What a cute place! Small restaurant with outdoor seating only. Customer service was top notch. I was offered samples of the margaritas. Very tasty and full of tequila. Get there early to get a seat. Ladue Taco exceeded my expectations! I thought the pricing and portion sizes of the loaded nachos was fair and the carne asada was surprisingly tender. The frozen and regular margaritas are self serve with a handful of interesting flavors. Loved the outdoor patio and service was pretty quick, but my only big complaint is they don't have a restroom, so definitely something to consider when dining in, especially if you're getting the unlimited margs. So, if you haven't been here yet, finding them can be a little tricky. Best way to find them is to park in front of the strip mall. There is a walkway between Companion Bakery and the antique shop. Follow that path back and they are located on the right side. Ladue Taco is counter service. When the weather is nice, there's a small counter outside the shop or a patio next to the bakery to enjoy your meal. Otherwise, plan for carry out. The space is small but the team moves the line very quickly. They offer a variety of protein options in every variety of taco and burrito. The chips and salsa were excellent and we highly recommend the cheese dip. My go-to at any taco shop is the Al pastor. They did a fantastic job with this one, tender and juicy. The Burria and barbacoa are also excellent options. My favorite part of the meal were their margaritas. A big variety of frozen and on the rocks. Ladue Taco is a fantastic taco stand hidden behind the Companion space. You'll recognize many of the friendly Companion staff serving up a delicious menu of tacos, burritos, nachos, and such, all customizable with your choice of protein. They also have sides like chips, salsa, guacamole, queso and pinto beans. There is no indoor seating, but on seasonable evenings, the Companion patio is an option for dining there. Carryout orders are well packed to take home. The food is outstanding, with generous portions. My first time, I had the barbacoa burrito, and on my second visit, the mahi mahi--both were incredible! My daughter has tried the quesadilla and nachos and loved them as well. The only drawback is that they're only open in the evenings, so no lunch time taco fix. read more

I loved the location and vibe but I agree with the other reviewers who said the food is fresh but kinda bland. I will not return since I prefer spicy food. I don't recommend the carne asada on cool tortillas. The tacos are $4 each and nicely presented. You order at the cashier and wait outside and eat outside or take the food home- which I like. They package every item as to-go -in a disposable container in a plastic bag - even if you are eating just outside on the patio. Not a fan of all that packaging for those who are staying. read more

There were 8 of us, and I was a bit concerned about the seating since it's outside only, but we were lucky enough to make it work. I didn't take lots of pictures because it's a small space and it was crowded when we came. The staff was so patient and friendly. I ordered tune $22 margarita that you can refill. The margaritas are good but too sweet for me. Both on the rocks and frozen. I also tried spicy margaritas. If it wasn't spicy. If you love sweet margaritas, this is for you. Our table ordered several different menu options. We had 2 people order the burrito, 1 bbq brisket, and 1 carne asada. Both said they were really good. I had 1 chicken and 1 barbacoa taco on corn. The tortillas could've been cooked a little to warm, but I loved the barbacoa. The flavor was amazing. A friend had carne asada on flour and said it wasn't that good, but she did like the taste of it in a burrito. Others had nachos, and the chips taste stale. Very rarely do I get excited about a taco joint (I'm much more of a Tex Mex kinda gal), but Ladue Taco is IT! Incredibly speedy service and delicious food at a reasonable price for today's standard. My husband and I tried the shrimp, mahi mahi, bbq brisket, chorizo and barbacoa tacos (ranked in order from favorite to just OK in my opinion) with chips and queso on the side. All stayed hot and fresh until we made it home to devour. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying more from their menu! read more

The chorizo nachos were a hit. They came with the queso on the side (smart delivery packaging). Every ingredient was very good which bodes well for the whole menu... Chorizo- very good, not spicy with a classic flavor. Guacamole- super fresh and delicious with a few hot kicks of pepper in some bites. Chips- perfect thin crispy homemade chips. This spot has been on my radar since it opened. Stoked I finally got to go! The location is a bit hidden, the entrance and signage off a path between 2 buildings...but I kind of love that! The restaurant itself is super cute inside. Vibrant colors, and fun decor. Do be aware, there is no inside seating. They have stools at a bar, that sits just outside the front window that will be awesome for warmer days. Plan to take your order to go though, if the weather isn't conducive to sitting outside. The staff is SO incredibly friendly and inviting. From welcoming us when we walked in, to offering suggestions, and even offering us samples of margaritas. The food is absolutely fantastic! My favorite thing being the mahi mahi taco. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the sauce and mango salsa that came on it were to die for. Might be the best fish taco I've ever had. At first sight and inside you wonder "why hasn't this always been a taco stand??". The space is made for this! Nice variety on their menu, plus they have specials! We tried: ground beef, bbq brisket (special), barbacoa, carne asada, chicken, and al pastor (special). Ground beef was ultimate comfort taco. No "signature seasoning" as I call it. Pure perfection in its simplicity! BBQ brisket was delicious, but bbq sauce was a bit sweet for me. Would have preferred something more smoky. Run don't walk to Ladue Taco! Some of the best tacos in the city without a doubt! We tried the queso, guacamole, and a variety of tacos. The tacos were a good size, and were all delicious. By the time I got home with the food, the tacos were a little cold, but the proteins were all so flavorful that we didn't even heat them prior to eating. Nachos were a special so we ordered those along with Mahi mahi, barbacoa and carne asada tacos and a frozen spicy margarita. I cannot say enough about how amazing everything was. Spicy margs are my favorite and this one was top notch. I loved the mango salsa on the mahi tacos. The queso on the nachos was fantastic. I can't say enough how great this place is.
