Dropped my car off at Classic Collision, and it took them two weeks to figure out they didn't want to work on it because it had a wrap. Two weeks. To look at the car and say "nah." Then I picked it up with a brand-new mystery noise from the seatbelt/door area. They said they didn't touch or move the car. Which is crazy because apparently my car has been driving itself around their parking lot like Lightning McQueen. Dropped it off with accident damage, picked it up with bonus sound effects. 1 star for the free mystery feature nobody asked for. And zero repairs. read more

I just just got charmed. I went to Classic Collision for an estimate on my bumper/side panel issue. Devin Alexander looked at the side panel and concluded I only needed a fix that would take 5 mins. I had some dents on my Rav 4 bumper and on the surrounding area on the lift gate that I wanted fix. Which were obvious when looking at that area. Well I just got it back after a five days and I have to say the bumper looks good but there is Scratch on the lift that was just painted over with a paint brush and not even sanded or buffed out! A mistake they were trying to cover up in hopes I would not see it. I did. It again was obvious. It's small but after spending $2000.00 I kind of expected it to look smooth and finished like it is supposed too after getting painted. That part was not addressed during the body and paint work! When I asked about it they said it was better than nothing! Well I got nothing. And I got mad. And it was my fault for not looking closer at the estimate?! So they fix the bumper but they left a scratch on the gate! So it's my fault! I told them I would have been more than happy to pay for that missed scratch they missed! A phone call would have fixed this problem. But this tells me is they cannot think for themselves? And leaving a scratch even a small one that my eye went right to when I picked it up was kind of infuriating. Again they blamed me for not caching it before ? Bottom line these people are immature incompetent and unprofessional! I expect this place to go under quickly. If you are smart do not go to classic collision! Classic Collision - A scratch that was over looked by there estimater and their body repair people!? Such as they are! - Body Shops Near Me - Kirkland, Washington

I was rearended on Labor Day and needed a body shop to do the repairs. Lakeside was familiar to me since it's close to my house and they do a lot of insurance work. This all happened during the great reopening, labor shortage and supply chain disruptions so repairs took a lot longer than expected, about 3 weeks for a 4 or 5 day repair. The work was done well overall, cosmetically fine. Problem was that I had the lift gate replaced on my Jeep and when I got it back, the backup sensor kept beeping everywhere I went. It took three days of unreturned phone calls to get back in for the fix, which turned out to be a cable that the tech forgot to connect. I was told that that are stretched and having a hard time keeping techs to do the work and keep delivering cars. I believe it and didn't complain but it didn't make my experience any better. read more

