Caught Gravity Guild at Lake Alice Trading Company, and they absolutely crushed it! Their energy was electric, and they had the whole place rocking from start to finish. The setlist was killer & You can tell these guys love what they do, and it shows in every song they play. If you get a chance to see them live, don't miss it! I've gone here before and it's chill. Usually I'm with some friends and usually we just chill, shoot some billiards and drink (I give it 3 stars). However, Another buddy wanted to check it out to eat and drink. I wouldn't recommend unless you like to wait for your any service and eat lower than mid food for higher than mid prices lol. This is my favorite spot in downtown Riverside. The vibe is very chill. It's not a super dive bar, but it's definitely not like the surrounding bars downtown which all have this club-like feel to them. Live music Friday & Saturday nights is a blast too! The food is bomb, portions are a good size and everything is reasonably priced. The main reason I come here though is because the service is great! My favorite server Shelby moved to bartender a few months ago and she is great! My husband and l walked into place to grab a beer at the bar. We waited for 5 -10 minutes at the bar to be served. The bartender serviced the people walking up to the bar before us. I asked her why the others walking up to the bar get beets before we got seated? The bartender said because they were here before us. The thing is that we didn't get serviced before the others walking up to the bar. I guess the more money paid to tbe bartender for drinks gets serviced first for service or drinks. Lake Alice is hands down the best bar in all of Downtown Riverside!!!! The place has such yummy food, good portions, a fun loving staff, and great music/entertainment. Like I said best bar to go to any day of the week down there and has continued to keep the same unique charm and lively atmosphere that leaves you wanting to go back again. (The pool tables upstairs and downstairs are the perfect touch as well; so much fun) Also if you have the pleasure of being taken care of by Shelby you're really in for a treat. My first time here, i must say i'd be back! Service was great! our server was very attentive but didn't bug and brought request back fast. Ambiance is nice the band is bad a$$!! I really enjoyed the music they played old school and i loved all their selections! i want to come back with my tias & tio. Dancing and private parties are available. Restrooms are clean and huge, thank you for that! one of the guitarist would go in the crowd and get down which was awesome! he's cool! the entire band is very talented can't wait to come back. the food looked delicious but my opinion was the Ahi Poke was not so great i wouldn't order it again. The wonton gets soggy i like the concept but maybe cut the wontons like nachos i know that's a famous dish pry due to sogginess juices create when sitting on the wonton chip. the Ahi can have more flavors over all it's okay . my husband got flautas and he enjoyed , i took a bite and it was good. the beer was nice and cold . First of all, GO NINERS!! As a Bay Area native, this place feels even better than some bars back home we used to go to. We are always upstairs during the Niner games. We appreciate the Riverside 49ers who host every game day, supporting and cheering on our favorite team! Service is great, such helpful, friendly and patient servers (Deion stands out the most). The bar upstairs can get pretty slow but you cant blame them, with a huge crowd, even the best bartenders cant do it all. Now, during this pandemic, the manager, Baron, set up the TV, tables and chairs outside in the back alley for us 49er faithful fans. He even cut the bush that was in the way of the TV on the spot! Huge thank you for that! This place exceeds my expectations in what a sports bar/restaurant should be. Service is great, the food is also BOMB. Their wings are cooked to perfection! Terrible place to go for the night, bouncers outside on friday night are very aggressive, if you dont like your job you should go be misearable somewhere else. The security at entrance dont say anything to me about where to pay, first they tell me aggressively is 10 bucks okay whatever do I pay here and i pull out the money ready to pay, then I wait for my friends to get past them and the white boy security guys pushes and yells at me to go forward, okay no need to be rude to valued customers, I hope management sees this and take action, felt very disrespected by those white boys on friday night. first time going there and first time bar hoping in downtown and I did not like the service at all at this spot, not worth it Too many old geezers Staff dont care if you were in line for a drink first, so automatically they skipped over me twice, never going here again! This is a fun casual place with a saloon style bar, brick walls, 2 story ceilings, pool tables, arcade games, tv screens, stage, and a dance floor. It's a family restaurant/sports bar until after dinner service. They have a calendar that shows their nightly entertainment. On weekends there are usually live bands and dancing that start at 9. The Saturday bands are usually good and its a fun place to dance. I've been to 2 DJs and I wouldn't go back for another DJ night. I prefer the dance bands. The mozarella wedges and huge pretzel with cheese sauce are great late night munchies. I wouldn't order the mac n cheese with meat, or anything w/ shredded chicken (dry), again, and the tacos are street tacos and super heavy on cilantro and onions, but the carne asada (steak) was good. They have a big sandwich selection, when I've asked a couple of times, they only had wheat, rye, and sourdough breads (no white bread) for their sandwiches when I've asked, so that's a skip for me too. The appetizers, late night munchies, salads, and burgers are pretty good. If you have food allergies, check your food before you bite, mistakes happen. Buyer beware. The food is okay, but the prices are well above average and misleading on the menu. Specifically, there are very few prices on the menu, those that are provided are not accurate, and the prices are a bit shocking if you request an itemized receipt, which you have to request since they hold your card and provide only a receipt showing the total at checkout. Here, 7 wings were $18.99, there was an undisclosed $4 up charge for an "impossible patty" that was paper thin and did not appear to be an impossible patty (someone should check into the accuracy of this item as it does does not appear accurate) and fries that show as $1.50 on the menu are charged at $2. This used to be a favorite karaoke/football watching haunt, but is now off our go-to list. read more

I read the reviews and wasn't sure what to expect,both good and bad. But from my point of view and the friends who came with me, we had a good time. Our waitress Dani/ Daniela was very friendly and helpful. The menu didn't have prices on it,so she was very helpful to give us prices on different items we wanted to order. She made sure to also check on us ,to see if we needed more food or drink. Even as it got busy ,she was on it. The food itself was pretty decent for bar food. We ordered a variety of items, tacos,burgers, sliders, salad. And some drinks from the bar. A fun band played later in the evening and there was plenty of dancing, which we all love to do.There was plenty of free parking in the nearby structures. Also if you come before 830ish there is no cover charge to get into the bar. I look forward to the next event here. read more

The Wings here are amazing!!! Now I know people usually come here to party, dance, and drink... but if you come before the night scene try their food! You won't regret it. Seating is open to just pick anywhere and plop yourselves down. A server will find you to get your drink orders and food if your hungry. I got half buffalo and half mango habanero. Thought I'd give it another chance even though I felt disrespected by staff the first time.
