I was very happy with my pedicure and a full-set. It was very clean, very relaxing, and they didn't push anything on me. I'm not sure why the review down below said they use cheap products and that it didn't last. I found it to be the exact opposite. My pedicure is going on 3 weeks and it still looks as great as I did when I walked out. I also love that my full set is the "natural" color gel. They didn't use the stuff that makes the bed of your nails look hot pink. Just a natural pink and white. I will be frequenting this salon again definitely. read more

I have been a customer of Natalie, the owner, for about 15 years. I've followed her from San Clemente to her salon in Tustin. i now live in Aliso Viejo and still drive to Tustin for my nails. Natalie is extremely concerned with cleanliness and i have never seen her treat any customer with anything but courtesy In all those years I have never gotten a fungus or infection or even been hurt with a file.. She is friendly and a lovely lady in that she is a CHRISTIAN and most, if not all the girls in her salon, are too. She gives much of her free time to serving in her church........over and beyond what most believers do. She conducts her business and life as God would want her to. The salon is excellent in every way. OPI is not a cheap product. I find it interesting that most people never write a review unless they are not happy so I'd ignore those negative reviews and consider the positive ones as the opinion of at least 20 people as only one in 20 will take the time to write a positive review. I stopped in this afternoon to get a gel polish, since I didn't have time for a full gel manicure. The girl was very nice and the polish was very nicely done. The only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars was she charged me $22 for a gel polish when the website says $20 for a gel manicure, I was shocked to be charged more for just a polish! I won't go back, which is sad, because the polish is quite beautifully done...but I just hate to be overcharged for no apparent reason. read more

Terrible eyelashes. It was supposed to be 1x1 but it was 2x1 and they did not at all look natural and I asked her to trim them and she didn't want to and said I'd get used to them . I paid 90$ but eyelashes fell out same day. This is my first review because I was that unhappy with the result. I stopped by as a walk-in and had no wait. I was excited to try a new salon, as it was very clean and nice looking on the inside and out. I requested the new OPI Gel Manicure, which they do provide. However, I was very disappointed in the quality of the service. Also, the color started a good distance from my cuticule making may manicure look a week old the minute I left the salon. The manicure was very uneven, leaving uneven spots of color on my nails. Also, this gel manicure is known for not chipping until it is removed at the salon. However, two days following my manicure, three of my nails had chips on them. I was disappointed because the service was $20 more than the regular manicure so I was expecting better quality. This made me think that they diluted the gel to make it last for more manicures - at the expense of my manicure life. In the end, I paid $63 (not including tip) for a regular spa pedicure and this gel manicure that lasted 1 1/2 days. Must say I will not be visiting this nail salon in the future. read more

I got my nails done by two different women so far, but the one I can remember her name is Natalie and I really like how she did my pedicure. She did an amazing job! Drove my mom here and it was super clean. Saw there was sanitary bags in the chairs for feet. Overall looked very nice.

This salon is close to my work and I have been coming here for years, sometimes twice a month so I would say that I am a loyal customer. A few weeks ago I made an appointment on a Thrusday and ended up staying home sick from work that day. I forgot about the appointment and forgot to call and cancel. When I went in today I was scolded by the owner for not cancelling my appointment and was told how I wasted not 1 but 2 appointments by not cancelling. I guess when I didn't show up for the Thrusday appointment she put me down for Friday becuase I sometimes come in on Fridays... There were other customers in the salon and this was quite embarrassing, had I not been in the middle of the pedicure I would have left. Maybe someone should reminder her that she works in a CUSTOMER SERVICE industry and that this isn't the way you treat your loyal customers. I won't be back. read more

If you to pay top dollar for plain, standard nail work, come here. My *regular* mani+pedi ending up costing $40. They charge $5 premium for simply removing gel but didn't disclose this until I was asked to pay half way into the service. Their gel manicures are $35... seriously? Friend recommended so I decided to check it out. Wanted a gel color change and pedicure. Place is nice. The girl who did my nails was nice, and did a nice job on my gel nails. The girl who did my pedi though didn't understand me very well and did just an "ok" job. Didn't really get in to check for any ingrowns and didn't really get down and remove all the cuticles. That's a big deal for me. So for both it was $48...not bad we will see how the gels last. I may be back. Nice gel selection to. And they do have opi polish but my gel I used was a Gelish color. read more

Got a basic manicure with no gel. $13. Very clean with tools coming out of a package-meaning they are sterilized. Manicurist Vicki was very friendly too. The place is very clean and air conditioned too with nice Hawaii like paintings on the wall. I will definitely be back soon read more

Natalie was trying to help me through out the time but the lady who did my nails managed to mess them up again & it was 8pm.. I went to this salon bak in Feb to get a pink in white. i understand that it was almost closing time however i did ask the manager if it was alright for the service. She had said yes and handled me off to someone else . Will later the manager has left and tech had started to talk among themselve in vietnamese . Them not knowing that I understood everything they said. Id ask the tech in english if she can shorten the length do to the fact that they were pretty long before she started on the other hand. Her remark in Vietnamese to this other lady is " this fucken hooker wants them cut down more." I respond to her in vietnamese all it was all so quiet in the salon until i left. I still paid for the service but no I would never go back there again yet refer anyone there. read more

Horrible!!! Do not recommend to anyone!!! Rude staff, poor quality materials. Got my nails done three days ago, paid over $30 for a full set, only for three nails to chip and one to come completely off! Go back to the salon to be told "it normal, nail break easy!" Really??? I just had my nailed done here by Dora and Quyen. All of the ladies there seem very nice and they did a great job on my nails. It was my first time getting a gel manicure and Quyen was very good at explaining to me how they work and how to take care of it. The shop is very clear and all the tools try use come from sterile packages. It is a little expensive, but I really do think you get what you pay for. This was my first trip here and my first Gel manicure. The place is clean and the girl who did my pedicure was awesome. Natalie did my gel manicure (she went back and forth between me and another client). Since this was my first gel, I wasn't really sure what to expect. She filed my nails and then painted them. No, message. No cleaning them first. Nothing! I think $25 for a "manicure" is way overpriced when all you are doing is painting the nails. I will be looking for another nail place. read more

I've gone to this salon for about a year. Lately I notice everytime I sit down they give me a little menu to sell me some "deluxe" pedicure. Then they try to sell me the callus remover for 5 dollars, then the scrub 5 dollars, today it was a decent massage of the lotion for 5 dollars. This was my last visit. The person that did my salon had to go on and on about my callused heels to the point that other patrons were bending to see the freak show... all to sell their extra services. She said I needed to have it done- I told her I had it done every other week by them. She said they no do good job...okay ...I dont even think she understood me. Just tired of being sold "up" to get a pedicure. She did not say thank you after I paid either. She was obviously disappointed she could not sell me all their other services. By the way, ladies...you can buy a whole container or callus remover from Sally's for $3.99... the $5.00 a visit is ridiculous! read more
