    Spicy Margarita

What a cute place! Small restaurant with outdoor seating only. Customer service was top notch. I was offered samples of the margaritas. Very tasty and full of tequila. Get there early to get a seat. I ordered shrimp and chorizo loaded nachos, great. I chose the spicy Margarita, very good, smooth with just a hint of Jalapeños. I also had churros. Warm and sweet with nutella. Next time I'm getting the mango tajin and strawberry and a quesadilla.

Ladue Taco exceeded my expectations! I thought the pricing and portion sizes of the loaded nachos was fair and the carne asada was surprisingly tender. The frozen and regular margaritas are self serve with a handful of interesting flavors. Loved the outdoor patio and service was pretty quick, but my only big complaint is they don't have a restroom, so definitely something to consider when dining in, especially if you're getting the unlimited margs. Overall it's a great casual Mexican spot for a summer meal or takeout spot in a central location!

So, if you haven't been here yet, finding them can be a little tricky. Best way to find them is to park in front of the strip mall. There is a walkway between Companion Bakery and the antique shop. Follow that path back and they are located on the right side. Ladue Taco is counter service. When the weather is nice, there's a small counter outside the shop or a patio next to the bakery to enjoy your meal. Otherwise, plan for carry out. The space is small but the team moves the line very quickly. They offer a variety of protein options in every variety of taco and burrito. The chips and salsa were excellent and we highly recommend the cheese dip. My go-to at any taco shop is the Al pastor. They did a fantastic job with this one, tender and juicy. The Burria and barbacoa are also excellent options. My favorite part of the meal were their margaritas. A big variety of frozen and on the rocks. Please stop in for a meal and margarita, Ladue Taco is worth a visit.

The food was so good! There was no indoor seating, so just be warned about that. There are some stools and seating outside if the weather is good. We got several different tacos, the steak fries, queso, and Guac and they were all really good! Especially enjoyed the queso.

One of the most delicious authentic burritos that I've had in a long time. With two sauces on the side. Very friendly staff.

I was drawn to this place because of a reel on IG and had to check it out. There were 8 of us, and I was a bit concerned about the seating since it's outside only, but we were lucky enough to make it work. I didn't take lots of pictures because it's a small space and it was crowded when we came. The staff was so patient and friendly. I ordered tune $22 margarita that you can refill. The margaritas are good but too sweet for me. Both on the rocks and frozen. I also tried spicy margaritas. If it wasn't spicy. If you love sweet margaritas, this is for you. Our table ordered several different menu options. We had 2 people order the burrito, 1 bbq brisket, and 1 carne asada. Both said they were really good. I had 1 chicken and 1 barbacoa taco on corn. The tortillas could've been cooked a little to warm, but I loved the barbacoa. The flavor was amazing. A friend had carne asada on flour and said it wasn't that good, but she did like the taste of it in a burrito. Others had nachos, and the chips taste stale. We wanted carne asada fries, but they were out of fries. The guac was good, and I heard their salsa was really spicy. I may come here again, but not any time soon.

Do not go here!! We ordered 5 tacos for our family and queso. Every single taco we ordered was cold, with the ground beef taco being a chunk of frozen beef. The cold tacos were tasteless, covered in lettuce and sour cream. There were 2 people waiting for their food and the staff apparently lost their tickets. The place is in horribly ran and on shambles. The only bright spot was the queso was good. Sad excuse for a restaurant...

Very rarely do I get excited about a taco joint (I'm much more of a Tex Mex kinda gal), but Ladue Taco is IT! Incredibly speedy service and delicious food at a reasonable price for today's standard. My husband and I tried the shrimp, mahi mahi, bbq brisket, chorizo and barbacoa tacos (ranked in order from favorite to just OK in my opinion) with chips and queso on the side. All stayed hot and fresh until we made it home to devour. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying more from their menu!

We stuck to fish tacos since it was a Friday during lent, but they did not disappoint. The margaritas & mad dog were very good as well and I would highly recommend! I like the idea of the QR codes to order at the tables. It felt like it made the process a bit faster, but it was still a hospitable environment. Everyone was very friendly and we felt taken care of. I prefer the quesadillas with some of the more unique flavors, especially since the price point is very reasonable and you get a fair portion of food. Service: very good. They have QR codes at each table that you can order and pay straight from your phone, which is very convenient and the food always comes out pretty quickly. The staff here is always so nice. Ambience: the majority of the eating area is outdoors in a heated tent. It's a nice vibe and lets you feel like you're sitting outside without actually having to be outside. Parking isn't too bad here, there's a small parking lot right behind the restaurant and then there is typically ample street parking. It can get quite busy at peak times, but they have a great pick up option as well.

