I had an appointment for later in the day but finished with my doctor early. So, I showed up as a walk in and they would not see me until my appointment time. There was no one to talk to. It is all sign-in at a kiosk, which is okay, but I walked to change from appt to walk in. I waited about an hour, which I did expect some wait time. They were already an hour behind. There were supposed to be 5 technicians, but only 2 were working - I guess the other 3 called in sick. I am glad I am not paying for this service; my employer is. I will suggest they change servcies. read more

Worst experience with a lab. If you need to draw for your child or even yourself, go to Texas Children's west campus, stay away from this place at all cost. I took my 2 year old to do a blood draw. After a whole 1+ hours of struggle, they drew half of what's required of the sample and told us to go the Texas Childrens. Don't let a child suffer if you don't have the skills/equipment! 1. Check in - all automated, there's no information about anything, how long the wait will be, any direction from the kiosk. I only learned after a kind gentlemen told me that we can check the queue on the TV in the waiting room; 2. Charge the maximum upfront - my insurance covers lab 100%, the technician draw up a bill $36+ and told me that this is the maximum they'd charge, they won't draw unless I pay, and that they won't do a bill to be mailed, and it's my responsibility to talk with my insurance - there's no customer service attitude at all; I don't think any other industry allows them to charge the maximum and for customer to argue to insurance to get refund; 3. Poor skill - the technician draw one of the two required tubes and there's no more blood coming, she repeatedly said my daughter is dehydrated, don't put blame on the patient when you don't have the skill to draw blood fully, my daughter was poked on both arms and she maneuvered the needle so harshly I can't stand to look. Just upfront refuse to take the order if you don't have the skill, you are just making a two year old suffer by going through a whole exercise and then discard the 1 tube that you already drew! read more

They turned me away twice saying that their system shut down for urine drug screening when I came ab hour before they closed. The first time I understood so I went to another labcorp where they informed me that this location lied about the system closing at that time. That location was also unavailable, so I came back to this location the following day and they tried denying me again even though I can an hour and a half before closing. She lied to me again saying that the system wouldn't check me in when My name is clearly on the list on the tv. I insisted with her that I have to get it done today since it is due by next week. Only then did she tell me to have a seat. So she was clearly caught in a lie and so was the other employee. This is very disappointing. read more

I recently went to labcorp to get blood work . I booked an appointment the day before . When I went there they told me they had no more blood tests when I got there. Why would a huge company run out of test at 11am. They should of least called me to let me know. I took the day off of work just to get blood work. So not only did I lose a sick day , I had to drive another 20 minutes and waste another hour at another location. Presented to the building and see there's a line out the door of the clinic. After standing in line for a few moments, I overhear someone ask "is this the line to check in"? Response.... "No, there's a kiosk INSIDE the clinic area". There's no signage to direct the person to the kiosk. Check in was decent; directed to sit and wait until my name was called. After several minutes my name is called and I approach the desk. I turn in my paperwork and was told that there's a long wait due to understaffing and "someone" needs to go eat. I asked what does one do when they are here for a drug screen and already need to urinate? To which I was told the staff has addressed this with the supervisor and it fell on deaf ears. The front desk couldn't even give an estimate. But she stated she has 3 blood draws ahead of others. *suggestion: urine collection tests should take the priority. read more

We registered for an appointment two days ago. My husband has to do fasting bloodwork for epilepsy medication levels so he could not eat or take meds for 12 hours. We arrived on time, signed it on the appoitment ledger, and the electronic kiosk. It is now 10:22 and we are still waiting. I am afraud he will have a seizure if he can't take his meds soon. The place is crowded, noisy, and run poorly. We will never come here again. UPDATE: We were finally callled back at 10:33. An hour wait. And then a five minute argument with the phlebotomist and receptionist because they kept thinking two different doctors were ordering the draw. Our doctor's middle initial on one page threw them both off. She has a very uncommon last name, but these two decided to take this time to educate us about insurance instead of just understanding it was one doc and one order. Amazing. read more

This place sucks! I scheduled an appointment online for a Saturday morning at 9:15 am. When I arrive to have lab work done at 8:45 am, I'm greeted by a small room filled to over capacity. I find my way to the back of the room to sign in using the standard IPad on a stand. After doing so, I go outside the waiting room and into the lobby to wait. At 9:10am I make my way back into the PACKED waiting room and approach the window to inquire if they are running on schedule. The young lady at the window asked me if I signed in on the sheet at her desk and I tell her no, I signed in on the IPad like every low budget lab has you do. She then tells me that she doesn't think that the IPad is working correctly and that I needed to sign in on the sheet at her window and that they have several walk-in patients that are ahead of me. What the F*#&. Lady, I made an appointment online and I'm not waiting for all these people who just decided to show up without an appointment! If you make an appointment for a certain day and time, they should take you at the appropriate time and make the walk-ins wait. Not the other way around! Needless to say, I left that facility to never return. This lab needs to re-evaluate the way they do business. Next time I will show up 15 minutes prior to opening and jump the line because, well, I was a walk-in and arrived first! What a bunch of crap. Note to lab workers: Please put a sign out explaining to customers that the IPad isn't working correctly and to sign in at the desk for your appointment. (By the way, the IPad took all my information and asked me to have a seat with a 15 to 20 minute wait). So I would think that the IPad was working when I arrived) read more

