I took my 4Runner to Millen and they went to great lengths on a very difficult pain match. It was nearly impossible to get the color blended right and tinted right because the car had been painted previously in the same area. It's a difficult thing to explain, but they got it just right. I couldn't be happier Since this car was done I recently took another car to them they worked their magic again and got it looking good as new. I called a few times and every time I did they were responsive and answered all my questions without making me feel like I was the know-nothing car owner that I am. Im not sure where this shop has been all my life but I'm never going anywhere else. The people who run this shop are just fantastic. My car, that seems to be cursed, has made its way to Millen auto body 3 times in the last month. Every time I walk away feeling so much better then when I arrived. Greg and Jason were so helpful and explained everything to me so I wasn't surprised when I saw the costs. All I had to do was show up and in a blink of an eye it was fixed. Alright, so I managed to dent the inside panel of the driver's door on my 2018 Ridgeline - I obviously wasn't listening when my dad told me to try not to close the door on the seat belt buckle. The dent was substantial, but I never would have noticed it, except that the dent doesn't allow the "Door Closed" switch to engage, so the "Door Open" indicator is always on, so the remote key doesn't work, and the interior lights are always on, and you get the idea. When I went into Millen Autobody, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the photos on the wall of a beautiful Nash Metropolitan slightly tricked out - the wheelie bars are a giveaway that this ain't your mama's Nash, but as the story goes, it actually is - and I knew I was among people that like cars. That matters to me. Greg checked my problem out and wrote up an estimate for the "simple" version of a fix while explaining that if the "simple" version didn't work, the "complicated" version would be a lot more. My insurance company gave it their blessing, and they started working on it on Monday. Late afternoon on Wednesday, Greg called me, and as I bent over and braced myself for the expensive version of the "complicated" solution - the one where they have my truck for a month while I look for a new insurance company - he told me that the job was all done. On Thursday morning, I went down to pick it up. First of all, you would never know anything had ever happened to that door - it looks as good as the day I bought it. In that I was expecting only a repair that you would never notice because you never notice that part of the door anyway, an absolutely perfect repair was a very pleasant surprise. Secondly, and this is the real reason for the five-star review, the truck had been washed and detailed. It positively sparkles, inside and out, from stem to stern all the way down to the floor mats. I REALLY didn't expect that, but it speaks to the care that these guys give to the customer and the quality of the work they produce. Happy isn't good enough - they want you to be blown away, and I was. I'm sort of hoping to not be a regular customer, but if I ever need anything done again, this is my go-to place. Well what can I say about this Co? I have had the 'Misfortune' of having to Hire Millen for all 3 of my vehicles. 1st one, rear-ended by old lady, horrible damage (Millen did Briliant Work to repair our poor sweet vehicle!!), 2nd one, Truck crossed multiple lanes in heavy downpour to exit motorway, took out smallest vehicle while youngest driving, entire Driver's side replaced (Millen perfectly Taken care of, Awesome done), Sadly, 3rd, HIT/SMASHED by idiot school coach transferring lanes w/out looking, smashing entire right side. All 3 vehicles, Millen has blessedly repaired so wonderfully & correctly thank goodness. Would definitely recommend them for AutoBody Work.!!! read more

I cannot describe the HORROR story that has transpired since I took my prized 2013 T/X Baja Toyota Tacoma to Millen Autobody after I put it in the ditch. They ended up replacing the left front fender, and left front door (skin) and painting the entire left side of my vehicle. Initially when I picked the car up I noticed there was a shotgun blast pattern of little dimple marks in the rear driver's side door around and below the handle, and was told there must have been some contamination (water?) in the paint line, and that they would sand and buff it out. A couple hours later they said it was ready, and when I came to pick it up there was still compound all over the door, and you could see where they had obviously sanded it. Fast forward to the next day, and after washing it, I noticed in the sunlight that there was a milky haze where they had sanded on it and tried to fix it. So I took my truck back for a second time, and again after picking it up, washing it, and examining it in the sunlight, there were deep swirl marks all over the rear door and