We went back today and everything was delicious. The Napoleon Salad is amazing. Their pizza is also good. #iraeats #iraeats1

we had a really great experience here! i've seen this place recommended on the local pages and had to come check it out for mother's day. ambiance is really nice! casual but fancy and food presentation was perfect for mother's day ! the staff is friendly but service was a little slow. -goat cheese appetizer was so good! the garlic bread that accompanied it was one of our favorites -eggplant salad was my most favorite dish! the flavor was spot on with crunchy coated eggplant and the sweet glaze of the the dressing. i would get this again -chicken parmesan was my least favorite. the flavor was not great and the cut of chicken was a little fatty -grilled seafood appetizer was really good -pecan halibut was good, not amazing but the mashed potato that accompanied it was excellent! i will definitely come back to try the other items out! great place to dine for a "fancier" outing on mt prospect!

We started with a cocktail. They give you a generous drink; see photo. Then, we decided on appetizers. I chose the "Colossal Meatball" Marinara Sauce shavings of Parm. My friend ordered "Stracciatella Cheese Dip," made with mozzarella cheese, balsamic, honey, and olive oil, with toast points drizzled with olive oil and shredded parmesan. They were both delicious. For the entrees, I ordered the Chicken Parm Sandwich on soft and chewy warm Italian Bread with crispy fries; it could have been a little thicker. My friend ordered the Steak Sandwich on warm Italian Bread; she gave me a taste, and I thought it was perfect. For dessert, we shared an Apple Crisp with Ice Cream drizzled with Caramel Sauce; it was too much for one person, so it was best shared. I ordered the tiramisu, which was very good and smooth.

Trezeros is the best upper-end restaurant in Mount Prospect. Locally owned. We have never had a disappointing meal inside or carry out. We like the weekly specials. Bottom line if you live in the NW suburbs, Trezeros will not disappoint.

    Crab al fresco

I ate at Trezeros for the first time today, and all I can say is YUM!! I ordered the crab al fresco off the specials list, and it was delicious (I would have liked a bit more crab, though). Our server suggested the Christmas cookie gelato for dessert, so I decided to give it a try. It was magical! The gelato was super creamy and the flavor was perfect. The atmosphere was nice, too. My party of 7 was in the smaller room, and although there were a couple of other tables in the area, they were spaced well and I heard no sound from the other parties. Our server was pleasant and patient. A couple of other people in my party said their meals were too salty, but my crab dish was perfect. I would definitely like to return sometime!

We had reservations for 9pm and were able to be seated straight away. We arrived to find the address brought us to a barber shop. Fortunately, my husband had done some research and knew the drill--we made our way to a organ against a brick looking wall. On top of the organ was a bell--we rang the bell and shortly after the brick wall swung open and a woman came out to greet us. She had us play a tune on the organ and then brought us back into the speakeasy. The vibes are pitch perfect. Dimly lit with candles on tables and artful films playing on screens. We loved it. We were greeted straight away and brought water. You can also get a full meal here which we did not know but noted for our next visit. They had a special Valentine's menu as well as their regular cocktail menu. For my first cocktail, I got the paper plane which was light, lemony, and lovely with the adorable touch of a small paper plane pinned to the cocktail with a clothespin. For my second, I got one of their Valentine's specials which was essentially a Boulevardier made with a small float of mezcal on top. What an amazing addition to this classic cocktail! Truly, gave it added dimension, depth, and smoky flavor. I loved it. We also enjoyed their Valentine's dessert special, which was princess cake. It was a lovely blend of tart raspberry and warm almond--we loved it! The service was lovely throughout our experience. Get to it!

We were able to snag a back table so not loud and we can hear the whole table. We started with the Hearts of Palm salad to share. It was perfect to share with three people as a starter and we all loved the lemon vinaigrette. For entrees - I got the thin crust Garden Pizza special - artichokes, pesto, pine nuts, other veggies. I thought it was delicious and it reheated very nicely the next day. Others at the table - got the salmon, sausage pizza and spicy vodka pasta. Everyone enjoyed. Our server (AJ) was fabulous and joked with the table - he made the experience enjoyable as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. While we're not in Arlington Heights often, it is a place I would recommend.

