OMG!!!!!! I love this place to death!!!! If you're a sucker for Vietnamese coffee but can't do regular milk, this is the place for you. They have oat milk which is a great creamy alternative in your LVTC. The iced Neapolitan VTM is also a delicious treat. My boys loved the lychee peach black tea and the Yuzu mango matcha. Love that they're on DoorDash too!!! Yummmmm!!!
I thought the vietnamese iced coffee would be diluted and not strong. Boy was I surprised! The VTM was the perfect taste of a vietnamese coffee. I am so happy with my drink! The cold foam was definitely a good addition to it. Very quick and nice service as well.

Loved their cup that said "sleep is overrated" I got the matcha ein...the matcha thingy with the foam. It was incredible!! My husband got the vietnamese coffee version and really loved it. My mom got the spanish latte and she enjoyed it! My dad got the regular viet coffee & slurped it down so i say that was a winner too. The girl behind the counter was friendly and answered our questions. The drinks came out quickly. Very clean but smaller space so i would say more to go than hang out. Good amount of parking. I would definitely visit this location again!

We both got a large iced Vietnamese coffee and absolutely loved them. It was is so creamy, strong yet sweet. They have the perfect mixture. The price was a bit high but every cafe is nowadays. The workers were nice and my drink came out so fast. The inside is cute and clean, but very limited seating and it was busy for a Sunday. Definitely going to come back!!
Went on a Friday around 2pm and there wasn't a lot of people! Service was amazing; big shoutout to the two girls helping us and being so friendly. I ordered the matcha einspanner and it tasted great. My friend ordered a lychee black tea and it was so refreshing, especially after a hike we went on earlier. The only mishap was that the worker may have misheard my order of a matcha einspanner for the Vietnamese einspanner, so I had to ask them for the matcha instead. The workers remade my drink and even gave us the Vietnamese einspanner! What a wonderful experience; we'll definitely be going again!
Came here to try their matcha latte since they use Uji Matcha which is one of the highest grades of matcha from Japan. The matcha powder does come from Uji, Japan and is made from young tea leaves. I haven't tried this grade before but I loved it. It made me have lots of energy throughout the day (very slow burn energy). They do offer a regular and large size which I liked. Usually a lot of coffee places have one size only so I appreciate the multiple sizes they offer. There is parking in front of the store and in front of Pavilions which is next door. The matcha latte was sweet but also left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth which I enjoyed. I also love gardening and they had free coffee grounds to help garden which was so nice and cute. Definitely promotes eco-friendliness. Also no pets are allowed inside!
I love the look of the inside of this place. It was so cute very modern and aesthetic. The drinks are so delicious and the workers were so kind. I got the Spanish latte and my friend got the chai latte and they were so delicious 10 out of 10 would recommend I would definitely come back.
Great coffee and service! There was a long line when we came but the line was quick. After ordering it only took around 10 minutes to get the coffee. The restaurant is smaller with no indoor seating so it's more of a take out style. But there are outdoor seating when it's warmer. I got an iced vanilla latte w/ oatmilk. It was really good! I would definitely go here again. .
I was looking for a fun spot to grab coffee from and then go walk around the beach. Blk Dot coffee perfectly did the trick! They were busy the Saturday morning I went, but we were able to snag a parking spot out front. They have a great location right off the main road. I opted for a matcha and could visibly see the baristas making it fresh as I ordered. It was delicious! They also have an assortment of shirts/coffee supplies to purchase. It's decorated so cute inside. I'll be checking this spot out again when I'm in the area!
Love this coffee chain! My favorite drink is the Vietnamese Einspänner--it's the perfect balance of bold coffee and just the right amount of sweetness. The rich, sweet cold foam on top takes it to the next level. The location is another reason I keep coming back. You can't beat enjoying your coffee with an ocean view. Parking can be a little tricky during busy times, but it's absolutely worth it. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots! read more
This was the closest place we found that offered Vietnamese coffee in the area, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, it definitely felt like we got the Gen Z stare. The store clerks weren't rude, but they also didn't seem particularly welcoming. My husband and I both ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee, expecting it to be freshly brewed and made to order. Instead, we were surprised to see it poured straight from a milk jug, already premade. The coffee itself was overly sweet and honestly tasted like prepackaged Lee's Coffee. Staff were so friendly and gave a great drink recommendation. Next time I'm in the area or near a Blk Dot I'll definitely be stopping by. Next time I'd definitely order with vanilla cold foam instead of sea salt but it was still really tasty! read more

My boyfriend and I were walking past and I decided I wanted to try it again because I remembered their Vietnamese coffee was amazing here. It was seriously as good as I remember if not better. Great little breakfast spot I found on Yelp. Came for the avocado toast however when I got here I changed my mind and had the Ultimate Beezer Bowl sling with a caramel latte with oatmilk. I'm usually a big blk dot fan but ngl I was kinda disappointed today. My go to is always their iced vtm and it always tastes great but I got my drink and there was a good amount of space at the top (pictures included). I understand it's kind of a stupid thing cause I'm assuming they usually just add more ice but it's still disappointing cause you're not getting your full cup of coffee (I barely touched my lips to the one on the right of the pictures and look how under filled it is). And on top of that, just look at the hot honey toast. It has the thinnest slices of half an avocado and cost $13. Like ok yes inflation but their toast used to be so good and piled with mashed avocados and veggies what happened. Now it's literally a piece of toasted bread with a little bit of avocado, bacon, and honey so you're definitely overpaying. Baristas and the vibes are still great no complaints there but the food definitely isn't as great as before :/ read more