extending into the front door. At this point I took my car to a couple other shops, Accurate in Redmond, and Carriage in Bothell, and they both said it would require repaining to fix the issues, and they pointed out a host of other issues, such as a bizarre line running down the middle of the front left door that had clear-coat overspray to the left side of it, as well as a tape line which appeared as a straight line dent when you sight down the car. And furthermore at this time I also noticed Millen Autobody had missed a tiny ding down low on the little section of cab between the rear door and the bed. And by this time things were starting to get a bit tense between me and the shop. So I asked my insurance agent to act as a go-between, and after meeting with Millen we agreed to give them the benefit of the doubt, and let them have one more shot at addressing the quality defects I had called out in both doors, and to have the car detailed right. And Nationwide agreed to re-open the insurance claim to fix the little ding down low in the cab which would require removing the bed and rear window, and blending clear-coat all along the top of the doors and down the left side column of the windshield to the fender. And Neil Millen, who works in the front office, said "they would take care of it," speaking to my concerns regarding the swirl marks, tape line, and bizarre line defects in my left doors. Finally after getting the car back today, and taking it home and washing it and looking it over, they've now sanded the bejesus out of the cab, both doors, and into the front fender in such an amateur and haphazard manner, that both my left doors are completely covered in deep swirl marks, every square inch of them, to such an extent that the side of my car that Millen Autobody repaired and painted looks so extremely horrid that there is almost no conceivable way you could imagine a professional and reputable car shop could give a car back to a customer in this state. Furthermore, there are big long white scratches in the cab area around my doors where they just worked, overspray on my mirror, leather interior, and tri-fold, as well as a couple of fresh nicks in the edge of my tri-fold, and inch away from where they had just been working to remove my back window. Needless to say I was in tears when I noticed all these defects combined with the deep swirl marks now covering nearly the entire left side of my vehicle. Bottom line, if you care about your vehicle, and only wash it by hand as I do, and expect to have quality work done, and are also looking for good customer service, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER TAKING YOUR CAR (OR TRUCK) TO MILLEN AUTOBODY! Please take the time to check out some of the pictures detailing the hideous paint job MIllen Autobody did on the left side of my truck, and the increasing amount of damage they have done to it after three subsequent attempts at fixing THEIR initial screw up (contaminants in the paint line). UPDATE (10/20/14): I spoke with the owner today, and we agreed to try and address the issues one more time. I plan to update my review and photos after I get my truck back from the shop. Pro's: friendly staff Cons: very dishonest and slow. Terrible communication. My company works with a fleet management company which contracts based on price. So, Millen ostensibly has competitive prices; I brought my car in for a very minor dent to a side panel. I had arranged it so that Millen would have the part long before I dropped off the car. They promised the car back in 3-4 days. After over a week I called; didn't even call me back. I had to get fleet management company to call them. They ordered additional parts that were not needed in order to inflate the repair price, and didn't call me for permission because obviously I'd never have given it. This happened three times and the minor repair took almost four weeks. Do not bring your vehicle here!! read more

I have to say that the service I received at Millen Autobody was beyond expected to say the least! To give you a little background: The parking garage at our apartment has leaked some calcium onto our Mazda3. It has left (what I thought to be) permanent marks on the hood, front bumper, rear bumper, rear quarter panel and trunk lid. Several others in our building have spent lots of money to have their cars repaired from the same damage. I went to 2 body shops to get estimates before heading over to Millen. The first quoted me at just under $2700, and the other was just over $2000. They advised me that they would both need to remove the headlights and taillights, sand the body pieces, and then repaint them to get rid of the permanent milky-white spots (some the size of a quarter to a silver dollar). I wanted to get three bids, so Millen was my third stop. To be honest, walking into the office I almost turned around. It's a bit dated and not the cleanest. At face value, I didn't want them to use that level of care on my car, so I almost left. However, before