There will be a new name, probably Classic Autobody. They'll be using water based paints now !!!! UPDATE: Moss Bay International, Inc. [ d/b/a Lakeside Collision Center Kirkland] continues to evidence its dedication to the best in customer service excellence! Due to their rather large billing error, a 75% overcharge (!), after a few days of no response, I filed a dispute with B of A Credit Card. The dispute was then settled immediately by Ms. Claudia! However, B of A Credit Card Services then refused to remit the payment back to Lakeside Collision Center Kirkland (even though B of A of course immediately charged it back on me). For four months, Ms. Claudia and I wasted hours of time wrangling with the liars at B of A Credit Card Services, trying to get this merchant paid. Finally, Ms. Claudia , Mr. Tim Pugmire and I decided it was necessary for me to come in and pay them (by check of course as B of A credit cards are no good anymore). SO I GET TO PAY FOR MY REPAIRS TWICE (as we know B of A will never refund MY MONEY). This autobody shop is the best. Mr. Tim Pugmire, Ms. Claudia and Jasmine my hat is off to you! I had damage to my vehicle as the result of a rear end incident. I was first directed to another auto body repair shop, and that was a horrible experience. After 2 weeks they had not yet started the repair, and could not guarantee they could start for another month. I retrieved my vehicle, and was then directed to Lakeside Collision. The experience could not have been better. There was an issue with the insurance coverage, and Tim, the owner, went to some length to address the issue to everyone's satisfaction. I took my car here for damage from a sideswipe and it was recommended by my insurance. The staff were friendly, professional, and it was reassuring to see them all taking safety precautions at this time. Jameson in particular was a huge help and really went out of his way for me. During the inspection, he noticed some questionable repairs, which had been done at another shop several years ago. He called to let me know, and documented the issue for me. Then, he worked with my insurance to have the questionable repairs corrected and included in my claim. It took a little time for the new parts to arrive but in 2 weeks I went to pick up my car and it practically had a whole new front end. Great service and nice staff. Instead of selling me a product, Luke had me pull my car into a bay, and right then and there he buffed the stuff off, then removed any residue with a solvent. I rarely do shout outs or reviews because who cares. I recently had a lot of bodywork done to my car. It's a 2014 Altima that has taken a beating. Our parking space involves poles & I had a teenage girl driver happened to it. The whole right side was a mess. The left side was covered with scratches & scuffs typical of here. A couple weeks ago I was as in an accident that was my fault & decided to finally make a claim, knowing it might be 2 claims. Well the Geico shop nearest my house is Lakeside Collision. I decided to just trust. Dropped the car off, talked to the estimator & just prayed it was the right thing. Paperwork & estimates started to flow in & wow. So much $$$. But everything on the car is treated as 1 claim. 1 incident. Told my kid this is why you have insurance.. and not quite 3 weeks later I get the call- the car is ready. Done. I picked up the car. Everyone is pretty nonchalant about here's the car. I am amazed though. The entire car is perfect & shiny & beautiful. It looks better than the day I bought it. Lakeside Collision fixed absolutely everyspot & scuff on it. Absolutely everything. There were some spots on the windshield I saw later & I asked about them. They were totally come in & we'll take a look. Turns out to be nothing & they went back over the car with me & saw some sap spots, removed them & told me to come back if I see them again. Our 2007 Civic (originally owned in Canada) needed some work after an accident awhile ago and our insurance company referred us here. Can I emphasize what a PAIN IN THE YOU-KNOW-WHERE it was to do ANY kind of maintenance to an older car from CANADA!!??!?!? The vin numbers are different so any regular maintenance schedules, product recalls, and parts are different.... had we known, we never would have brought the car when we moved - but that is a different problem! I found the staff at Lakeside Collision to be extraordinary. They communicated fully throughout the process of fixing up our car and laid out all expectations very well (even with the uncertainty around the peticularities of our model!) We hope not to need further services - but if we did, we would certainly try to take our vehicle there again in the future. read more

This really is as good as it gets!! I was recently involved in a collision and repairs were needed on my front bumper and passenger-side fender. So I figured while my car was in the shop, I might as well get a quote from a separate issue and tie it all in. There'd been some damage done from a different snafu to my rocker (the bottom exterior piece underneath the door) - scrapes, scratches and a dent. When I received the quote, I had some sticker shock (didn't realize how much damage I'd done) so I called the shop back to go over the estimate in full detail. They were extremely transparent with the estimate and went over the details line by line so that I understood exactly how the estimate came to be. We decided on a compromise to help my wallet and I gave the green light on the repairs. Prior to the work being done, I was kind of a nervous wreck about the paint not matching and just had an overall general fear of it not looking as nice as when I'd had it before the accident. In retrospect, I didn't need to be - when I picked up my car about a week later, it came back looking pristine. Paint was a perfect match, and the bumper and fender looked brand spankin' new, too. I noticed that in addition to making the repairs, they'd also taken time to wash it and present it back like a brand new car. This, to me, says a lot about the quality of care they invest in their service. Upon payment, I discovered that they decided to move forward with repairing my scrape-scratch-dent in full (instead of the compromise we agreed on) - I got way more than I paid for! A few days later, I noticed a piece on my passenger door was loose. This was kinda stressful as I anticipated the worst - more fees, more explaining, etc. I called them immediately the next morning and was able to bring my car in without making an appointment. This was such a relief! I got to the shop and was immediately tended to. There was no fuss, no questioning of whether it was their responsibility or not - they just handled it! This really earned a lot of trust so I asked if I could get a quote on some scratches I wanted fixed. Jameson took a look, came back and said they'd cover it as a courtesy. I mean, WOW. Right there, on the spot, without an appointment, they delivered such high-caliber service. They're a family-run business and working with them has been such a pleasant experience. Back in late 2017 I got into collision which resulted in my front bumper, hood and drive side headlight basically being replaced. I went to Lakeside through Geico because it was close to my workplace so drop off and pick up were convenient. My car seemed fine after pick up and they finished within the quoted period, but later on I observed several marks of bad workmanship. 1) The new car emblem that was adhered back to the new hood has permanent wax or residue on it that looks like a 50% translucent white spot. I suspect they tried buffing it or something and damaged the outer coating. 2) Upon replacing a lightbulb in the new headlight they installed on the driver side I found that they had broken the retention push tab on the headlight harness. Luckily it was just the push tab part of the retention mechanism so I could use a flat head to open it and it would still close, but this clearly reeks of rushed work. Mechanic probably jammed away at the tab trying to pull the harness out. read more

