Husband went here tonight for 2 pizzas, a steak and cheese sub, and bacon cheese fries. The young lady at the register argues with him on every item saying things weren't on the menu... they are, then he watched her and a young man shuffle items between bags because things were not correct in other orders. He gets home and my steak is cheese is not. It's a very basic BLT. We were given the wrong sandwich. Call and get placed on hold multiple times. Told I can bring the BLT back and they'll make me a new sandwich, they will write our name down for a free sub next time, because they somehow cannot refund the one sandwich. Not to mention the bacon cheese fries taste freezer burned. We prefer spending our money at local places but will not be returning here. It's gone steadily down here for awhile now. read more

Pizza surprisingly delicious, actually giving it 8/10! I ordered the pepperoni & sausage ( that's my go to, if you have a good sausage, I'm in!) the crust was buttery, medium crust, and complimented the amount of toppings perfectly. Also the sauce was fresh and flavorful. What I didn't like is when asked for Parmesan cheese and red peppers, it was a charge but if I dined in, there wasn't a charge and they would let you use at all. Not cool!!! We ordered a Caesar and a Greek salad with chicken. Both were very good. Lettuce was fresh and crunchy. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked just right. Dressing on the side was more than enough. Greek salad had perfectly ripe tomatoes with Kalamata olives, pepperoncini and feta cheese. The Caesar had just the right amount of parmesan and plenty of croutons. Good pizza, bad delivery timing. We ordered from here several times, but recently, it took over an hour to get two pizzas delivered. We live 1.8 miles from the shop. They did eventually send us two more apology pizzas to make up for it, but by then we had to figure something else out to eat. Wow, this place should not specialize in pizza. Service is fantastic, but the pizza bread is tough and not tasty. It's not a busy location and needs to compete with the other parlors. I was looking forward to it, but just found it not irresistible. Anyone that enjoys it, I will pray for you. You've been mislead on how pizza should taste. There's a world of deliciousness ahead of you if you do not go through the path of loyalty at the cost of a good food experience. Some businesses are not built to last just like all cooks should not open a restaurant just because cousin Bob likes your fries. The service, however was fantastic. I ordered delivery and never received my items. When I called and asked to speak to a manager, the manager berated me on the phone and said that because the delivery driver had worked with them for over 10 years that he believes the driver over me never receiving my food. I checked my porch, deck, and outside my gate MULTIPLE times while waiting and there was never any food delivered. I understand mistakes happen with delivering to the incorrect house, but I have never had such terrible customer service and a manager YELL at me in that way. They will never get another dime. Also, if you order through Slice and the manager doesn't believe you, you will not receive a refund. I would give zero stars if that was an option. Update: The food was located at the wrong house. Turns out I was not dishonest and the delivery driver of 10 years got it wrong. The manager was the most disrespectful person I have ever spoken to. Went here for dinner, order the gyro which come with fries. Food was brought quickly and food was warm to eat. This small restaurant very affordable and accessible I also order the grill cheese sandwich which was made to perfection for a grill cheese. The fries were hot and tasty. Restaurant is quiet and plenty of table to seat and enjoy a quiet dinner. The parking is free and plenty of space, I will definitely come back. Jenna our sever was friendly and attentive. 3 stars for the food and service, zero stars for the ambiance and cleanliness. I want to like this place because the food is tasty but I can't ignore the filth and potential for food poisoning. The windows were horribly dirty both outside and on the inside. There was an amazing amout of dust and filth on the window ledge and on the floor below the window. The bathroom is a disgrace. There was a sign on the wall explaining that the plumbing is very old. So fix it! Things that could be easily improved in an hour, such as replacing the rusted filthy trash can and scraping the crude off the floor should be done immediately. There are drips going down the wall in the cooking area. One of the chefs was talking on the phone outside with his hands still gloved. I watched him as he returned to the kitchen, wiping his nose and pulling up his pants with his gloved hands. He never removed those gloves!!! How has this place passed inspection? Are the emplotees not aware of basic hand washing and gloving procedures? To the owner: Clean up your restaurant. Your food is tasty but your restaurant needs a makeover. Lake Ridge Pizzaria has always been my go-to place for great pizza and amazing gyros. I've ordered before from them countless times. However recently I ordered their sub special and got 2 Gyros on Pita and decided to get onions rings for an upcharge of $2 (each). And out of curiosity, we also ordered Calamari & Fries. Well... I dunno. The pics kinda speak for themselves. For an upcharge of $2 each, the onion rings (quality and quantity) was very disappointing. The gyro (which I've ordered numerous times before) was not great either as it was dry and lacking (usually it's plump and juicy). And as you can see... the quality and the quantity of the calamari is by far the worst I've ever had anywhere. It's a shame they allowed that to even leave the kitchen. Literally burnt to a crisp. I'll prob give it some time before I order from Lake Ridge Pizzaria again. As a loyal and consistent customer, I'm very much disappointed. When I do, I will make sure to write another review to do the comparison. Leaving on a good note: at least the fries were yummy. read more

