We had a great food , the falafel is one of the best things in town . The server Janet was wonderful professional and likable . Highly recommend the restaurant .

Beautiful hotel and excellent restaurant! They have a good happy hour as well with food and drinks and is worth checking out. The space is classy and the service is very professional. Our group was pleasantly surprised overall and enjoyed each of our dishes. The Mezze platter is wonderful to share and has classic Middle Eastern flavors. We really enjoyed the Olive Oil Cake too and was also very shareable.

Located inside the Kimpton La Peer, you will find Ladyhawk which is truly such a nice resteraunt. We were staying for the weekend for weho pride and saw the hotel had a Mediterranean resteraunt so we had to check it out for dinner. Service was on point here, from the hostess to the server and the table waiters, it was really great service. Menus had a nice variety which we appreciated. We decided to get a few appetizers and a round of cocktails. We tried the Za'tar Man'oushe and the mini mezze. They were both fantastic. The quality of the food was superb here. Then we found out the owener of the resteraunt won top chef so I can defenitly see why this place was so good. The cocktails we ordered were also so good! Overall, I will defenitly be back again. Honestly would have to rate my experience a 9 out of 10. Defenitly if your in the area, check them out! Thanks Ladyhawk for the great dinner, till next time.

This restaurant is high energy, lots of friend groups sharing plates! We arrived hungry and fully overdid it. We tried hummus, carrots, shrimp, tabbouleh, octopus and potatoes. Yes there were only 4 of us haha - note that we did not stop there. Favorites from this for me were the carrots and shrimp and hummus was sooo creamy. The homemade pita arrives fresh and burning hot and the crudite was crisp and fresh. We also had the Za'atar Man'oushe which was pure heaven. The chicken with garlic sauce was heaven as well. Only the Wagyu was meh. We wished we got the whole fish. We were gluttons and overall impressed with the vibe, the food and the service too!

I came here with my friend for dinner, and I'm so happy that we went. I'd first heard about Ladyhawk from Top Chef, the chef/owner having been a participant. The restaurant is in the La Peer hotel in West Hollywood. Immediately walking into the space, the ambiance is just beautiful. It felt spacious and warm. You feel welcome which isn't always the case when you try nicer restaurants. Just a heads up. It's West Hollywood, so parking can be a pain. We split several dishes among us. Beetroot hummus: This was my favorite dish of the evening. Beets can be sweet, but the hummus also had dill and tahini to make this a sweet and savory dish. Babaghanouj: We devoured this dish. It was so good, especially on pita. Fattoush: The dish itself was delightful, and was a nice addition to our carb heavy meal. Octopus: I believe our server mentioned that the octopus is marinated for 2 days, and then grilled over a bed of crispy potatoes. This was my other favorite dish, though I wish we had ordered it earlier in the meal since I was pretty full by the end of the meal. I would 10/10 recommend that everyone try Ladyhawk. The food, the service, the atmosphere. It doesn't get much better.

Who knew the Boutique pocket La Peer Hotel was tucked away on a nondescript side street in WeHo a block from the daily grind of Pubs and Clubs? Just off the Lobby Ladyhawk patiently awaits for the booths to fill and the diners to chill. A happy Hostee greets you like an old college roomie who knew all your secrets. The dining room is a long slice of muted tones and soft lighting anchored by an open buzzin' Kitchen that is larger than the one at the Pentagon. The music loop is Lebanese lite that gently sets the mood for food. The Bar: Complex and complete. Signature cocktails that will have you scratching your head and hitting Safari to find out exactly what you might be drinking. There is a substantial carefully curated Wine List with interesting and unusual choices. Taste a few before you plunge. The House will offer you a healthy pour to try and then decide. You could sample two, eat a Pita, leave a Benjie and bolt, full as a tick. The Staff: As crisp as their black uniforms. Janet, my Server, was enthusiastic, bright, personable, delightful and charming. She genuinely enjoyed caring for her guests and was committed to making sure everyone in her section had an experience that was sure to have them returning. You'll never have to ask for more water, clean plates, or extra napkins, as it all just arrives when needed without needing to snap your fingers at the passing Runner. Who's in the house? As Ladyhawk is in the LA Peer Hotel can you guess where the Concierge send guests who ask for a dining suggestion? And there are the Top Cheffies who followed Chef Charbel all the way to the final showdown. The Food: Sublime is just a choice away. There are no mistakes in this kitchen. Ladyhawk is a love poem to the Lebanon, now lost, that existed before the troubles. The cuisine here is elegant and sophisticated even if it is something familiar. Za'Atar Man'oushe is a Lebanese Pizza. Here the dough is fermented for 48 hours and served with Wild Thyme. (So, for a Wild Thyme order a Man'oush to stretch out your tummy and your tush). Little caps of creamy Herbs and Labneh like Hersey Kisses dotted the top in a pattern. The Hummus is whisked together with Bits of Roasted Beets, Chickpeas, and Tahini. It was a bowl of throbbing day glow hot pink with a sprig of fresh Dill to make it just perfect. A tickle of heat will wink at you from a distance. The Babaghanouj is charred mashed Eggplant, Tahini, Lemon, and Yogurt that also has a slow crawl of lingering spice. A sprinkle of Pomegranate Arils added a sweet crunch. The short stack of warm Pita for taking a full scoop of the dips is a blessing to your lips. The Falafel is easy to make and easier to make poorly. It's often so dried out you'd be better advised to nibble on a Hockey Puck. And a bad Falafel will make you feel awful into the bargain. These perfectly formed crispy, crunchy, herby cakes are truly Mana from Heaven. They are served with a velvety Tahini Sauce, fresh Mint Leaves, and Halved Cherry Tomatoes all of which fits neatly, well almost neatly, into your Pita. And if you don't have the Sauce all over your shirt, you're eating it wrong so dive in. These Falafel should be offered by the bucket. Tabouleh Salad with micro chopped Parsley, Mint, Tomato, Quinoa, and Lemon is definitely not first date food. You are guaranteed clingers wedged in between your implant, bridge and capped front teeth. But, it is so good it's worth making a bad impression. The Rainbow Carrots in Hot Honey, Za'Atar, Labneh and Roasted Almonds was the Home Run. Brilliant . Were there slivers of Medjool Dates mixed in? I'll bet you my last LBP there were. The Batata Harra also must be ordered. They were thrice fried cubes of Potato with Garlic, Cilantro and Chilis. It is Ladyhawk Crack. Eat all you can and then take the rest home to top with Eggs al gusto for breakfast. Finally, the Whole Dourade was magic. A spatchcocked boneless filet with dots of Zhoug (Hot Sauce), and Labneh. You can't wish for a better fish and be rewarded with one this good. Australian Wagyu Picanha Schwama with Tomato, Parsley, Tahini, and Pickled Onions in a Pita would cause a Vegan to cancel their membership in PETA. Ladyhawk...I'm gonna stalk you so keep an Eagle eye out for me.