Walking up to the entry gives you vacation vibes from The decor, tropical plants and modern aesthetics. Service was 10/10. All the staff we encountered were so friendly. They came by to check on us, and even the owner/manager came out to check in and make sure everything was good. The tacos were absolutely delicious, seasoned well and every ingredient was FRESH. I ordered the Galveston, and the Baja, and my mom ordered the del Rio and the Biloxi, and we shared a trifecta appetiser.. The queso and guacamole and salsa were some of the best ones I've had. The portions are plentiful. Definitely give them a try. They add something new to the menu every so often, and They offer brunch as well.

This location was very close to where we were. It was the perfect time to try it! Ambiance: I really love the esthetics of the restaurant. The floral arrangements in the front is very inviting and added a great touch. I also loved the covered outdoor seating areas available, along with the indoor option. We surprisingly opted to sit outside, because heat is not my friend. The industrial fan definitely helped! I felt like I was sitting on one of friend's veranda in the carribean Food: I really enjoyed the food. Tacos are a la carte. For appetizer we opted for the Trifecta which came with guac, queso, and rojo salsa. Let me just say, their happy hour deals are a great steal! Order: There are a couple different ways to order & pay. Use the traditional way of having the server take our order by raising the card "Lets Taco Buddha it," or by scanning the QR code and placing order yourself & pay online. At first, I started the online order because I felt like this would allow me more time to read the menu and order on my own terms. I ended up raising my card and having someone take my order despite having it all in my cart. Tacos are served "family style" comes out on the same platter. We opted for the Baja ( battered pallock) & The Jodhpur (marinated grilled chicken). The kiddos opted for the quesadillas and fried chicken taco. Everything was flavorful (with the exception of their hot/mild sauces, those were flavorless, however not necessary to add). Not going to lie, I made a joke to my mom about the food being served on a surgical tray or "doggy platter." LOL lol. Service: They use a team model. I saw multiple staff going throughout the restaurant checking on needs & refilling water pitchers. Everyone was really nice, they had small toys for children to play with at the table and it's always a plus when they strike up a conversation with my kiddos. Parking: We arrived shortly after 4pm and there were lots of spots available. By the time we were leaving, there were two cars waiting for spots. It is also located alongside a busy street, the restaurant did get packed for dinner on a weekday. Pricing: Prices does add up very pretty quickly, however 1 Taco can be very filling especially if you opted for appetizers. The only thing I would have changed is not to order my meal the same time as my appetizer. It came out almost together. I would have liked to enjoyed the appetizers prior to my entrée.

It's been a few weeks since I had any pocket cash to go out to eat... so I decided to pick a food…read moresource at random for a Saturday afternoon, and I'm SO GLAD I did... You know how they say one of the best things about Mexico is the food? I have to admit, I would honestly wouldn't know and just have to trust the stories I've heard, as I've never been lucky enough to go to Mexico.... But all my life I've heard stories about people who go and basically remind you.. NEVER hit a restaurant for _authentic_ Mexican food. You want to hit the street vendors. Well, St. Louis has a fantastic surprise.. Now you can do that right here in the city! Part of a three-restaurant set up, Amigo Sole is the "street vendor" restaurant that's not on the street. (And having met the owner of the full set-up, I'm REALLY hoping i get invited to the grand opening of Jekyll & Hyde) As it was middle of the day Saturday, I didn't ask for anything alcoholic (so i don't know if the reviewer that asked for alcoholic beverages and was told they didn't have any was just unlucky or if it was true.) But I'll take a Mexican Coke over American Coke any day of the week (NO, get your minds out of the gutter.. not that powdered one!). Anyway, I went simple for a quick stop, and went with the Chicken Bomb. at the recommendation of the cashier and he was quick to name this one off.. (and always remember cashiers, have a favorite READY, so thumbs up to the cashier on this one!) . And then to my amazement.. no more than 5 minutes later, HOT, tasty, cheesy, chicken quesadilla style BOMB-diggity! (Ironically this one is not listed on the website menu, only the instore menu? Come on Sole, online is everything today :) ) Absolutely delicious food.. and absolutely messy too, as it literally would fall apart in my hands.. (HEY, that's a good thing!) As for the decor.. 100% true, as Amigo Sole definitely has SOUL! (and lots of soles!). Again Amigo Sole isn't designed to be a 'great sit down' restaurant, it's designed to be street-vendor FUN!!!! and with what decoration they have, it pulls it off fantastically in my opinion. So just based on my meal, what the owner told me about the Amigo Sole, you're getting EXACTLY what you're promised a Mexican street vendor serving fantastic Mexican street vendor food, only with a roof over your head the entire time. During the meal, met again (Who i believe to be) the owner of the store and talked with him about Amigo Sole and how amazing it was to me... and he told me about the three-restaurant combination. (And I apologize sir, but I completely forgot your name when we talked!). even mentioning they share three kitchens when it gets busy (so I was kinda lucky as i think the rain scared everyone out for the day), but I'm still hoping for the Jeckyll & Hyde invitation! (I'll even pretend to find a date if I have to for the upscale part!)
