experience. The service from Shelia was excellent as well as the menu items we chose. The EggPlant Parm and the Risotto Primavera was very much enjoyed. The decor was lovely and overall, a wonderful dine was had.

La Zingara is a cute little restaurant with plenty of lot parking. It is wheelchair friendly as long as someone holds the two entry doors open for you. Early dinners are best as the restaurant started to fill up about 6:30. There is also little bar inside and locals seem to enjoy sitting and the bar area and talk. There are mostly four top tables and a few booth seating areas. The service was excellent. I ordered the Branzino special and mozzarella stuffed zucchini. Both were served hot. The appetizer was cooked well and flavorful with delicious oozy gooey mozzarella inside of the zucchini wheels. The branzino aka sea bass was perfectly cooked served with skinside down. The fish had a few tiny bones which is to be expected. The skin should have been a bit crisper and the fish needed a little more seasoning but still very good. My husband had the cheese pizza which he liked. The Aperol spritz I ordered was excellent. The prices are good and less than I have paid for sea bass at other restaurants. We will return to try the pasta dishes. This was a nice restaurant with a welcoming staff.

Cozy and quaint family restaurant that provides homey Italian food. We got the mussels and calamari to starts. Both appetizers were good. Mussels were smalls and over steamed. My husband got the lasagna. It was saucy with plenty of meat but overly salty. I got the saltimboco alla roma. I enjoyed the prosciutto and the mashed potatoes in my dish. Our server was great. Friendly and professional.

First timer here. We came for a birthday party about 20 people. They accommodated our party in the main dining area. It looked like they also have a private party area which was in use. They start you off with some rolls on the house with oil and parmesan. Then I order an old fashion. It was strong just how I like it. Then we ordered calamari. The calamari had a thin layer of batter which was great, the squid was cooked just right. Then I order the Lasagna and it came with minestrone soup. The soup was delicious. Lasagna came in a good portion. The meat sauce was delicious but was little salty. I took some home and ate it the next day and it tasted pretty good definitely not as salty. Then I tried Ravioli Di Aragosta. That was definitely the best thing I had. House made ravioli filled with lobster and topped with shrimp. The sauce was epic. Highly recommend this dish. I definitely could have ate another plate ! Over all great place definitely would be back.

Not good. Tried this place with the husband/family. Very disappointed. Very dated look. My husband remarked that it looked like a retirement community. The service was rather slow. Ordered the fusilli, which was ok but kinda doughy and super bland. Had to put tons of salt to it. Husband ordered the chicken alfredo- also very bland and difficult to eat. Another person in our party ordered the gluten free pasta which also had no flavor. The caesar salad was rather underwhelming and unsavory. Rather expensive also - almost $100 for 3 unflavorful meals. it was disappointing that they also do a completely electronic charge to the card and they calculate tip with tax included - we don't tip on tax. Not cool. Both me and my husband felt rather unwell too after our meals. Definitely will not go back. Dont like to give poor reviews but for the significant cost, poor meals, and feeling ugh afterwards definitely did not enjoy or recommend.

One of the few places in the suburbs offering igloo/greenhouse outdoor dining option. I honestly liked this better than the restaurant I went to in downtown Chicago for the greenhouse dining experience. It was much warmer at La Zingara Trattoria's greenhouse and cozier. Our service was excellent, and the food great as well! We shared a bottle of pinot noir and a shrimp appetizer. The shrimp appetizer was tiny - there were 4 pieces. Tasty, but tiny. We all ordered the same entree as recommended by the waiter - the salmon. The salmon was very delicious and cooked flavorfully. We had a tiramisu for dessert, which was rich and delectable. I would definitely recommend this place, especially now as the outdoor dining options in the cold are limited. Great hidden gem in the suburbs with amazing Italian food and service!

So it was off our list for a while. We've now started eating at the bar, which gets us away from much of the noise, and the food and service are still excellent. Today two of us came for lunch; our server Clarissa was very attentive to my guest's need for a gluten-free meal, and also cheerfully got the pounding music turned down so we could hear each other talk. If only there was a way to address the noise issue overall, I would be happy to give this place five stars...!

It seemed like they had it made due to beating their top selling plate. The chicken had a rubbery feeling, for sure did not meet the hype. We ordered it and it was served very fast. In the other hand, their "Pesto Cavatappi" was served warmed and you could tell it was just made. The chicken on this dish tasted very good and the texture was very different from the Chicken Parm. I would recommend this dish instead of their number one as it was told to us by the server. We ordered two cappuccinos and their Flourless Chocolate Cake. Both cappuccinos were very milky and not warm enough. The dessert was really good but it also took a while to get it. We were half way done with our cappuccinos. Price - I feel they are priced too high for a chicken dish and pasta. Although it is a good portion it is still chicken and pasta. It was $31 for the chicken parm and $26 for the Cavatappi. The dessert was $12 It was a busy day but they should still keep their standards and serve food with the right temperature. I will give it another change for sure.