While fixing and replacing my driver door on my sports car, they scratched the interior of my Tiny leaving search marks all up and down my tint inside. This is over a grand to replace and the manager refused to upfront and confess to the damage her employees did. This is not the first review I've seen of poor work. BEWARE- look at all the recent 1 star reviews I didn't just give them one or two chances to get my repair right- I ended up making 6, yes SIX, visits to this shop, and now I simply give up. Some Lakeside Collision highlights: * Replacing my headlight with a damaged headlight and hoping I wouldn't notice. Then refusing to order a new headlight because, "It could just show up damaged as well. These parts are damaged during shipping a lot." * Leaving a huge mound of accumulated clear coat paint on the edge of my door, and hoping I wouldn't notice. Failing to repair the flaw, and instead covering it with door-edge guards without even asking me first. * Failing to reassemble my door correctly, resulting in an intermittent popping sound on the driver side. Their attempt at resolving this issue was to spray soapy water into the door- NO JOKE! They said that the soapy water fixed it and failed to acknowledge the issue after that, so I had to take my car into Eastside Subaru where they confirmed that the bolts were not tightened properly within the door, and there were also non-oem bolts resulting in the door flexing in/out when opening it from the inside. This cost me $150 out of pocket which GEICO had to refund to me personally. * The bumper they replaced popped out of place again months after they completed the work. Probably because they did it wrong, like they do everything. After having them work on the bumper again, now the issue is even worse and I can see the clips on the passenger side of the car. I have no recourse to get this fixed because the shop is useless and I'm out of energy after 6 visits. * The paint on the door flaked off months after they completed the work. They painted it again and I'm actually anticipating that it will flake all over again in a few months. Can't wait! * Telling me that what appeared to be a giant scratched area on the back of my car was actually there when I dropped it off. Denying that they detailed my car even though I have a text from Jameson saying that the car "was in detail." The marked up area clearly had brush strokes and it was obvious that it was the result of someone unskilled detailing the car. They ended up buffing it out, thank god they could do something right. * Getting grease and grime all over my steering wheel and pedals every single time I visited. Never removing the floor mat protector paper before handing the car off to me. * Having rude front desk women who fail to make eye contact or even say, "Hi," when you are there to pick up your car for the sixth time. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE- YOU WILL BE SORRY! read more

When your teenager with only a drivers permit runs into a light pole; this is the place to go! I decided to pay out of pocket instead of file a claim and they helped me keep the cost down without sacrificing the quality of the job.. I am surprised to read the poor reviews because I had nothing but a great experience. The front office staff came out and greeted me right away and were very professional. They kept me updated on the status of my car and the work was completed in the time estimated.
