    Third serving of chicken.

Came for the all you can eat fried chicken on Sunday. I had a good meal overall, I was a little disappointed that they wanted to charge more for the extra cornbread, which was the tastiest item, but that wasn't mentioned in the menu. The fried chicken was good and the service was friendly and attentive. I think it was well worth it and I would come back again for the fried chicken meal at the least.

Hard to see but lots of dirty residue.

This is a very mid neighborhood grill. The prices are a steep for what you get. Mashed potatoes are gluey. And both my glass and wine carafe were visibly very dirty. Lots of tvs playing so it's also gives a sports bar aesthetic.

Went for the weekend brunch along with the $5 mimosas. Interior lighting was a bit dim, though the decor is cozy. Waitress was sharp albeit curt. Started with a pineapple mimosa which was more juice than wine. Decided to try a Bloody Mary which had a good base, vodka tasted cheap so added more lime, salt, and Tabasco to mask its flavor. Tried their Buratta eggs Benedict which was very good, poached egg perfectly cooked and went well with the buratta and tomato. Hollandaise was ok as well as the biscuit.

We had a mixup with a large party and the manager and waitress could not have been nicer. They got our table ready quickly and when the rest of the people didn't show, they moved us to a more convenient location (for us) . The patio area is nice, there was ample parking, and drinks were good and strong. I tried their special with lemon cello. The calamari special was recommended and we all liked it and the dipping sauce. The watermelon salad was just ok. It needed to be saltier and the tajin was watery tasting. The kid loved his fish and chips and had been starving so got the 3 piece and he couldn't finish because portions were large. The wagyu burger was cooked well, bun was toasted nicely and I got sauce on the side. Friend loved the cowboy steak and the baked beans. We got a snickerdoodle cookie (special dessert) to go and they boxed it up very nicely. It was sweet but the kid really loved it. Would definitely go back and really appreciated how well they took care of us.

Quiet Monday dinner. Ordered up some blacken chicken fettuccine and elk burgers for the guys. Food was really tasty. Waitress was friendly, new but knowledgeable. Daily specials and a chill atmosphere. Menu price for us $26-30 each.

The worst. Frozen potatoes. Hideous 'mushroom bisque ', which was a congealed blob out of a box. Nauseating. Very slow, inept service, we sat and waited while those around us, who arrived later, were served. Extremely slow . Waited over 40 minutes for soup and omelette. Waited 20 minutes for a coffee refill. unacceptable. Mediocre food. Really nervy of these owners to serve up frozen 'country potato ' cubes. Inedible. Really crap move. On top of this, they slap on a 3.75 surcharge. The way we figure the only ones who come here are the already in the bag daydrinkers who don't notice, don't care, or who know no quality . Who knows. Not for us ... Never again!

Hands down the best happy hour in the area Kenmore/Kirkland/Bothell. The beers are like $4 and they have a great selection of rotating taps (Mannys and more). The outdoor dining area is really tranquil and spacious. The staff is always super welcoming and friendly, and they have a cute kids menu that doubles as a hidden picture hunt that's guaranteed to occupy your little one for a few minutes! Pros Best happy food and prices Tons of parking Good for kids Warm service Cons None! Check it out post haste!

I came into my local eatery after a nice cleanup remodel to try their new salmon recipe. I have complained before about their previous salmon dinner that had a glaze on it (looked and tasted like corn syrup). However, this dinner was delicious and the fish was rare as ordered with a nice sauce with capers etc. something I will definitely be ordering again. Well done folks...Bruce Macdonald

The food was ok and the staff was nice. I would go again if I was urged to by others but I don't think I would go back of my own accord.

The place wasn't busy so didn't understand why the food took so long. Then we had some rude employee come to our table and said he called animal control because of our dog. We had checked on the dog a few times while we waited over an hour for a salad and flat bread. That was the last straw. Never going back again.

I'd been to the State park before (before it became a hotel and bar) so I had a bit of an idea of where this cute little speakeasy bar might be, plus we also wanted to walk around & see "everything" before having our drinks. I will say that I would have ended up here much sooner (I've been wanting to go check it out for the past year or maybe even 1.5 years) but the fact that you either have to have a Discover Pass or pay $10 per car for parking, was what delayed me in making it to this bar. I truly feel that the Tonsorium Bar should validate parking and then they'd have a lot more customers. I already knew that the food and drinks at the bar were going to be pricey, and didn't want to pay the $10 parking fee on top of that. I finally found a friend who had a Discover Pass and who also wanted to check out the bar, so I did eventually make it! Once inside the building you need to find stairs and go downstairs. If you see an old barber chair, you know you've found the bar! They had live music when we went (and it was really good too), not too loud, not too quiet, just the perfect volume. The staff uniforms seem to be a green dress shirt or blouse, and all the servers & the bartender were nice and helpful. The fries were very good but a bit pricey ($9 seems a bit much for fries) and I enjoyed my cocktail. They also had quite a few items on their non-alcoholic menu (nice for those who don't drink or the designated driver) but I wish they would get some non-alcoholic rum as that is my favorite, and sadly that was one of the few things they didn't have. If you are vegetarian or vegan, you will probably love this place, as they have a lot of foods on the happy hour menu as well as the dinner menu to accommodate. Foods seemed to come from the restaurant upstairs and it was nice to see them bring the foods past us and get an idea of what all the menu items looked like. I kind of wished I'd gotten the steak salad, as that one looked really appetizing when they brought it out. Since this bar is "downstairs" there isn't really a view of the grounds, like the bar upstairs has, but this is definitely the "popular" bar, probably cause of it's cozy feel and speakeasy vibes. Looking forward to coming back when the weather gets warmer and maybe combining a walk/mini-hike around the grounds with a trip to the bar.

The food was tasty with generous portions--we definitely left with leftovers. Service was friendly, but the pacing was on the slower side. We were expecting a more casual, quick meal, but it felt closer to a fine dining wait. Hubby ordered the Cobb salad and enjoyed it. Daughter went with the Carnivore pizza with thin crust - you can choose thin or regular crust. I had the fish & chips--with tots instead of fries. Both the fish and tots were super crispy, just how I like them. The slaw had a nice tang, and the house-made tartar sauce was on point. Overall, I was impressed with the food--just wasn't expecting the longer wait.

I live maybe 1.5 miles away, so I just wanted to order online and not have to pay a service to deliver that to me...that didn't seem to be an option. So, I drive there and the hostess / only waitress tonight (who was actually very nice) said "oh, you could have just called in and we can take the order on the phone" (well, that would have been nice to list on the website, but whatever. Then, I placed my order (for only 2 people). Personal pizza, chicken ceasar and tots. The other was a burger and tots. Now mind you, there were only 3 other tables with people eating in the entire place. She told me it would only take 15 minutes to get my food, so I go back to my car to wait, then at the 15 minute mark it wasn't done...not even close. I ended up waiting a total of 40 minutes for my food! Whenever I've been here before the food is decent, and sure...I expect to wait a little bit when it's busy, but I think the cooks were more concerned about getting out on time than cooking food! I hardly ever post reviews because I feel like it doesn't really matter anyway...but this was just too terrible of an experience to not share. I guess I'll have to budget 30 minutes the next time I want to order something here!
