Every year I camp at Huntington Lake. When I'm there I go to the restaurant and eat. This time I went twice, Hayley and Donnie were both off the charts. Always checking on you, and delivering a great service. The food is fantastic! I always look forward to going back. Thank you for the good food and service.

Hailey 10 stars was our bartender as she was fantastic!

We love Hailey ! The watermelon margarita was delicious! One of the best I have ever had in a long time. Thank you for the fresh fruit .

Levon is amazing! Wonderful host and owner, showed up unexpected and hungry with my crew after working on trails in the woods for a month and he and his party were so kind to open up shoppe for us on their day off! Definitely will come back again. Thank you much

Beautiful lake view location, clean adorable cabin's, amazing food, great staff and so conveniently located near China Peak Ski Mountain. I can't wait to go back!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I overheard a racist comment from the bartender at the bar of this resort. She said "this is why I don't like Latinos" to a family sitting next to us at the bar. As a Latina myself, I was appalled but afraid to stand up for them with the current state of the US. Her behavior was absolutely disgusting and the owners disregard to address this awful situation speaks volumes on the values and morals of this establishment. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

First time out in this area and it did not disappoint. From what we understand, this property has been recently purchased and is undergoing renovations. In the meantime, we were able to rent three, renovated cabins on the property. Party of nine and it was so much fun. Escape the everyday chaos of Los Angels and truly become one with the epic nature and views you're surrounded by. The resort staff was so nice and the food at the property was beyond delicious and reasonably priced. They also just opened a brand new general store to service the area. Took the kids to China Peak (a four minute drive) to snowboard for the day. This is definitely the first of many trips, especially because they are in the middle of the building a gorgeous resort! Born and raised in this glorious state and I'm still discovering new places like Lakeshore. Blessed!!

Great spot!! The season was in a lull 2 weeks after Labor Day. Not summertime and not ski time. But a large group of us, 28 total, were staying in Shaver and needed lunch and libations! Bartender Hayley and the cook Lisa were able to fill all orders, have patience, and deliver delicious food in a timely manner! They were both so accommodating. Ya know, when we go out, that's all us patrons desire, right? Just be accommodating! These two ladies get a standing ovation from all of us! We all enjoyed the cleanliness of the restaurant, whimsical signs, a great time, good food, and all around relaxed atmosphere. Thanks again! Such a treasure on the side of the mountain road!

I attended a wedding and stayed here for a few days. We had the best time, it's a beautiful campground and the lake is gorgeous. The bar food and the fancier menu were great. The bartenders and other staff were amazing and super cool. Haley is so nice, made me so many great drinks and when I decided to come back and get a cabin after our second leg of the wedding she took great care to make sure I was comfortable.

We stayed at Lakeshore Resort for the long weekend. The experience was amazing all around- the staff, the food, the evening entertainment, and of course the stunning views. Linda, Shula, Erin, and Mary were wonderful. They treat you like family .Nothing beats spending a weekend at 7200 feet! Will definitely be back again. P.S. the breakfast burrito and wings are a must try!

However, I think it's important for other RV travelers to know that the photos are misleading. Our camper was squeezed in directly next to our neighbors (on both sides) with almost no space between sites. We actually had to move both our bench and our neighbor's bench just to fit properly. The fire pit was also shared between sites. You could also tell our neighbor was not happy about how close they had us, with both of our doors basically opening up into one another. There was very little privacy, which was disappointing considering we paid $140 per night and expected a much different experience based on the listing photos. The overall property also felt more like a construction yard or storage area than the peaceful lakeside camping experience we were expecting. Additionally, the RV sites were not nearly as close to the river as the photos suggest. Unfortunately, my daughter and I became sick with fevers during our stay and had to cut our trip short. We reached out to request a partial refund for the four unused nights, but the customer service was disappointing and nothing was resolved. If you're considering staying here, just be aware that the photos do not accurately represent the spacing between sites or the proximity to the lake. In our experience, the price was extremely high for what was provided.

They did switch us to another room but when I asked if their boiler was operating they said yes. I can assure you it was not. The room barely got above 30 degrees which led to a cold night and left us very bitter in the morning. Made it even harder to get up and actually go snowboarding. Along with lifts being closed down for no reason at the time, poor hotel conditions I would only say stay if you couldn't get a fair priced Airbnb in shaver area. Anything 30 mins drive is worth it compared to the outdated and broken down rooms. Can't really say anything bad about the staff since they were friendly but whomever owns this place should be ashamed. Had great potential yet they're just letting it go to waste.

