    Common house burger

Went on a Sunday evening about 7 pm. Very nice atmosphere . Our servers / bartenders Mike and Marianne were very attentive. Very attentive. Started with french onion soup made with Hooker beer. Was delicious. BF and I both had the house burger cooked rare . Was cooked to perfection and very very good !! Found this place with Groupon. Will be back !!

Wow. What a great experience. Sure, it's the primary bar and grill for the Sheraton hotel, but it's got a great vibe. The bartender/server is incredible. So friendly, and attentive to anything you could possibly need... Refills, menus, food. The food was amazing. We had a super appetizer: buffalo wings, cooked perfectly. I had up Reuben with short rib, and my husband had a burger with bacon and cheddar. Instead of french fries we had couscous salad. So yummy. A couple of cold Absolute martinis...and a perfect night.

It's not trying too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Feels like a spot where regulars post up, sip coffee, and take their time. No rush, no nonsense, ust good energy. And then the sandwich shows up... and flips the script. This isn't breakfast. This is a stacked, unapologetic morning statement. The Overloaded Egg Sando Griddled brioche bun, soft, buttery, just enough toast to hold things together (barely). Under that, a crispy hash brown doing the heavy lifting, adding crunch and soaking up all the goodness. Sausage brings that savory backbone, while the spinach scrambled eggs stay fluffy and rich. Then you get that creamy hit from the smashed avocado, melted smoked gouda layering in a subtle smokiness, and finally... the gochujang aioli. That aioli is the move. Sweet heat, a little funk, a little tang, cuts right through the richness and keeps every bite from getting too heavy. And let's be honest... Had to unhinge my jaw like a snake just to take the first bite. This thing is messy, stacked, and fully committed to the cause. Not first-date food. Not "eat it in the car" food. This is sit-down, take-a-minute, maybe-need-a-nap-after kind of food. The best part? The space balances it perfectly. Big, bold sandwich... calm, easygoing room. That's a combo I'll go back for every time.

Luckily I was able to find parking and there was a line waiting to go into Ken's corner. I didn't mind the wait since I really wanted to eat here. I'm glad I did, it was moving, and they got people in and out of the restaurant . The workers are pleasant and very helpful when deciding what to order off the menu. As I mention it was my first time there, we ordered the coconut French toast and shared the surf & turf egg Benedict. Everything was worth the wait and tasted amazing. I'm already planning my next visit to try something else on the menu. Food came out presentable and hot. Glad I came here because it's prob one of the best breakfast spots in the area.

And although busy with a line that literally went out the door, the line moved quickly enough that I didn't regret waiting. The food was outstanding, chocolate chip pancakes with some berries, a side of bacon. (two sides if I'm being honest), and a green tea. I sat outside, as it was a perfect early June morning. My only complaint had nothing to do with the restaurant. Someone in the parking lot was smoking pot early in the am and the smell was very strong. I'm no prude but for f's sake use your brain people - there were lots of children around. Not smart! The waitress was personable, the price was reasonable. Overall, an excellent experience. Try Ken's Corner soon, and you'll be adding it to your regular rotation.

The meeting was exactly two minutes away from Bob's, so when I rolled into Bob's at a quarter to nine, saw a near empty dining room, I figured I'd have plenty of time to have a coffee, enjoy a bagel, and go through my meeting notes. Oops, that wasn't what happened. Truth be told, I made my meeting with seven minutes to spare. After I ordered, I waited for quite a while and looked up from my notes to see what was going on. I saw two servers and the manager engaged in a serious conversation about something. My server caught my eye and ran over to the kitchen, and I clearly heard her say something like "where's that egg on a bagel?". It was evident that the order hadn't even made its way to the kitchen yet. Eventually my breakfast sandwich did arrive, and the server offered some sort of an apology for the delay and communication breakdown. Now, as I said, Bob's was pretty empty today, so that made the service breakdown hard to understand. I certainly hope they do a better job on their busy weekends. Anyway, my server was pleasant, and I did appreciate her apology. The sandwich and coffee were fine, and the bill came to just $7. Will I be back next month? I doubt it.

I definitely will be back to buy some pasta and sauce! The marketplace is so charming and has a lot to offer. We grabbed a Vietnamese coffee, a slice of the Basque cheesecake, and the Yuzu pineapple lemonade. Typically the lemonade also comes with coconut, but since they were out I added guava instead. It was so refreshing and perfect for this amazing weather that we've been having. We saved the cheesecake and coffee for the next morning, but the coffee was just as great as when I tried it and the cheesecake was so rich!

I found it Inside an ordinary looking strip mall. The coffee choices are pretty impressive, and their website made me chuckle when I saw them ask viewers to "Drop the orange and pink branded cup ;-) - There is a better way to start your morning, power your day, and sip on a little sunshine". I passed on their lineup of Cappuccino, Lattes, Espressos, Americanos, Macchiato, Cold Brews, Vietnamese, Cuban, And Con Panna, because all I wanted was a regular coffee, I went with their Deep Roast version known as CAFÉ HABANA, an espresso bean blend from Guatemala, Brazil, and Nicaragua. It was excellent, a yummy dark roast coffee with plenty of taste to it. Now seriously, what is a morning coffee without an accompanying bakery treat. They had a tempting variety of empanadas, croissants, pastries, and it was a tough decision before I put my money down on a muffin-like asparagus cheese frittata. It was decadently great. While I was waiting for my order, I looked around and saw quite a bit of prepared food (all prepared from scratch in house) for take-out. They have a lunch menu and a great looking Italian themed catering menu with Manicotti, Hand Stuffed Shells, Beef Lasagna, Three Cheese Lasagna, Four Cheese Mac & Cheese, and Eggplant Torta. Your shopping and browsing experience will also include sightings of canned goods, assorted groceries and baked goods. For all of these reasons, I was very impressed with my stop at Ani's, and I bet you'll be too.
