We celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary dinner at Lakepoint and had a wonderful dining experience . We were warmly welcomed at the front door and were seated immediately. Our server was prompt and professional. We ordered two fish entrees: one cod and one walleye. They were both prepared and plated just right. After dinner we shared a piece of chocolate peanut butter cake and it was plenty for the two of us. Reservations are probably a good idea as the restaurant had filled while we were there. It was great to see so many people enjoying a nice dinner on the lake. We are already planning our next visit. read more

One of the best places in NWA. The view is beautiful and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. We enjoyed every aspect of it. Being new to southern cuisine, Catfish was delicious, jambalaya was amazing, and the lamb shanks were perfect. Definitely our cup of tea. read more

First time for having brunch at Lakepoint it was excellent!! The service was great and the view of the lake was spectacular. The breakfast was delicious, I had the 3 meat skillet, while my wife had the veggie omelette, it was much better than commercial breakfasts everywhere else, and it wasn't overpriced. I did a reservation for my daughters birthday. We got there to the door at 2:54. Lady greet us and said: sorry we open at 3:00 and shut the door. We said Okay, maybe for insurance purposes. Then we entered and they did have my reservation for the day before. WTH! Anyways, they gave us a table for service was horrible. So embarrassed for my guests. read more

We've been to this restaurant many a time hoping that there will be improvements. I've made reservations there 2 times and once on the yelp app that couldn't be found, leaving us all to stand there awkwardly. The hostess doesn't seem to know what to do, even tho there is a room full of empty seats. Seats are finally found.The food is sometimes very good and other times not so good. The waitresses are very good. But, the inconsistency of the food quality is a major concern, as well as lost reservations. read more

Lakepoint is probably our favorite restaurant in Bella Vista. My husband and I live nearby and we go every week. The food is delicious--never had a bad meal--the servers are friendly and helpful, the menu has great variety, and the prices are very good. We highly recommend Lakepoint. read more

We had the most enjoyable experience for our entire party of 6 for dinner and drinks this evening which began with Whitney's greeting and efficiency upon our arrival to Sara's excellent, upbeat and delightful table service. Tonight's honeymoon dinner was wonderful! Our 7:30 reservation started at the bar with a Long Island and a gin and tonic for the hubs. Our seats were very secluded and the view was amazing! God really put on a fabulous show with lightning from the thunderstorm. Our meals were a petite sirloin which was absolutely perfect. Hubs had the stuffed shrimp, which was good. Our dessert was Crème Brûlée (which was spectacular!). Our drinks were exceptional...kudos to our bartender. An overall great way to spend and end our wedding day! read more

We have always really enjoyed our visits so we brought out family tonight. So disappointing. First of all it was not busy at all so we should have gotten great service, however she never came around and I had to get up and ask where our waitress was so we could order another round of drinks. We got our meals and my son ordered the Mail Mai. It was so hard on one side he couldn't cut it and it was dry. He said it wasn't good at all. My daughter ordered the chicken parmesan and she said it was pretty bland. The lamb chops we're not very flavorful. Not sure how soon if at all we'll be back. read more

This wasn't what I expected, sad to say. The service was great. I did not enjoy any of the food I tasted. It will probably be said that I don't have a developed palate. Haha. Oh well. The flank steak was extremely tender but just did not taste good and the sweet potato mash was not very flavorful and you don't get a good amount. We ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts and they were just okay; and we ordered the fried shiitake mushroom starter. It was very bland. I tasted the duck fat Yukon gold potatoes and they were hmmm not great. The bread pudding needs more sauce. All in all the food was not very flavorful. I would not have minded the high prices if I had truly enjoyed the food. I don't plan to return. The staff is very friendly. Our waiter was very personable and enjoyable. read more

All I can say that burned potatoes for brunch are super disappointing for the price you pay. I will never go back. The view is beautiful but I have that from my home. Dinner date. I had the ribeye, nothing special. Thin and tasted like a chain restaurant. I thought for $28 it would be better. Wife had the salmon. It was slightly above average. Restaurant was clean. Staff was knowledgeable, be sure to ask them about their wine/bourbon tasting room. The view was worth the drive, but just expect average food. read more

