    Cannoli
    Noah

Stopped by for a late night snack! Had to try their cannoli as it looked so good online. We were pleasantly surprised by how big it was. The cannoli had a really nice crispy shell and the candied orange was a great addition. We sat at the bar to get the full experience of the restaurant. Even at around 9pm, the restaurant was still lively. They also have a pick up window where you can order these cannolis!

Easy parking in a garage around the corner or a nice walk from ogilvie metra or the CTA. We had a choice of beautiful outdoor or indoor seating. Both were lovely. We choose inside and the interior was warm and cozy with good lighting. Service was excellent - exactly what you want in Chicago. Friendly but not interrupting. Gracious and accommodating but not in your face. The server was always nearby. If he wasn't actively helping a table, he polished flatware at nearby tables! He asked us if we had any dietary needs and I said butter is tricky for me since I'd seen a lot of butter on the menu. Without hesitation he asked if I'd like olive oil with the bread service rather than butter. Wow! Yes I'd love that. And he pointed to the pastas which had butter so I could select one without. Also they left a carafe of water on the table but whenever it got even half emptied, they would swap it out for a full water so we always had plenty of water. I'd give them 5 stars just for that! I had The Walnut which was the perfect blend of sweet and savory without diminishing the whiskey. Very strong. The bread has a pleasant softness inside with flavorful seeds on the crust. I ordered the pomodoro and was pleased that it was not sweet. The pasta is fresh and has a delightful chew. Also the spaghetti is already cut so it's not teeny pieces but also not strands that go on forever. It was easy to pick up with my fork I added salmon to it. You can add salmon to any of the pastas. It's four ounces. And they ask how it should be cooked. I found the dish lacking in salt but otherwise good quality. My friend had the steak frites and said it was good. She cleaned her plate. I'm not a big fan of Italian but given the excellent service even I would consider returning.

We had a great experience at Labriola! The food was excellent and our server was great. Large portions of the food, the Cesar salad can easily be split between 3-4 people.

Great new spot in Fulton Market worth checking out! Had the bolognese pasta with Wagyu beef and garlic knots. Chef's kiss. Would order this again!

Fun new spot on Fulton, got to enjoy a spot at the bar with all the windows open on opening night. Good layout and vibe going on. Food was yummy, cocktails and wine were good, and the service was great. Excited to have this around as we get into the warmer weather.

The restaurant is not busy at all. We were seated right away. Our server was nice and attentive. We ordered pizza and pasta. Pepperoni and Whipped Ricotta Pizza - cooked perfectly, fresh ingredients and delicious! Served hot! Short Rib Pappardelle - to die for! This is very tasty, the pasta is cooked al dente. The short rib sauce is ssosooo delicious! We sat by the bar overlooking the open kitchen. It was nice to see the chef make the pizza and make the pasta. Further area is more fine dining with wall of wine. Very classy! Street parking only. So plan ahead.

Normally I hate those kinds of large group dinners, but this was the perfect spot for it. The service was absolutely wonderful. I don't know how our server stayed so cool and calm with a group that size. We got a variety of things. EVERYTHING was amazing. If you have seen any of my other reviews, I always get a meatball when I'm at a place that has them. They almost never live up to my expectation. But this place has the new gold standard for a meatball. It was everything you want. It is fork tender, full of flavor, no chewy ground up bits. The pizzas were authentic and thin. With fabulous house made red sauce that wasn't too thick and overwhelming. The flavor was A+ The cocktails were so good! All made from scratch with love. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Perfect for a group or a date. They have a full bar, and also great seating with perfect lighting. This is a new favorite for me in the city.

The octopus surprised me because octopus can be hit or miss for me, but they did it really well! The table bread was also pretty good and cheesy. The Caesar was just fine. Nothing special but not bad (which is good coming from me since I'm not usually big on kale). Of course all of the pastas were yummy. The fusilloni was definitely my favorite from the noodle shape to the sausage and cheese. The ricotta dumplings were suuuuuper cheesy which I really liked (though I could see why others wouldn't) and had a melt in your mouth softness. The rigatoni was tasty, but kinda just tasted like a normal red sauce so would probably try something more interesting next time. We really enjoyed the chicken parm, too. Not as good as the pastas, but definitely tasty and the basil was a good touch. We finished with the guava cheesecake sundae. I really liked the little bits of cake, but the ice cream itself was a little lacking for me. Still a nice sweet treat to finish the meal!! We had the perfect amount of food overall for 4 people!

The place is a little crammed inside, but good service. I think they have cameras lol because everytime I was running out of water or when I was done with my food the servers came around FAST AF. I had the tagliatelle , a beef shank ragu with parmesan and oregano. There was a hearty helping of shredded beef in there, noodles are homemade and dense with flavor. But again, serving size I chowed down on this pretty fast and even upon presentation I'm like "that's it?!" Just because serving sizes I don't think I'd come here again. Flavor and experience can make up for it, vibes lol. But still not enough for me
