A fun dessert spot when you want something different from a typical bakery or ice cream shop. You can build your own dessert by choosing a rice pudding or custard-based base, size and toppings, or select one of the signature creations. We tried the Kusharita, Satalana, Labanita, Pandalita and Donulita. There was a nice mix of creamy and crunchy textures from the rice pudding, custard, kunafa, cream, and pistachio. The chocolate doughnut and bear-shaped desserts were so cute and decadent, with truffle-like centers. Labanz Cafe was such a cool find in Anaheim! I came in specifically to try some of their desserts and ended up ordering the Ashtotaz, Satalana, and Crepanita. Everything had a great combination of textures. Creamy, crunchy, rich, and loaded with flavors like chocolate and pistachio. The Crepanita was my favorite of the three. If you're into the whole Dubai chocolate craze, this is definitely one to try. They also brought out a drink with a really refreshing coconut flavor that helped balance out the sweetness of the desserts. The presentation was impressive, the portions were generous, and it was fun getting to try desserts that were different from what I normally see around Orange County. Definitely worth checking out if you're exploring Anaheim's Little Arabia or just looking for a new dessert spot. I'll be back to try more! read more

Many cool chocolate desserts, specifically with real pistachio nuts. Definitely great for sweets lover. They do have several cute animal shaped desserts, even ice cream and lattes. Matcha was ok (3/5 stars for the matcha) and dubai flavored ice cream could've contained more pistachio bits. I recommend getting one of their layered cakes - the star of everything I tried. Satalana lotus pistachio (large) was $15 and was covered on top with pistachios and biscoff bits. I like the light custard base they make in house. Kanafe bits crunchy and plenty here. If you're into the viral dubai chocolate, try this place because they have a variety of desserts related to this flavor. read more

Labanz cafe is so so delicious and the spot to go it you have a sweet tooth like me! Parking: they have a lot in the front, but it was filled when we got there Sunday afternoon. Luckily, they have a huge parking lot in the back just for Labanz customers, so parking is t an issue at all. Food: we ordered the crepe with nutella, strawberries, and bananas, the mini pancakes dubai style, the ashtoutaz with lotus (biscoff) topping, & the kusharita with mixed nuts. The crepe, ashtoutaz, & mini pancakes were amazing! Nothing could've changed it to make it better. The kusharita was also delicious, but we just wish there was a bit more rice pudding inside as it felt like there was more mixed nuts than the rice pudding. Other than that, everything else was delicious! Service: Service was good, we were helped by a young lady with glasses who was pretty quick and knowledgeable. Overall, i'd definitely be back. So finally had time to stop by this place to see what all the hype was about! Rawanda was very helpful, letting us know what we should order and what her opinion was! We were a pretty big group and they accommodated us with tables and chairs! The music jams are amazing and the service was great! The place is very clean and plenty of parking! Cute spot with plentiful parking and outdoor seating. Nice minimal decor and lots of utensils readily available. The staff were two lovely ladies who were very patient taking our order. The salanaz was my favorite. It's not small but it's light and cold and not too sweet so you can taste all the layers. So perfectly a combo of creamy, crunchy and flavor packed. Don't get me wrong the Dubai crepe was also delicious. It is generously draped in hazelnut and pistachio sauce as well as crushed pistachios. I would definitely go back for another taste. pulled up and i got the Ashtoutaz, Bombalita & a mini Satalana. the best was by far the ashtoutaz, it is a milk soaked cake & I got half lotus cookie & half dubai style. 9/10, so good. the bombalita was good too but I feel like all the different flavors clashed a little bit with the dubai/chocolate being the most strong one. It was still good though I couldnt stop eating it. The mini satalana was okay to me , I added strawberries & bananas on top. Labanz Cafe is incredible! The moment I walked in, it took me back home. The atmosphere, the hospitality, and especially the desserts brought back so many great memories. I came to Labanz around 7:30 and it was chill I left like at 8 and it was still chill. The service was AMAZING, I had come from the Instagram videos and they did not disappoint! Our cashier Celine was so nice and gave us awesome suggestions. Her co-worker Amir was chill too. I got the Dubai crepe and the Dubai Satalana in medium. It came up to $30 which was kinda pricey so just beware. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want to try something new and yummy. read more

Labanz was a disappointing experience. We ordered two desserts, but they misheard the name of one item. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they insisted it was our fault and said we should have double-checked because the names sound similar. When we asked if they could exchange it, they said they didn't have the item we originally wanted. Then when my husband asked if they could make it if we paid the price difference, the employee suddenly said they might be able to. The whole interaction was strange and frustrating. Definitely try the banana bread as a side. It is excellent! Also worth getting one to go. Overall, eating at the Scratch Xafe was a good experience, and I look forward to eating there again soon.