The pizza is delicious! Having previously lived in the area, we used to order from here and missed it greatly when we moved. Now we stop by whenever driving through the area but this last time the service was less than friendly. We placed the order by phone knowing it would be close to closing and we didn't want to delay them. However, we did want to eat one piece at the restaurant before continuing with our trip. The waitress was rude with us and reminded us twice of their closing time. (We still left ten minutes prior to closing.) Two other potential customers came in after us and were both told it was too close to closing for a new order so they left. It's unfortunate that others aren't able to enjoy this delicious food if they arrive within 20 minutes of closing and as long time loyal customers, this last experience was disappointing. read more

Your standard local pizza shop. I was in the plaza browsing and got pizza cravings. I got standard piel] with wings and soda. I did carry out so I can't vouch for their service for dine in. Overall the ambience is quiet and comfy so I would assume it's a good place to sit and eat your pie. The pie was good, I just got a regular pepperoni pie, deff better than your national brands. I got the regular buffalo wings and they were seasoned well. The price was very decent for fresh pizza and wings. The wait time was very short, it's Sunday so it was pretty slow. Upon checkout, neither cashier nor the server could honor the discount for teachers, military, first responders (can't remember exactly who gets it from memory) that they give claiming "we don't do that here" even when I showed that it was printed on the entire stack of menus in front of the register. They said they were never told how to do it so they couldn't. Definitely some mixed messaging from the staff- either they had the discount and couldn't do it or they didn't have it all? Definitely something management should correct in either case since it's extremely frustrating to go for a meal with an advertised discount and come to find out it can't be honored when the bill comes due even though it's publicly on display in the restaurant. read more

Stopped in today for late lunch with my husband and sister. We all ordered Deluxe Steak and Cheese subs - two with onion rings and and one with fries. I told our waitress that this was the best steak and cheese sub I've had in years - tasted like real steak and was lean (not at all fatty) - very yummy. Onion rings were tasty too but I didn't eat all the rings because I finished my entire sub. We ordered 2 side orders of fries because someone told Is they were really good. They came cold and soggy. Suggest poking holes in the delivery boxes as other restaurants do. You can even buy to-go boxes now with vents in them. Ended up not eating the fries. Also ordered 2 salads. For the cost they were just ok. First time trying this pizza joint. I placed an order on their website and never got a confirmation number. Waited 20 mins before I left to goto the place since it was just down the street for me. Arrive there and got my food. I order the xl one topping and some mild wings. Pizza was not hot anymore because the cheese was becoming hard. The sauce on the pizza tasted good but just wasn't enough layered on there. The topping was skimp. I would say not enough to cover the pizza especially it being an xtra large. Order the wings thought they would have mixed the sauce with the wings but it was just plan wings and sauce on the side. The ranch was good. Wings proportion size where some would be decent size and others like baby sizes wings lol. Overall the pizza was just okay nothing to rave about. Should have went to papa John's instead. When I got the pizza it was small and poorly topped. I wondered about the size and called them - I was told there is no XL pizza, no matter what the online service they offer says. Ordered pizza through an app called Slice an app that the restaurant has an account with. Ordering through the app there was a $3 discount. When I picked up my pizza the receipt they gave me showed a different price so I questioned it. Instead of telling me that I paid what was shown through the app and they are paid the regular price. I was told that they have nothing to do with that and I would need to contact the app customer service. If you have an account with someone I would think that you would know the policy - she was rude and when we are trying to support businesses spending money I at least deserve some courtesy when there is an issue. This place reminds me of every home owned pizzeria I've evey been to. Booths with red backs line the periphery and 3 tables are set up down the middle. It's quaint without being trashy...they've also decorated for Christmas, which is a nice little touch. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza, and it was definitely above average, but nothing spectacular. The service was very good. Alex stopped by several times to check on me. I ordered a pizza online from Lake Ridge Pizzeria tonight for the first and last time. When I arrived, the cashier checked to see if my pizza was ready and stated that it should be just a few minutes, very nice and polite. When my pizza came out I noticed the gentleman cutting my pizza talking to the person making the pizzas and the person making the pizzas said he's waiting just give him the pizza. Not thinking anything of it, took the pizza and drove home to find the pizza to be wrong. Calling back to the restaurant the nice lady said if I wanted to bring it back they would remake it. Then put me on hold and when she came back stated that she had talked to the man making the pizzas and he said that he had made it wrong. IF YOU KNOW YOU MADE IT WRONG WHY GIVE IT TO YOUR CUSTOMER!!! They also said they could not give a refund because I ordered it online. Beware of a restaurant that doesn't care about the quality of service they provide because you'll never know what else they might just push out to the customer. PS the pizza is not really good.