I could leave, a man who I later learned to be the owner (Neil Millen) greeted me kindly and came out to give my car a look. I told him what had happened, and that he was my third stop. He said, "let me try something", and went back inside the shop for a second. He then returned with a bottle of something and some towels. I couldn't believe my eyes when he started to scrub the calcium off of my car. The spots were literally disappearing! Not only did he have a solution for my problem, but he actually spent about 20 minutes of his time, standing outside where it was below freezing to scrub the spots off my car. When the spots were all completely gone, I asked what I owed him and he said "nothing". I even offered to at least buy him lunch or coffee which he declined as well. How could somebody like Neil Millen offer to do 20 minutes of work for free in a world where people are so greedy with their time and money? I am more than amazed and thankful. There needs to be more people like him in the world. Mr. Millen: Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness. I will happily return to your shop next time I need anything. First off, these guys are honest and will give you a very fair assessment of damages and costs. My husband and I first used Millen Autobody about 15 years ago when another car backed into our CK1500 passenger side front panel. We could not have been more pleased with the work. BURT (Big Ugly Red Truck) came back looking far better than he had before the accident (everything was cleaned, polished, etc., ). They worked with the insurance company and we had no problems at all with the claim or cost of repairs. Last year they completely replaced a damaged door on my Honda Ridgeline as it was significantly less expensive to replace the door vs. fix it. Dave spent a lot of time explaining the extent of the damage and all possible repair scenarios to me. He had another member of the crew confirm the damage/repairs. I was exceptionally pleased with the work and a car-buff friend of mine confirmed the quality of the replacement/color matching. Price-wise, Millen was a tad less expansive than another very well regarded shop in the area. The topping on the cake was that my dog hair infested truck had been cleaned up and looked way better on the interior than it had when I dropped it off. Last Friday, a deer jumped off an embankment and hit the driver side of the front bumper as she landed. It happened in a hairpin turn on the Olympic Peninsula at about 22mph. She left a good dent in my less-than-a-week-old Subaru Forester. I tried for over an hour at home to repair the damage myself with no success (not enough strength or hot enough hair dryer). When I brought the car in, the gal I spoke with said "hand me your keys" and drove the car into the shop. In what I swear was less than 7 or 8 minutes, the Subie was back, minus the dent, with only a bit of cracked paint (which happened when the deer hit the bumper.. wish Subies just had black plastic bumpers like my old Element). I asked what I owed them and she said "Nothing!". I tried to pay her something and she wouldn't have it. Neil and his crew are down-to-earth, value your patronage, and always make you feel like your car is every bit as important as some one's brand new Porsche or Mercedes. I also think he has had many of the same employees for decades. That in itself says a lot about the shop and the sort of business Millen Autobody is. Top notch all the way. read more

Top notch work and down to earth service. I was rear ended by a Metro bus on the 520 bridge. Damaged the back end of my beloved truck. I visited many shops looking for a place that would take care of my truck and bring it back to what it was before the accident. The team at Millin took great care of both of us. They kept me informed of what was happening throughout the repair process. They went to bat for me when they needed to make repairs beyond the initial estimate. The truck looks brand new and I don't think it has been as clean since I drove it off the showroom floor. I'd recommend them to *anyone* needing repair work done. Wife's Prius was smacked from behind which pushed her up into car in front of her, so had damage to both the back and front of the car. Was at Millen for quite awhile and came out looking and operating great. Recently had an undercarriage protective panel detach at one corner that was most likely related to the accident but who's to say. Attempted to fix myself, using the useless parts dept at Kirkland Toyota, but was given the wrong part. Took the panel off, wife drove over to Millen and they fixed it right away. Easy. Look these guys make the process of getting your car fixed easy. They even go the extra mile like detailing the entire car, fixing road rash on a rim, clear coating an entire body panel instead of just the damaged area to ensure a perfect finish. This is the only place I'll trust my car with. And here's why - when you're at an autobody shop, you're already