My friend ordered the avocado toast, but it was basically just a slice of bread with sliced avocado--no seasoning, condiments, or anything to make it stand out. The small garden salad was equally underwhelming, consisting of only romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with no dressing or even a drizzle of olive oil. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but they were more like open-faced boiled eggs since the yolks were completely hard instead of runny. The café de olla had a nice flavor, but it was much sweeter than expected. I think it would be better if they served it unsweetened (or lightly sweetened) and let customers adjust the sugar to their own taste. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the ambiance is so charming, but the food just didn't live up to the experience.

I paid $17.54 for a biscuit with egg, cheese, turkey sausage, and a black iced coffee. The biscuit was decent, but fairly small, and nothing about the sandwich felt premium enough to justify the price. The turkey sausage tasted like a standard pre-made sausage, and if there was a significant upcharge for choosing turkey, it didn't feel warranted. The coffee was fine. It was a basic black iced coffee, good enough, but not something that stood out or justified a premium price. My biggest issue is the value. Nearly $18 for a simple breakfast sandwich and a plain black iced coffee feels excessive for what was served. I've also noticed that the total seems to vary from visit to visit, making it difficult to know what to expect when ordering. I genuinely like the people who work here and wish them success. This review isn't about the staff. For me, it's simply a matter of price versus value, and I can no longer justify spending this much for a basic breakfast and coffee. This was our first time visiting this place, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. When we approached the counter to place our order, the staff didn't greet us at all. Instead, they were rude and abruptly told us to use the kiosk, which felt unwelcoming and dismissive. We ordered two scoops of Ashta ice cream but only received one scoop. The Strawberry Crepanita was nothing like the picture advertised--it was extremely thin, had barely any filling, and looked rushed, as if no care or effort went into making it. The Lotus waffle was just okay, but they didn't add the sauce shown in the photos, which was disappointing and misleading. On top of that, the name "Labanz" is confusing and misleading. The business is Egyptian- and Palestinian-owned, which isn't an issue at all, but the branding suggests something different and added to the overall confusion and disappointment. Overall, the desserts lacked flavor, the atmosphere felt tacky, and the staff was rude and far from welcoming. Customer service was poor, and the experience did not match the expectations set by their menu or photos. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to others. read more

Labanz is an absolute gem for desserts. Every time I come here, I'm reminded why it's one of my favorite spots. The knafeh is outstanding -- perfectly crisp on the outside, warm and cheesy inside, and soaked with just the right amount of syrup. The baklava is fresh, flaky, and not overly sweet, and the ashta-filled pastries are rich and creamy without being heavy. You can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. On top of the amazing desserts, the service is excellent. The staff is friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help you choose if it's your first time or if you're trying something new. Labanz has completely reimagined Middle Eastern desserts in the best way. I love how they take traditional flavors and ingredients like ashta, pistachios, kunafa, and mango and turn them into fun, modern fusion desserts that still stay true to their roots. Everything I've tried has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Ashtoutaz is a standout and such a unique dessert that you won't find just anywhere. You can really tell they put thought into creating combinations that celebrate Middle Eastern flavors while offering something new. The matcha is smooth and flavorful without being overly bitter, and the combinations with fresh fruit are excellent. The strawberry-matcha has a great balance of earthy matcha, creamy richness, and bright strawberry flavor. The mango-matcha is another standout, especially if you like tropical flavors. I also tried their creamy milk and boba drink. The brown sugar flavor was excellent, and the boba had the fresh, chewy texture you want rather than tasting like it had been sitting around. The presentation is also impressive. These aren't generic drinks thrown together quickly. You can tell there is thought behind the ingredients, flavors, and appearance. For Disneyland visitors, this is exactly the type of locally owned Anaheim spot I would recommend seeking out. You can get away from the crowds around the resort, support a local business, and try something much more interesting than another chain coffee shop. Excellent drinks, beautiful presentation, friendly atmosphere, and conveniently located near Disneyland. LACà Ave is an Anaheim hidden gem and an easy 5 stars for me.