Incredibly RUDE lab. It seems like they are trying to run an assembly line. The receptionist was so incredibly impatient and does it kill someone to give them a smile every once in a while?! I personally am a healthcare provider and it always makes me very upset when I see others who lack the patience and empathy. The phlebotomist could have done a better job. I have blood drawn quite often and I haven't had a painful drawing in the past with the smaller butterfly needles but today, the drawing was almost unbearable! As I was leaving, I saw a new patient walk up to the front because she had a question and the receptionist brusquely told her to check in at the kiosk. Then, the patient said she had a question first to which the receptionist reported she would be with her in a minute. I'm never coming back to this lab. What a shame. read more

Went there after work today (45 minute drive) and arrived at 445. Door was locked. I knocked. No one answered. I called. No one answered. As I was leaving my message a girl opened the door and said "we close at 445". I pointed to the sign on the door which said they are open till 5. She commented that all their systems were down including their "blood machines". She told me I should come earlier or come on Saturdays. I go every 1-2 weeks for a standing order at this same time and it's never been an issue. This place has a high turnover rate. Always new people and they are overworked so now they have bottom of the barrel rude, dishonest people like the person I had to deal with tonight. Don't go here. read more

Ugh! This review is coming from someone who went there to pee in a cup, so it may be just a little on the crabby side. All I'm asking for is a little bit of professionalism. I was not informed that there was a clipboard when I walked in. I was just told to have a seat. A couple of people came in and approached a closed window, so I got curious and asked someone how they keep track of the order, if they are just telling us to have a seat. She told me about the sign-in clipboard (which I looked for at the open window and did not see). The computer was down, so all the appointments were backed up for at least an hour. What really made me upset about this place was the fact that their office hours are clearly posted to read that they are open at 7:00 AM, but when I came in to take my drug test, they told me they did not start testing until 9. I got there early, came again at 9 and was not out until 11. I was supposed to be at work at 9! read more

The worst. People here are rude and apathetic. Things are always going the wrong way when you arrive somewhere you are supposed to receive service and you say good morning and there is no reply. The dude at the window just points at an unsanitary, old, clipboard and says "sign". No information was given, nor they asked me what I was there for. The waiting room is small and full of people, and the dude at the window was watching TV and changing the channels to his leisure. I honestly would not want these people to touch me, nor even think about drawing blood from me, if the service inside is as it is outside. I just stand up and left because there are many options out there and customers deserve respect. I've been using this place for my labwork for several years and they have always been slow. In addition, they tend to be somewhat rude. I won't be going back. I found out my insurance takes another place and I will be going there for now on. And before you think they are slow because they are short staffed they took 45 minutes to stick 6-7 patients with 4-5 people working. I know there was only one person working the desk. And only two doing sticks, what the others were doing I've no idea. read more

I have blood work done here every three months and occasionally I have to drop in for more work. I have always found them professional and quick. I am a hard stick and when I'm in hospital the staff nurses give up on me quickly. I have never had a problem with sticks at this clinic. They get in and out, usually with only one try, and I am on my way. I have never had to wait more then ten minutes for my turn. It may help that I treat them courteously, but I have never had a rude encounter, although the staff is not overly effusive. They are polite and efficient, and that is all I ask for. read more

i will give them 0 stars if i could. we are a home health agency (onlex healthacare), and lately we been having issues when we deliver our samples. for example last friday april 26, we hand delivered an urine collection with a cold pack to a kingsland boulevard , katy texas location and for our surprise this morning monday 4/29/2019 we received the lab results stating : our specimen was not received at refrigerated temperature, and this is not true, because we hand delivered to kingsland facility and this is not the first time this happen . now we have to pay our nurse again because the front desk lady didn't pay attention what she was doing. my question is: what kind of people are you hiring for this positions? do you trained them? read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could! This place is horrible! I made an appointment for this past Saturday because I'm very busy during the week. I made an appointment for 10am and got there on time, signed in and sat down. A couple minutes later, my name was called and I was asked my reason for being there: drug test. The person said "Sorry, the guy who does that is not here yet, he should be here by 10:30." I couldn't believe my ears, but I said ok and sat down again. Two minutes later, I was called back and told "He just called and he won't be here till 11. You're welcome to wait." Now, I was getting mad, and what really got me was the tone of voice in which I was told this; very nonchalant and uncaring and somewhat rude. I noticed that the workers were also rude to other customers: being unnecessarily short with them and being derogatory. One customer was told "we're open from 7 - 5, 7am - 5pm" in a degrading manner. What other hours would it be? 7pm to 5am?? The am and pm was unnecessary. So anyway, I sit and wait and wait. Keep in mind that people like me with appointments get to go first and the walk-ins are taken after all the appointments. So my appointment-having self sits for an hour while ALL of the appointments plus the 8 or so walk-ins have their stuff done and leave! I was livid at this point. Finally, at 11:10, I got up, went to the window, and then waited 5 minutes until someone finally decided to come up to it. I told the worker that I had an appointment for 10, was told the guy wouldn't be there till 10:30, then 11:00 and it was now 11:15. She said "well, he was supposed to be here but he's not answering his phone so I really don't know when he'll be here." I asked her why I was able to make an appointment for a drug test if no one was going to be there. She said "well, he was supposed to be here. can you come back during the week?" I told her no, I can't. Her response was a weak "Sorry." I said, that's fine, I'll leave, picked up my stuff and left. I will NEVER go there again. I made an appointment for the following Monday at a LabCorp close to my job (427 W. 20th Street) and took brief break to get the testing done.
