The staff was friendly and attentive, and the place was clean and well-kept. There was also a nice view of the ocean from the windows, which added to the experience. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey in my opinion. I paid around $30 for my meal, but I still think it was worth it because you can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients. Today we got the cinnamon roll, but the peanut butter cookie, croissant, or any bagel on the menu is great (there are also vegan or gluten free options if that's your thing). They have so many pastries to choose from and you literally can't go wrong with any of them. It's a small inside but they have a few seats inside and they have plenty seats outside as well. I wasn't in much of a mood to explore so I decided to go with an iced caramel latte, which they were able to make half caffeinated and with oat milk. My boyfriend ordered the hot maple cinnamon latte, and the barista said that it was her favorite drink! Our drinks were prepared quickly and we noticed that there was a bar with creamer, sweeteners, and spices like nutmeg. We tried the caramel latte, which was very impressive-- sometimes caramel has the tendency to be too sweet. However, this latte combined the strong but not overpowering flavor of caramel with the rich, smooth flavor of the espresso. We tried the maple cinnamon latte next, which we both enjoyed even more! We are strong believers that anything with a maple flavoring is superior, and this drink did not disappoint. Although many cinnamon lattes tend to be bitter and powdery due to the dryness of cinnamon, the maple flavoring meshed extremely well with both the cinnamon powder and espresso. It was somehow creamier than the caramel latte! My visit to Laguna Coffee made a positive impact on the end of my vacation to Laguna Beach, I am grateful! read more

Cute little coffee spot with a small line it was pretty busy! They even had a DJ out front which made it a fun vibe. I stopped by after jogging Thousand Steps Beach and ordered the bulletproof coffee. It was so good! I was a little bummed when I got my coffee that I didn't get one of their logo cups....I collect them so I got excited when I saw it, but I didn't want to bother anyone to ask to replace it. They have a decent selection of alternative milks, and while I ventured to try a hemp latte, I must say the hemp milk was not my favorite. However their pastry case more than compensated, and the cherry almond bar was a winner, which would also make for an excellent trail snack. Prices are more than I'd want to pay, but not surprising for the location. Nice little outdoor patio but minimal indoor seating.
