They do not provide trailer parking, but there's a park across the street with RV parking. The hotel is gorgeous with a rustic, elevated, cabin feel. Has a small creek in the middle of it with relaxing chairs and fire pits. The Jacuzzi was also very lovely, we spent a very lovely afternoon /evening there. We also had a pet friendly room that accommodated our 2 small dogs. They have areas for the dogs to go potty, which is awesome. They also have an outstanding lobby bar / lounging are that was very relaxing. Diego the bartender was outstanding on both separate times we stayed there. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, the mushroom pizza and the barbecue chicken pizza. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and there was hard water on the bathroom, shower glass, but it happens. Some people prefer soft beds. Some people prefer firmer beds. I understand that. Yes, it's on the more expensive side, but it's a gorgeous hotel and people shouldn't complain. If it's too much then don't book it ! The cancellation policies & prices are upfront so I don't understand why people complain about that.

Before booking, travelers should understand that Wayfinder appears to enforce its cancellation policy even when a major wildfire prevents the original trip from taking place. The hotel offered to convert my one night reservation into a credit, but only if I selected and confirmed new travel dates within 48 hours. In my view, that is not a reasonable accommodation. When travel is unexpectedly disrupted by a natural disaster, it can take weeks or months to determine when a replacement trip will be possible. A more customer-friendly approach would be to issue a credit valid for 6-12 months and allow guests to book new dates when their plans are finalized. We also discussed moving the reservation forward by one night to accommodate our revised itinerary. While I understand that weekend rates are higher, the additional cost would have been several hundred dollars, making that option impractical. As a result, I lost the cost of one night's stay and will not be booking with Wayfinder in the future. This was my first experience with the company, and unfortunately it left me with the impression that there is little flexibility for guests facing extraordinary circumstances beyond their control. Management already has my contact information. I hope you'll reconsider and issue a credit that can be used within the next year, rather than requiring a new reservation to be booked within 48 hours.

It's close to the bakery and walking distance to other fast food and eateries. Parking can be tricky if you get there too late. But there were more spaces on the other side that we didn't know about until we walked our dog. There's also a bowling alley nearby. We only stayed for one night and it really was more like a 12- hour stay but it was enough to get rested, fed and our room was comfortable. The breakfast selection was pretty well stocked. It's a grab and go style so we were able to take it on the road with us. I would consider staying here again.

The fitness room is decent for a motel. Breakfast isn't much but it's filling. It works. It's toast, cereal, bagels, egg whites, oatmeal, yogurt, bananas, apples, milk, peanut butter, jelly, cream cheese and coffee. It's not gourmet but it works. The breakfast place is nice, clean and upgraded. I do feel like they try their best to make this place comfortable. The effort shows. I love that the entrance to the rooms is indoors. It's walking distance to restaurants and the park. I'm assuming this is the downtown. I had a dog and they were very friendly and accommodating. I love that they have a bathtub. I have toddlers so it was a nice way to bathe them. Plenty of parking. Cons: One of the major disappointments for me is the wifi. It's extremely slow. This is a big major point for me because I have to work on my laptop and when videos aren't loading it's difficult to work. The doors look old and outdated. It just lowers the aesthetic. There are no elevators, which I already knew. I can overlook that though, my main compliant is the WiFi, especially for the price.

The biggest disappointment was the customer service. Ben at the front desk was rude and condescending, which made an already disappointing stay even worse. After staying at numerous Best Western properties on this trip, we know the level of quality the brand is capable of. Unfortunately, this location fell far short of those standards. As it is now, you have to walk them where the cars are parked and all there is - is dirt and rocks and very little space for them to do their business. How about take a small portion of the parking lot and create an enclosure with fake grass that can be hosed down and have little poop bags? Because the hotel does such a poor job of no grass for the dogs, dogs poop along the area and leave the poop. This should really be addressed. It's frustrating.

I usually stay at places like Best Western, but this time they wanted $230 for one night, so I started looking around and found Vagabond Inn at a much more reasonable price. And wow -- what a surprise! Everything started with my phone call. Mr.Todd, who was on duty tonight, answered the phone and was absolutely excellent. He was clear, polite, professional, quick, and even handled my jokes with a great sense of humor. He gave me all the information I needed right away. When I arrived, I was honestly shocked. At midnight, guests can still have something to eat -- milk, fruit, breakfast items, bananas, and other food are available. After a long drive, that was an incredible touch. I have traveled all over the United States and have never seen this kind of hospitality at a hotel. And then I entered my room. Usually, when you walk into a hotel, there is that familiar smell of old furniture, cleaning products, air fresheners, and years of guests staying there. Not here. This room smelled fresh and clean, like home. The bedding was exceptionally clean, the curtains were spotless, and I could not find a speck of dust anywhere. But I especially want the management to know about Todd. This guy deserves recognition -- and, in my opinion, a promotion. He was prepared, professional, attentive, friendly, and extremely efficient. He communicates clearly, gives complete information the first time, and never makes you ask the same question twice. Exactly what outstanding hotel service should look like. I was so impressed that I even took a photo with Todd -- something I rarely do with hotel employees. Please look at the photos attached to this review. Vagabond Inn gets 5 stars -- actually 5 stars squared, maybe even cubed! If you're traveling through Bishop on your way to Burning Man, don't overthink it -- stay at Vagabond Inn. Quality Inn Bridgeport, CA…read more UPDATE!!!! PD (Bridgeport PD) officer Lawson, badge 485, and TWO Bridgeport Firefighters were called by me. As overnight multiple dozens of ants covered the TV credenza and desk. While looking for the source discovered microwave has BARE wires, shock and fire hazard. FD had to pull credenza from wall to disconnect. General Mgr Dan Juarez said "well that's just how it is" (ants) and "rooms only get maintenance every 6mo" and then told us to leave the property. Officer and the two FD saw the ants and bare wires. They said "yes this is a big problem" PD and FD filed official reports. Report number and names forwarded to Quality Inn corporate. Mayors office, chamber of commerce, and Inyo Register (News) contacted. I am told FD, because now officially an incident, will conduct an inspection of the property. Additional pix of ants etc. added. WTF? Tooo late now, I'm literally here as I post this. WHAT A DUMP. STAY AWAY. Nothing is great alone 395, but this might be the worst.

When the receptionist arrived, I was told that the facility was overbooked and that we had to look for lodging somewhere else and that they might be able to accommodate the next day. After talking it out for 20mins, we were given room reserved to someone else that either coming late or no show. We got into the room and settled in since we dont have much options. - The bathroom sink is leaking - We discovered at night that the TV remote battery is missing and the office is closed already. - We discovered the next morning that refrigerator is not plugged in so my kids medicine were compromised. - There is a filty rug under the refrigerator - The microwave was not wiped down - The refrigerator has tape inside to hold compartment - There was no hand soap We planned our trip months ago and I was really hoping that this could be one of those home base we could use as we introduce the Sierra and hiking with our kids but this ruined the experience On the good side we were not tossed without lodging but until midnight I heard people coming in that lost thier reservation since the facility overbooked. They are blaming Expedia and booking.com but this seems not the first overbooking incidents.