The evening began with the sort of optimism that has historically led men into bankruptcy, war, and…read moresecond marriages. The hostess appeared wearing a blue-and-white striped sweater hanging off one shoulder like she'd stepped out of an Italian perfume commercial. Around her neck was one of those little cornicello pepper necklaces, dangling just enough to suggest fate had finally decided to throw me a bone. Blue eyes. Not "blue." The kind of blue sailors used to abandon families over. She laughed at one of my jokes. That was all the encouragement my diseased brain required. I immediately conducted a full tactical assessment of the restaurant. The P.O.A. Index... ...was approaching DEFCON 1. Every direction I looked was another devastatingly attractive waitress carrying Aperol Spritzes with effortless confidence. It was like wandering into a government-funded supermodel relocation program. Then... A shadow fell across the table. A man. Our waiter was a man. Christ Almighty. The emotional whiplash nearly snapped my neck. It's like going to the zoo hoping to see lions and discovering the enclosure has been replaced with an accountant named Kevin. There are beautiful women everywhere, and somehow I'm discussing pasta recommendations with a guy who probably knows three different olive oils by taste. Cruel. Absolutely cruel. To his credit, the b@5tard was outstanding. Friendly. Fast. Knew the menu inside and out. Kept the drinks full. Never interrupted. The s.o.b. gave me absolutely nothing to complain about, which only deepened my resentment. The food, meanwhile, was infuriatingly good. The pizzas arrived looking like they'd been blessed by an Italian grandmother carrying unresolved anger from 1947. Thin crust. Fresh mozzarella. Just enough char to remind you that ovens are supposed to flirt with fire, not electricity. The pasta had that unmistakable handmade texture that makes Olive Garden feel like a felony. The cocktails disappeared with alarming speed. By my third Negroni, I was convinced I could hear Dean Martin narrating my life. Walking out, I glanced back toward the hostess one last time. She smiled. For approximately three seconds I considered abandoning my entire life to become a part-time sommelier with absolutely no qualifications. Then reality returned. The male waiter handed me the check. Four stars. The food was phenomenal. The cocktails were dangerous. The hostess should be classified as an Italian national treasure. And our waiter deserves a raise... despite committing the unforgivable crime of existing between me and the waitresses.

Food: 4 stars Service: 2 stars…read more My husband and I made a reservation for 6:30 on a Friday night for the Patio. This restaurant is downtown Mount Prospect along the Metra tracks. They have a nice sized outdoor seating area. The inside also looked cute. We were excited to see that they had a singer. At first he sang mostly Spanish songs but then switched to various songs and genres. He was very good. I'm not sure if he's a regular performer there or not though as this was our first time. We were seated and looked over the menu. We ordered chips and salsa (great chips and salsa btw). Then we ordered Dahlia margaritas. Chips and salsa came out quickly. Then we waited and waited and waited for our drinks. I saw a guy walking around with 2 not very appealing looking margaritas. He unsuccessfully attempted to deliver them to multiple tables, then finally came to our table and said "2 traditional margaritas" and we said no, we ordered Dahlia margaritas and he goes "Oh ya these are Dahlia margaritas." I looked at the margaritas and they had no salt and just looked meh. We kind of hesitated and he was like with no salt? And we were said no, we said salt. So we sent them back. Guys, I NEVER send things back...ever. Then we waited some more and finally the correct drinks were brought to us. We ordered our food, shrimp tacos and steak tacos. Then we were just chatting and we realized it had been awhile since we ordered. It was busy so we kind of just shrugged it off. Then our server came over and apologized that it was taking so long and said it should be out soon. We waited and waited and waited. We noticed that no one else around us seemed to be having delayed service. Then some girl who looked about 18 came over and apologized for the wait and asked if she could get us anything.... I wanted to say our food, but I did not. No joke, we waited 45 minutes for our tacos. All that was offered was a "sorry for the delay". When our food came we had to ask for silverware and then also ordered another round of margaritas (also side note the Dahlia Margarita is just meh and not worth the higher price). Our margaritas took 15 minutes. We were almost done with our dinner by the time they arrived. The shrimp tacos were really good minus the crazy amount of oil that dripped out while eating them. I held them sideways to try to drain as much out as I could. My husband enjoyed his steak tacos. Over $100 for 4 margaritas and 2 taco meals. Which is the standard nowadays. I will say the only reason we will not be returning is because of the service and the fact that they didn't seem to care that the service was so poor. Otherwise this would be a new favorite place of ours.

However, as…read morethe day approached, the weather forecast consistently called for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and possible flash flooding. We decided it was not a good idea to drive to an unfamiliar area in inclement weather and canceled the reservation on Friday night. We were fortunate that Social Inn is close by and is a great restaurant for celebratory dining. Best of all, they still had reservation available. As it turned out, it was just light rain the entire evening on Father's Day, but we didn't regret the change at all. Although the restaurant was not filled to capacity, it was bustling with many families celebrating Father's Day, creating a festive vibe. It's the first time that we met the owner, Daniella, who's so warm and welcoming. She invited us to choose from available tables in three different dining areas. We selected the table right by the lounge that had a large TV, homey décor, couch and cocktail table. It was also right by the big window overlooking the small and charming front patio. Our server, Chis, was very friendly, pleasant, and attentive. I ordered a Lemonade ($3), my husband and daughter each enjoyed a glass of Mer Soliel Reserve Chardonnay (2 for $26). We shared a Grilled Octopus ($22) which was cooked to perfection. The warm, lightly charred pita points paired well with the creamy and tasty beet hummus. I had a Slow Roasted Lamb Shank ($39) which was tender and full of flavors. It was a very generous portion that I shared a big piece with my husband; and still had leftovers to take home. It made a delicious lamb sandwich for my next lunch. My husband liked his Spiked White Fish ($29) so much last time that he ordered it again. Our daughter enjoyed her order of Rigatoni Sausage ($23), another generously portioned dish that she couldn't quite finish. By the end of the meal, we were too full for individual desserts, so we shared a Crème Brûlée ($8), which was the perfect sweet ending. All in all, it was a wonderful dinner. With consistent delicious dishes, warm hospitality, comfortable seating, and a convenient location, we will definitely be back again.