We ate here for Easter brunch and the food was terrible. The menu specifically said sauce on the side, but meals came out cold with this terrible congealed sauce covering it up. Drinks were not correct and no one bothered to refill water glasses. For $300 I would have expected better food and service. Do not recommend and will not be back. read more

The Stuffed Shrimp was not that good. The Crab Cake appetizer was very good. The Petite ground Steak had a bad sauce (gravy). Tasted like it came from a can instead of being made from the drippings. The potatoes that came with it was excellent. The Cream Brûlée' desert was excellent. read more

I went to Lakepoint Restaurant for it's opening day brunch. They still had many kinks to work out, but were very open to suggestions. I took some neighbors, as a thank you, about a month later. Looks better in the pictures. we had many people for a luncheon there, no one said their food was very good. I had the fish and chips. the fish was ok, the fries were inedible. Greasy, cold and lame. My friend had the mahi sandwich, she only finished half. fish was dry and the sandwich was well, just lame. Nothing extra here, presentation of all our dishes was very basic, the cook or chef didnt take pride in what he was cooking, and we knew it at the table. Some of the food that came out was cool, not hot. The ladies didnt say anything cuz theyre polite and didnt want to complain. waitress didnt offer to get us refills of wine, we actually didnt see her again until the bill came. 2 stars because of the view of the restaurant, we had alot of food, nothing to write home about, or tell anyone to go there unless youre fishing and get hungry. this place is expensive for what you get. disappointed for not having many restaurants in Bella Vista. read more

My husband and I had the "Early Bird" special on valentine's day. He had Vegetable Lasagna and I had the steak, garlic potatoes and stir fried vegetables. Wonderful food!!! We topped it off with an Apple tort - amazing! My husband travels and eats at some of the best restaurants in the nation and he said the Apple tort was the best he had ever had! About the lake view - so beautiful. And, the whole staff was so nice. This stunning restaurant had kind of a rough start, but they are doing great now! We will be going regularly! read more

Views are great, service is very friendly, the building itself has been a little warm during our summer visits. Service has been hit or miss, sometimes our servers are very attentive and enhance the experience but on occasion they have clearly been overwhelmed - to be fair this was pre-covid. There are a good amount of food options if you are on a regular diet, and they have added some gluten free options that are tasty. It is surprising that certain dishes are not marked as gluten free - for example, the creme brûlée. Having enjoyed this many places and made it myself quite a few times, I'm unsure why it would need to have gluten added when the classic recipe does not include gluten containing ingredients. Overall, a pleasant experience priced slightly high that compensates for that with great views. read more

I highly recommend Lake Point as a celebration venue. We recently had an anniversary party there and coordinated with Erik Fitchue and staff. They are really professional and experienced with these events -- had all the answers to our questions, offered great suggestions, worked with us to add our own touches and did everything they could to meet our needs. The party room has all the accommodations you could ask for -- temperature control, dimming/brightening the lights, plugging our phone into the audio system for our own music, a large flat screen TV for playing videos/slideshows. The first thing everyone says is "what a view!" But, it is the staff who were so friendly and helpful to our guests that made the evening flow so well. There were two before-dinner trays of vegetables and dip (fresh and crunchy) and cheese tray (a gorgeous array of cheeses). The entrees were garlic chicken parmesan or roasted beef tips. There were plenty of compliments on the food, too. Once again, the staff just made everything work so well. This really could not have gone better. read more

Been coming here for years, paid north of $18,000 for wedding which was worth every penny. Weekly dinner? Terrible. Food is great, service is slower than imaginable. Took my husband out for his birthday. We had the crispy mushroom appetizer and it was really good. Easily serves 2 hungry individuals, or 3-4 small eaters. I had the Delmonico ribeye (did I say I was really hungry?) it was a thin cut, but flavorful and juicy. Hubby had the Jamaican grill, which he said was delicious, and my 88 year old mother had the small plate of Surf and Turf Skewers - perfect for her small appetite! We finished with shot-sized portions of dessert - carrot cake, cheesecake, and banana cream pie. Each the perfect size of 2 or 3 bites, when you want just a bit of sweetness and not not feel like you overate. We'll go back again for dinner. It was a beautiful sunset and not very busy. read more