upset about whatever happened to your vehicle, and nervous about the costs. The last thing you want is being treated poorly, or your vehicle not fixed right or getting overcharged. First off, their customer service is unparalleled. Greg, Brittany and Nick are phenomenal! They take care of you. They remember you, your dog, your kids... you get it. There's no judgement. They get quotes to you quickly, work with the insurance company to make everything seamless. Once they have the parts, they call and pencil you into their calendar. Usually takes about a week or two depending on what parts they need to procure. They call again and re-confirm your appointment a few days before. They arrange for the rental car to come pick up at their store. A few days later, the vehicle is a good as new. Seriously, even better than it had been before. The whole side of my car had been brought back to new condition and folks wouldn't believe me when I told them I had been in a wreck! I found customer service to be right at bottom and also a ripoff. Went with scratch on my car and the representative without much talk took Photos of the scratch and did not talk anything, this is not a good feeling at all especially I was looking at what options he would suggest. Then later handed over an estimate of couple thousand dollars. I asked him about Insurance and he was uninterested to answer my question and said it depends and you should talk to Insurance blah. Also their office itself is uninviting and looks like a workshop. Compare this to another dealer accurate auto body saloon. The office was looking great, they also offered coffee ! and the representative was a honest person and gave us many options and he was answering any question we asked. He mentioned how would Insurance take this and how would the dealer would take it if we return the car. He insisted we go for buffing and then decide to go for claim. He was really helpful in deciding and a true professional. Later what do you know with just $40 all scratch gone with just buffing. Another car hit my car and caused damage. This body shop is recommended by the other driver's insurance company. The guy did the estimation saying "good, good, good" in front of me. Then he informed the insurance company that the damage were pre-existing and should not be covered. I feel being stabbed from behind. I went there again with the photos taken at the accident's scene. The guy refused to look at those photos. Very arrogant. Now I have to go through my own insurance company to settle this. Stay away! read more

Repairs are professional and highly appreciated when revealed to us the customers. Brought in my dads crashed Chevy and they did a very quick estimate and gave me a direct quote on the spot. I have so much to say but let me start by saying that if you want someone to care for your vehicle like you would take care of your vehicle, this is the place. I love my car. I take good care of my things and I admit, my car actually isn't worth that much so, I wouldn't expect anyone else to love my car like I do. If anyone is going to be detailed and have quality in their work, I'm thankful that this establishment does just that. Service: Friendly staff and feels like a locally owned and run shop. I mean, Mr. Millen sits and assists on the first desk after all. I fortunately interacted with all the front staff there during my experience and they were all so professional and were very knowledgeable on ALL my needs. I did not expect for them to be so helpful and work so closely with the paperwork involved, the insurance people and communications, rental car logistics, customer lingo in the front and mechanic talk in the back, and damage assessment with every vehicle knowledge (forensics). How does one place do so much so well? Results: The insurance did not want to fix some things due to the current condition of my car. I expected them to just fix the things that were covered and that was that. It was clearly communicated and with justified reasoning. They worked out everything seamlessly without me having to deal with any of it. So that being said, did they need to go the extra mile to make the best of what it was? They made my car look brand new even though they couldn't order new parts. On top of that, it was entirely external damage. Did they have to go over and beyond and clean the inside of the car too? I was all ready to detail the interior when I got the car back only to notice that they cleaned it already! I know it's not an everyday thing and I would never expect that on every visit but I have to give them super kudos for taking such great care of my vehicle. It really shows by the quality of their work and attention to detail that they really love what they do and enjoy helping people, putting smiles on their customers faces. I really don't know how to thank you for all that you have done and to tell you that the results were amazing. My car thanks you too. :) I hope I don't have to see you guys again but if I do. . .