Blkdot is my favorite place to buy peach iced tea! This is the third location that I've tried in OC and it's just as good as the ones in Irvine. They have a wide selection of drinks from Vietnamese iced coffee to Thai iced tea to Lychee Peach iced tea, which is seriously the best! This location is conveniently located near Laguna Beach with a small one way parking lot but additional parking can be found next door at the grocery store lot. This location has great service, friendly staff, clean storefront, and has consistently great drinks. PRO TIP: Order your read without chia seeds, they aren't soaked prior just raw so they end up feeling a little crunchy or sandy when you drink them. They have a small seating area with umbrellas outside that is shared with the other shops in the plaza. read more
This did it for me. I actually like their Vietnamese coffee but after my third experience all the same I won't ever come back to blk dot coffee. I ask for light ice for a coffee over $8 because if I just wanted ice or a sip of coffee on ice I sure as heck wouldn't pay $8 for it. I pay the price and I at least want my one damn expensive cup of iced coffee that's mostly creamer and still ice. The cherry on top is the gap they leave because of light ice. And God forbid you ask anyone working at 3 different locations they are trained to apparently not ever give you a drop more to fill that gap. I don't know if they threaten to take it out of their paychecks but this is making Starbucks look like heaven. It's ludicrous with the prices they charge that they are so stingy with their coffee. My 2 kids got their $7 teas and finished before we even got out of the parking lot since it was ALL ice!! Are we nuts to keep supporting bougie businesses because they are in affluent areas up charging everyone like nuts for flavored ice!!! Not my money and not my patronage. There are too many places that make good coffee and are not so stingy and trying to give you overpriced flavored ice! NO THANK YOU!! read more

A GREAT WAY TO END My girlfriend and I decided to start out our last day in Laguna at Blk Dot Coffee. I ordered the iced uji matcha latte and my girlfriend ordered the iced VTmatcha. I also ordered the Ham and Cheese croissant. The matcha latte is as expected from what you would find at any other cafe. My current favorite is coffee bean's matcha with oat milk. It's rather indulgent so that is my measure. The VTmatcha came in strong with nuts but I limited myself to just a taste to avoid spiking my caffeine. I am confident that whatever you choose will satisfy you but that's not why you should visit. I will share the real reason you should come next. The beauty of this location is its proximity to Divers cove and Fisherman's cove beaches. A 5-10 minute had us arriving at the water's edge. The morning crispness was still in the air and we shared the beach with only a few dog owners. Enjoying our drinks with this backdrop made this an experience I will not forget and long to repeat. I can't wait for the next time I can grab a drink and walk down to savor it on the pacific. LOGISTICS We parked at the Pavilion parking lot. There was signage that stated parking was only for the market and you would be towed. This seemed like an acceptably low level of risk. But you will need to cross that bridge. There is a small parking lot located at the store itself. But the lot itself is small, and if you plan on walking to the beach I do not think it would be considerate to leave your car for a prolonged time given the size. Wow. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is phenomenal! Very strong and perfectly sweet. Price is about average compared to coffee shops with Vietnamese coffee. I will definitely be back. Their almond croissant is alright. It's a bit dry, could be fluffier and more buttery. Good amount of almond paste in there and almonds on top. I definitely suggest their Vietnamese iced coffee. Really liked the taste of the Vietnamese coffee here! Ordered online ahead of time which is good because it looked pretty busy and service was a little bit slow. Nice spot of coffee. I got a cappuccino as usual. It was good. Kinda or natural taste. There is only 2 tables for dine in so it's possible that u won't be able to find a place if u want to work there. Parking is easy, just in front. Stuff and service are cool and nice. Went here for a coffee break. Gotten the light Vtm frappe. I love it. There's a nutty taste to it. And coffee is strong enough. The sweetness is perfect as well. The barista is extremely helpful when ordering. I asked to see if I can adjust sweetness. From what I have known, Vietnamese coffee usually have set ratio on the ingredients, sweetness and coffee level. So I was really glad that he tried his best to think of any ingredients that he can possibly adjust to mild down the sugar level and asked if that would be acceptable for us. The service is just excellent. There was a miscommunication in between staffs so one of the barista have forgotten to make my drink and started to chatted with others so I had to waited extra five minutes for her to be reminded that my drink is missed. I was not in a rushed so I thought a simple verbal apology for the inconvenience would have been enough. I would also be okay without it. After all, it's Sunday and the store traffic is slow so it's understandable to be slightly laid back. After I walked out and sat at the dining table to enjoy my coffee. The staff brought out a regular size Vietnamese coffee on the house to apologize for the long wait. Truly appreciate the awesome management and customer service. The coffee here is so delicious. My friend came up with an amazing concoction, an iced oat milk latte with brown sugar syrup. Try it, it is absolutely amazing! It's pretty strong coffee, a perfect way to start the day. The pastries look amazing, although I didn't try them, the croissants were huge and looked so delicious. I did try the breakfast bahn mi, it was delicious and definitely something different. If you like a Bahn mi you should try it for sure. One of my favorite stops when I go out to Laguna! read more
BLKdot is consistently good! Over the years, we've tried the Vietnamese coffee (get the light version--it's plenty sweet), the mocha, the iced latte, and the salted coffee (very salty-in the best way). All have been fantastic. Today, I finally caved and bought the $11 Hot Honey Avocado toast. While I won't go as far as to say it was worth every penny, it was simply delicious. Thick bread, plenty of avocado, crispy bacon, and that honey oil is delicious. We'll be back! read more
