I'm from San Diego so very picky about my Mexican food. It was good, but I wouldn't order a carne asada burrito again. I expected the burrito to have carne asada, pico, and guacamole. But it had carne asada, rice and beans. I didn't like the marinade on the carne asada. I did love the side of rice, beans and the salsa bar. I wanted a horchata but they were out. My sister ordered the chimichanga and loved it. Parking sucked. There was construction and no where to park. I just wanted to do a quick pick up and parked next door which isn't their lot. This little Mexican spot in Laguna Beach, just off PCH across from the Women's Club, is a gem. It's small but comfortable, very clean, and the service was great. I tried the carne asada crispy taco and beef enchilada (usually I go chicken, but the cashier recommended beef and it was spot on). Flavorful, fresh, and reasonably priced. Plus they offer a salsa bar with several options and pickled onions/jalapeños which went well with my food. The salsas are actually tasty instead of just being spicy. Hands down the best Mexican food I've had in California. Laguna Feast is tucked away off the beaten path, but super easy to find on St. Ann's. The atmosphere is what you'd expect for a surf side Mexican joint, it's quaint and feels like you're in a family spot. The outside patio is lovely and has plenty of space, which was quite nice to sit. I got the taco combination and WOW. The flavors were amazing, tacos were crunchy, and rice and beans hot and delicious. The best part was ordering the chips and guacamole. If you're considering getting a starter, such as the chips and guacamole or cheese dip, JUST DO IT! My wife had the fish tacos and she didn't say a single word the entire meal, which is saying something. The best part was the service. From the second we walked in to the minute we left, we felt looked after and taken care of. Sometimes when you're sitting outside it's easy for staff to forget about you, but they came and checked on us multiple times, for a place that you order at the counter. Awhile ago I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and got to work, which was 3 minutes away, and the burrito was cold! The cheese wasn't even melted!! Today I thought I'd give it another chance and the burrito was warmer but the cheese still wasn't melted!! Both times the cheese was still shredded! Stumbled upon what was a yummy set of delicious Mexican goodness for the night of what this was in Laguna with my best girlfriend! We were around the area and just wanted somewhere low key and yummy and that's exactly what we found here as it was kinda dead on this night as well as just mellow for all that it was. Enchiladas just sounded good for the night so it was two cheese and one each of the chicken and beef pretty much they were just standard to enchiladas you find just about anywhere but still very yummy and I must say quite filling as there was a pile of rice and beans on the side to go with those enchiladas so you definitely get a good amount of food. The salsa bar is usually where it's at as that's definitely the case here as you can get some yummy salsas I am always down for some avocado salsa as that's basically green gold of flavor goodness no matter what you add it too! They offer Yelp Cashback here which is always a pleasant surprise when you get that email almost immediately saying so which in this case I didn't even know! Overall our food was good the place was mellow and who knows when and if I'll come back here but it's definitely not out of the question on those Laguna nights! read more

My son and I were in Laguna Beach for an appointment and went to Laguna Feast on a recommendation from a friend. A small local place that I have passed so many times without really noticing the restaurant both my son and I looked forward to eating there when walking up so Laguna Feast crowded and with a small line waiting to order. Prices were so reasonable for Laguna Beach and the portions were large. I ordered a Carne Asdada Burrito and a chicken taco and my son ordered the chicken fajita. We both enjoyed our selections but after a taste of my son's fajita I think I should have gotten that. The fajita was full of flavor and very good. Both my burrito and taco were ok, but was just lacking in flavor and the burrito was a little "mushy" with the amount of beans inside. I think we both are willing to go back to Laguna Feast but maybe make a trip to Adolfo's or La Sirena Grill before going back again. read more