We celebrated my husband's birthday here tonight. What a treat! The food is amazing. The best fattoush salad I've ever had. The wagyu shawarma was so flavorful and juicy and the dorado fish was perfectly grilled. We really enjoyed the mezze platter as well. Wonderful service, very attentive. The ambience was perfect. You can have an intimate dinner here or bring a big group of friends -- both work! We had a small intimate family birthday celebration in a beautiful setting, and it was perfect.

Had to come to Charbel Hayek's Ladyhawk, as it is his first-ever restaurant and one of the hottest restaurants in Los Angeles! Reservations were surprisingly not too difficult to get, which can be a bit of a rarity in this city. Ordered quite a bit. For appetizers, we had the mezze platter, taboleh, za'atar man'oushe, and octopus. The standout had to be the mezze platter, which basically is every single mezze on the menu. Very authentic and perfect for our party of six people! The za'atar man'oushe was interesting as well, as it is Lebanese flatbread that is kind of like pizza. For our entrées, we had that dry-aged Rohan duck, Australian wagyu sirloin shawarma, and a whole darude. They were all good, but surprisingly my favorite had to be the darude. Lastly, we ended up having all three desserts: mango muhalabieh, strawberry cream top, and pistachio baklava. The mango muhalabieh is easily the most photogenic, but the strawberry cream top was my favorite. Service was great here! Our server was really nice and made sure that we ordered the right amount of food. And in fact, we had only ordered two desserts in the first place, but we were gifted the third dessert anyways. Appreciate it! Ambience is realy nice. Very modern looking with high ceilings. Felt very comfortable in here. Parking is a bit of a challenge since it is located in the heart of West Hollywood. It is located at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel, so street parking around here is tough. There is valet parking for $20 at the hotel as well, just let them know you're going to Ladyhawk.

Beautiful dinner and setting - super tasteful aesthetic with a vibe, friendly service and great food and drinks, perfect for a group dinner. Started with the large platter - generous portions of all the dips and a stack of pita - both hummus' were great and the baba ghanoush. Nice selection and plenty for everyone (we were a group of 6) fattoush was ok - smaller if ordering to share between a larger group and didn't taste as fresh and crunchy as I would have liked, chicken and tenderloin mini skewers were both good. We also added the special bread dish which is sort of a pizza style flat bread - pretty good I thought it was a little over hyped. All the apps sounded great and would love to go back and try more, nice varied menu. Mains - we ordered the duck - lovely and crispy and sweet - good portion for sharing, the wagyu steak - loved this - juicy with a delicious sauce smear, and the crusted rack of lamb - I'm not a big fan of lamb and these were delicious - must get, perfectly cooked and seasoned with a tasty crust, for a larger group I would add a few sides to this order - maybe some veggies for the perfect order. They also have great drink and cocktail selection, quality liquor bar, desserts were unusual - liked that the menu wasn't just the standard dishes you expect. Banana milk honey tasty with coffee ice cream and the olive oil cake was my favourite, comes with a delicious tangy marmalade topping perfectly candied oranges and herbs, great.