They sometimes make…read moremistakes and install fences that do not make any sense that weren't even there that very same day, on the very same line. You will be better off throwing yourself into the ground at high speed to be able to stop on time, and walk around it, or you risk of being threatened like a criminal to cancel your pass, and to only use an easy line. On Friday, January 9th, I used a nice black diamond line 3 times from 9-11:30 am, no fence whatsoever, everything perfectly safe. While trying to run it for a 4th time at around 12:45, I noticed a "safety fence" on exactly the exit of that line, on a place that wouldn't make any sense. I already committed to the line, and was going at a decent speed. I tried to be polite enough, not destroying the fence but rather going under it. The ski patrol was finishing the fence close to where I crossed it, so he proceeded to threaten me like a criminal to cancel my pass and felt with the authority to order me to use Academy only. Weird thing, I tried to run the line again at like 2:30 pm, but planned to use a slightly different exit to avoid that fence, and for some "strange" reason, the fence I crossed and that I was threatened for, wasn't even there anymore. That tells me that someone made a mistake and just put a fence on a place that didn't make any sense whatsoever, and that would have actually made the run more dangerous instead of safer. Not even try to e-mail China Peak, they won't own their mistake, and essentially they will threaten you again over email to cancel you pass. This is not the friendly resort that it used to be anymore, take your business to Dodge Ridge, Bear Valley, or Mountain High, they still have the vibe.

I loved the Worldmark Bass Lake as each unit was a 2 story townhouse.  There was nobody above us and I rarely heard the people next to us.  At other Worldmarks I was often woken up by people walking on the floor above us.  I'm not a good sleeper away from home but I got some good sleep here. There is the nearby town of Oakhurst about 15 minutes away which had a good amount of restaurants.  I was impressed there was a street vendor selling half flats of strawberries for $20.  I bought one and was eating strawberries everyday.  Strawberries needed another day or 2 before they were fully ripe.  After I let them sit in the kitchen they were sweet and juicy with lots of strawberry flavor.  Better than supermarket strawberries but not quite as good as my favorite farmers market strawberries. Staff was friendly and helpful.  Lots to do and see nearby.  I loved staying at Bass Lake Worldmark Spring 2024 road trip to Yosemite + King's Canyon National Parks: Golden Dragon was our 1st stop for food. https://www.hungryones.com/2024/05/golden-dragon-2/ We stayed at Worldmark Bass Lake. https://www.hungryones.com/2024/05/worldmark-bass-lake/

Worldmark units have their own pool, etc, and the RCI units share a pool, parking lot, trash bins with some actual homeowners who live in that same area. They are not very friendly (who can blame them, while we were there a guest drove his truck through someone's backyard.) Forgive the length, but good info here: The unit: We stayed in unit A35, in building 3, closest to the lake but with no lake view. Perfect unit if you want a quiet place to relax and an opportunity to see wildlife. It faces the boat parking lot. Upstairs in the master is a window facing the road. Anyone on the road can see into the window so we just left the blinds closed. No road noise to speak of. There is only 1 shower/tub and it's upstairs, so not technically a 2 bath as stated. With 4 people,  it's a bit inconvenient. Photos show all the room appointments, it was perfect for us. Both bedrooms were upstairs with the full bath.  The lake: Very short 5 min walk to the lake. We easily rolled our kayaks over every morning.  Lake gets very busy, but the water is incredibly clear. We spent hours exploring the shoreline and wetlands. Angel Falls trailhead is also in walking distance from the resort, although there are a few places along the road where there is no shoulder, so its not for the faint of heart. Yosemite Access: Wawona entrance is only 30 min from the lake but it's another hour to get to the main attractions in the park (bridal veil falls etc.) We were here during the Wahburn and Oak fires so we had to use the entrance gate waaaay over on the other side of Mariposa. After 1.5 hours of driving, we then had a 2 hour wait to get in the park. I don't recommend it. I cannot recommend this place enough. Staff was friendly and helpful. From the pool to the lake, there are tons of things to do and explore,  enough to keep all ages busy.

Thousands of years ago it was home to the Miwok Native Americans who spent their summers in Yosemite Valley (which they called Ahwahnee) and their winters on this property, building two large villages here. In the 1860's, William Crooks built a cattle ranch here. His crews constructed three large ponds and a sophisticated diversion system to fill those ponds so that his cattle would have enough water to make it through the arid California summers. It's a collection of cabins that are literally in the woods. Dirt paths lead to the cabins. You might expect that the cabins would therefore be dirty. They are not. They are really exceptionally clean. Location: the grounds are beautiful, with excellent views of the surrounding mountains. Trails lead directly from the resort to South Lake and to Table Mountain. And because the resort is at almost 9,300 feet, it's the highest and thus the best place to acclimate to high altitude. Management: everything seems to function very well, and that is probably due in great part to the family that, as of 2025, runs the place. They always seem to be on-site. I've come to them numerous times with questions and requests; they've always been helpful and attentive. It's hard to go wrong by booking a place here as long as you understand what you are doing. You are booking a room in a rustic place, not a Hilton (though your room at Parchers will be cleaner than some Hilton rooms). Read the policies and the website descriptions carefully before you book. And if Parchers still seems good to you after you do that reading, you probably should book a room.
