I have been a patron of Lady Dee's for over 20 years and through the ups and downs of the economy, changes in ownership, and this pandemic, they have remained vigilant and consistent for their clientele. Originally, I was skeptical because I had tried everything to get my skin to clear up and eliminate the numerous scars I had without overdrying or causing my skin some major reaction. Knowing that I had 'special' skin, it was hard for me to trust anyone but I took my chance and I have been a loyal client since. Lady Dee, God rest her soul, the founder was a wiz at bringing on the right estiticians and they have all been amazing, each with their own style and special talents. They are all terrific...Roxanne, Mimi, Yalenna and Sharon. My most recent visit with Sharon was a bit daunting for me since I hadn't had any skin services performed since the pandemic. Moreover, I knew that I was in good hands. Of course, my skin needed a bit of recovery time afterward since it had been so long since I had a facial but my skin looked amazing! My skin turned out so much better than I thought was possible. I've actually been looking in the mirror often just to acknowledge how beautiful I feel with my skin looking so dewy, clean, clear, and youthful. Wonderful place ! I've had bad hyperpigmentation and sun damage since I was 16 years old. As an adult, I got frustrated at how bad my skin looked. I would wear pounds of makeup to cover all the acne, scarring and discolored areas. My dear friend, Chris, he got a facial from there and used their products recommended me to try it out. I'm so thankful he told me about this place. I had a facial with them and also used their products. All I can say is AH-MAZING! My skin has improved greatly. I would have never thought I would see my skin look great at this level. My confidence is back. I wear very little makeup and my fiancé is even shocked with the results. Prior to going to Lady Dees I was suffering from severe acne due to dry skin. I went in for a facial and Was told what moisturizer and facial Cleanser to use, my life changed that day. Awesome, Awesome , Awesome!!!!!! As an African american lady, I struggled a lot to find the right aesthetician. I went to different places before finding Lady Dees. She did my facials twice so far, every 4 weeks and my face is really NEAT. I mean everyone is asking me what I am using, What I am doing different.........I bought some products there as well that I use religiously twice a day. It can be a little expensive but SO WORTH IT...... My acne was bad and used to be controlled only by the birth control pills. But now, I have been off the pills for 3 months, and so far NO BREAKOUTS. I am still working on clearing the acne scars but have good hope it will be resolved soon as well. read more

I use to come here every month to see Roxy and during that time, my skin has never looked better (and it still doesn't). I drop by whenever I'm in the area to pick up some products. The staffs here are super friendly, especially Belen. She can always track down what I normally purchase so I can get in and out (street parking in LA is very limited and costly). In fact she was the reason why I decided to give this place a try during my consultation. Her skin always look so radiant and it glows. She's been here for over a decade. I will change my rating once I receive satisfactory service. I am beyond dissatisfied and more than disappointed with the last two orders I've placed with Lady Dees Spa. I'm shocked and in awe over the lack of quality customer service, after having been beyond ecstactic over their product and attention to the customer for more than 10 years. The last two times I ordered products, they were shipped to the wrong address - even after confirming the address in their system and over the telephone. It took me nearly two weeks to receive my product. This past Saturday I ordered skin product and was told it would be shipped out Monday. Out of the clear blue I decided to call them to see why I hadn't received my product yet. I live in San Diego. I was told by the lady answering the telephone that they are out of the product and there might be some available soon. Well that's not what I wanted to hear, especially since they'd already charged my credit card the cost of the product and shipping. This is not good business, nor is it good customer service. If you tell customers their product is being shipped and you discover you're out of the product they were promised, at least have the common courtesy to call the customers and let them know AND NEVER, EVER CHARGE THEIR CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU'RE OUT OF THE PRODUCT IN THE FIRST PLACE. The products are a bit pricey for me but everything works. the lady who helped me was sweet,straight to the point and loved making my skin come back to beautiful (she has a very heavy Russian accent)! When I went my skin was a mess from being treated by an Esthetician i will leave anonymous he burned my skin,bruised it,and left acne in places i never even had! I didn't know what to do. I was referred to Lady Dee years ago and I remember I never payed the skin spa any mind. I've been coming to lady Dee's since 2004. Diana is very attentive, knowledgeable a beautiful soul inside & out. Whenever I leave lady Dee's my skin is flawless. Yelena is extremely knowledgable as well & both she and Diane are the best, especially when it comes to corrective skincare. I overheard a conversation Yelena was having with a young man, as I was laying on the bed in Yelena's room. The young man said he was referred by a dermatologist. In addition to that he mentioned he had been on acutane & nothing has helped. He wasn't very nice at all. Infact he said some really mean things to Yelena. I came here for a procedure that my dermatologist recommended (and which he had already begun) and the aesthetician took one look at me and brusquely refused to perform the recommended procedure. She recommended every other treatment under the sun without asking me my medical history. If she had discussed this with me, she would have known that the dermatologist and I settled on this because we had already exhausted the other options with little effect. I called this spa ( more like a dump!) because I heard they have been around for a while so when i called to schedule over the phone the receptionist wasn't very friendly but that didn't really bother me, so on the day of my appointment I got their and no one was there. I had a 10am appt. and they didn't show up until 10:15. I thought well this is unprofessional but still excited about getting a facial. The rooms were awful, it was a very out dated place with old equipment the whole experience was rough the facialist was rude, their products broke my skin out, I tried to return the products the next day and the receptionist assured me she would have the manager return my call and it never happened, I followed up 3 days straight and still nothing. Although Lady Dee has passed away, they have recently re-opened her Corrective Skin Care and Day Spa! It's in a slightly different location - but still on Robertson! only a few minutes away from where it used to be. Belen is still around and happy to accommodate. I recently went by to get all of the products I love and have missed (they have everything in stock, including the special "magic" pink face lotion). I went here a few years ago to correct my acne. It was recommended by a friend. The facility is very spa like with the music and the smell and everyone was real cool. The lady who gave me a consult let me know the program for me which included, extractions, facials, and gave me the products in the place. All very expensive by the way. I went through the treatment because I thought since it was highly recommended it would work. Not only did it not work but because the size of the cleansers and moisturizers are so small you run out and you have to buy more. Also, they tell you you need to come back every either couple weeks or months to stay on the regimen. Its to get money from you only. The products did not work whatsoever and when I came back weeks later without the results the aestechian couldn't really say much but it takes time and to not miss regular appointments. The only thing that did work was the chemical peel. But that is dangerous because you cant wash your face for 3 days and you cant be in the sun. Place is not worth it! read more

I called her office to ask a question about some other products and just had the MOST WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! HOWARD is the best phone consultant I've ever talked to! I have patronized Lady Dee's in the past for facial peels and facials, and have always been delighted and impressed with the results and service. Well, all that changed during my return visits this year! The customer service had deteriorated so badly. After my visit back in February, while the peel was impressive as always, all that the staff appeared to be concerned with is money, and never returned any of my follow-up calls. Nevertheless, I made another peel appointment in September, which the receptionist confirmed a day before the procedure. On the day of my peel, an hour before appointment, I suddenly received a call and message that my peel would need to be cancelled, as they did not have the 'materials' for the peel. Mind you, I had to travel some distance from my home to the salon. Understandably, I was upset and flabbergasted that I was not contacted earlier before I had to make that long journey. I can only describe the customer service at Lady Dee's as arrogant and and condescending. I have spent my last dollar at that establishment!