    How is the patio seating?

I plan to come back again to try it a few more times and update my review accordingly. This place reminds me of a fast food/Chipotle-style eatery, but serves Mediterranean food instead. You order the type on entree you want (Shawarma, kabob, schnitzel, koobideh - pita, plate or wrap style) or a la carte with the sides. Each Pita/Wrap/Plate comes with your choice of rice or couscous, 4 sides, and 2 half pitas. 1. Beef Shawarma Plate (4.5/5) The beef is cooked on the famously known Middle Eastern vertical rotisserie for well-balanced roasting. I can taste a bit of the Middle Eastern spices used in the seasoning of the meat. The beef was sliced very thinly, was not dry, and portions were reasonable. It was delicious to eat on its own, when mixed with couscous, and when used as filling in the pita wrap. Comes with 2 sides of dressing. The white color dressing (not sure what it is) was bitter, which I was not a fan of. However, the spice tahini sauce was very good and very mild in heat. It had a light tartness to it that gave additional flavor to the dish. *Tabouli salad (5/5) This is a traditional Middle Eastern salad consisting of fresh finely chopped parsley, mint, tomatoes, and green onions, with bulgur wheat and mixed with lemon-olive oil dressing. The parsley flavor was robust and the salad overall was fresh and refreshing. *Side of Beets (5/5) - fresh and crunchy. I hate preparing beets on my own at home due to their staining effects, so when I can get it fresh at a restaurant, it's my go-to. It is packed with fiber, micronutrients and nitrates, which helps to lower blood pressure, inflammation and improve athletic endurance by improving blood flow. Beets pair well with hummus and Tabouli salad. *Hummus (5/5) - I personally found their house-made hummus to be quite good. It was creamy, very smooth in texture (no grainy-ness at all), and had a strong chickpea nutty flavor profile. It has the perfect consistency to eat on its own, to mix with your meat and couscous, or to use as a base for your pita wrap. Minus half a star only because staff were not very friendly. They spoke very softly, which required me to ask them several times to repeat, so that was a bit annoying.

We made a reservation on their website which offered options later than what we chose. We chose 10pm. Upon arrival the host was having a conversation with another host and an employee. They didn't acknowledge us and we had to interrupt saying we had a reservation and gave the name on our reservation. They continued the conversation and didn't even make eye contact with us. The host grabbed menus and said right this way, still holding that conversation. We were seated and waited 11 minutes before the waitress came. She came and was not friendly at all. She explained that the kitchen and bar was closing and we needed to put everything in now. Which if we would have known from the very start we would have just went somewhere else, but they also charge your card to book a reservation. We put in our drinks and what we wanted to eat. She explained we would need to order multiple drinks now if we wanted them otherwise the bar is also closed. I've never been to an establishment where the bar closes at the same time as the kitchen. So we got two drinks each (of the same drink). We got one appetizer before the drinks came out. Half way through eating the drinks arrived, but we were confused why we got sent both of the drinks at the same time. We were under the impression we would order them and once we got the first one and tried it they would bring the other shortly after. My drink was horrible and tasted like a desert that was served with stale churros. The other two drinks were watered down already and it was frustrating feeling like you need to chug your drinks.. this is an upscale restaurant not a bar. We asked to talked to the manager and the server came instead to see what the issue was. We explained our confusion and expressed that we have never had drinks come at the same time, typically you order it, but you wait to bring the next one out since it'll water down or if you don't like it now you can't cancel it. I also explained to her I didn't like my drink and now I have two of them with stale churros before I even have a meal. She offered my partners second drink to me instead of offering another drink and took away my drinks + the churros. The manager came and immediately had said that he heard we were unhappy with the drinks, they're closing and he would comp them no problem, didn't ask us what was wrong or give us time to speak and was trying to walk away.... I interjected and said we should have been told by the host you were closing otherwise we wouldn't have sat down. My partner also interjected and said that there was later times on the reservation so it didn't make sense. The manager blamed the company and said they have been asking for online to be updated because it does not reflect their hours, but they won't fix it. I explained regardless of an online issue it should have been addressed by the host and those 11 minutes waiting we could have already had a drink. He had nothing more to say and rushed off which was also frustrating to not be heard at all. We kept waiting for our food. It was now almost midnight we were waiting for 40 minutes. I have watched our surrounding and noticed other waitresses still serving couples their drinks after we had been told the bar was closed. I also noticed no one else was being rushed out the way we were. The manager came up and said they forgot to put in the food and tossed a business card on the table stating the next time it was on him and to not worry about it and expressed he was sorry, but was still rushing away. Mind you other people were still enjoying their drinks and sitting. So we left with no food and wasted over an hour of our time since we do not live in the Hollywood area and drove specifically for this restaurant. It was too late to get a reservation anywhere else and we ended up having to get fast food. Overall ambiance is excellent, however not worth it. I think restaurants get too much hype online then stop trying to give excellent customer service.