First point the waitress was very nice. First came The bread which was very good, then we ordered the mussels, average garlic sauce awful mussels, way too small And overcooked! You could barely see the mussels inside the shells. I ordered a Braciole and my wife ordered Veal Saltimbocca. We waited about 45 minutes for the food to come, my braciole was flavorless the stuffing didn't taste like anything the meat was tough and tasted boiled, the risotto underneath was Ok, only ate about 1/3 of the braciole, it truly awful. My wife's veal was inedible, very very tough, she couldn't barely cut it! The prosciutto on it was thick and overcooked, disgusting! We told the waitress who was sympathetic, said she would send the manager we never saw him instead she offered free dessert. Moral of the story! We left most of the food on the plates as it was inedible, worse $132.00 I have ever spent, we will not be back, I wouldn't feed that food to a dog!

We were so happy with our lunch experience. The food was better than other Italian restaurants we have ate at. Service was great. Full disclosure. It was a Saturday late lunch and the place was basically empty. Our server started us off with a small loaf of warm Italian bread. Dipping sauce was olive oil with spices and tomatoes. It was heavenly! My husband ordered the Vodka Rigatoni with small asparagus pieces. He said it was better tasting than my homemade Vodka Rigatoni! And he was right! I ordered the Eggplant Salad. What a showstopper it is! It tasted as good as.it looked. The fried eggplant was sliced thin, breaded and fried. The salad included mixed greens, mozzarella slices and tomatoes. Their prices are very reasonable. I urge everyone to go to Trezeros.

Came here for dinner twice in one week and I don't have enough good things to say!…read more Food: We had the Caesar salad, Four cheese ravioli and rigatoni vodka. First off the portion size are very generous- one entree is large enough for 2 people for hard and in this day and age I truly commend the restaurant for doing this, it was noticed and def appreciated. The Caesar salad is truly such a classic salad, the oil dressing and grated cheese on top is perfectly balanced, it felt refreshing yet very savory as well. The rigatoni pasta was so so yummy. The orange sauce was very hearty. Last but not least the 4 cheese ravioli was W-O-W. I mean the consistency of the sauce just blew me away, and the pistachio pesto?! Genius. It was soo good I had to not lick the sauce off the plate (might still do for take out nights). Cant wait to come back and try more dishes! Service- Both times we made revelations on open table. We were seated very quickly. The waiters were very polite, gave great suggestions. Extra point for when we told them we were sharing, they made sure the dish was split onto two plates. Again, the effort and attention was really noticed and very admirable. Ambiance- It may be a chain but this place has such a classic Italian feel. From the decor the colors and even choices on the menu, very well thought out. The place is renovated and very clean and over ambiance is romantic. It def has more of an adult restaurant feel, as it's quite classy. Don't wait noisy kids to ruin the vibes. Great place for date night, girls night out, anniversary party etc. You guys blew me away. Can't wait to come back!

Despite having a reservation confirmed three weeks in advance and receiving a confirmation call that same morning, our party was not seated until 4:30 PM for a 4:00 PM booking. My husband and I checked in with the host starting at 3:55 PM, only to receive vague, dismissive responses like 'we're working on it.' Worse, the host displayed an unprofessional attitude, stating 'I have already told you in a few minutes' and was seen talking to other hosts about how upset our group was. When I finally spoke with a manager, Don M., his response was unsettling. Rather than apologizing for the 30-minute delay, he simply told me 'I am not kicking you out,' which felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive for a milestone celebration. After we were seated, Don M. never returned to check on us or acknowledge the delay. Fortunately, Assistant Manager Luis Martinez and our servers, Marco and Georgina, completely saved the day. Luis came to our table to check on us personally, and Marco and Georgina were excellent, accommodating our large group's orders perfectly. If it weren't for their professional care, I would not return to this location." I truly hope that you consider looking into this matter as I have seen and witnessed how rude and unprofessional the host was yesterday not only to our party but to other guests checking in. It was a busy day for graduation parties and I just hope that they were all treated right. " Our Purpose is to bring people together to celebrate the love of family and friends", which is the main goal of this restaurant which I truly hope that you stand by with".
