This is a perfectly good spot to eat in Lakeview. Good portions, good food, cheap prices and a family atmosphere. Staff is helpful and friendly. Every night of the week they have some kind of special: Monday Kids Night Tuesday Fried Chicken Night Wednesday Steak Night Thursday Wine-O Night Friday Seafood Night Saturday BBQ Night Sunday Waffle Brunch They have great seafood dishes and hot boiled seafood every night and a good po boy menu.

Delicious fried fish! Can be a tad pricey for general grocery, but easy in and easy out can be worth every penny;)

Yummy buffet (try the fried catfish!); lots of options! The hamburger po-boy was a little overcooked but still good.

Might be just an off day. The Puppy Drum fish special was really good. Nicely seared. The fried gulf Shrimp was really good. The only thing that I didn't like was the hush puppies. I prefer the flavor to be a little more sweet--these were a little bit saltier than I am used to. The Charbroiled oysters today were just okay. I felt like the whole plate had too much butter, lacking in a little more seasoning today. Overall, I think this little cozy spot is perfect to have a casual dinner. A solid 3.75. I think since this place is new, there is plenty of time to work out the kinks.

Bryan was our server and he was friendly and had great recommendations. I did the Reveillon which was 4 courses and I enjoyed it. The crab cake was my appetizer and it was my least favorite of the 4 courses. It wasn't bad but it was wowing. I really enjoyed the seafood boil bisque. The flavor was perfect and not overly spiced. My entree was the royal red shrimp pasta and it was good. I did have to add a dash of salt and pepper but the flavor was great with lots of fresh garlic. I finished with the chocolate bread pudding which was good but after the 1st 3 courses I couldn't finish. I hope more people check out this restaurant before we lose yet another restaurant in Lakeview. Ill be back to try the charbroiled oysters and seafood boil.

One restaurant that locals constantly recommended to me was Drago's Seafood in Metairie, and now I completely understand why. I ordered the charbroiled oysters along with the crawfish platter that came with crawfish étouffée, crawfish mac and cheese, and fried crawfish. Every single thing on the table was incredible. The charbroiled oysters absolutely lived up to the hype rich, buttery, smoky, and packed with flavor. The crawfish platter was just as impressive and gave me a chance to try multiple Louisiana dishes all in one meal. What really stood out to me beyond the food was the service. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and patient with questions from someone who isn't from Louisiana and still learning the local food scene. You can tell they take pride in both the restaurant and the hospitality. The only downside is parking can get a little complicated because the place fills up fast, which honestly says a lot about how popular it is. Just plan ahead or expect a short wait finding a spot. Overall, this is one of those restaurants that feels genuinely loved by locals and absolutely worth visiting if you're traveling through the New Orleans area.

Ordered 1/2 doz chargrilled oysters and the meat pies. For some reason I did not realized the meat pies had ground beef in them; I remembered a different flavor profile. They were good but won't order them again; too many other choices. Chargrilled oysters, on the other hand, is now on my SIL's list of top fav foods. I usually eat mine raw, but these were not too salted and not overcooked. Good job, ACME! SIL ordered the 1/2 shrimp po boy, which was on her hit list of foods for the trip and I had the 1/2 hot sausage patty po boy. Both of us had the jambalaya, which was tasty but not overpowering. Her po boy was loaded with shrimp and I had her try my po boy, since she had never heard of the hot sausage. It was a winner with her as well! We had leftovers, of course. Things were hopping by the time we finished, and it was a bit to get our to go boxes, drink refills and check out, but we'd go back in a heartbeat.

They were a lot larger than the oysters I'm used to back in Maryland but the taste was similar. They were nice and fresh, a little gritty, but that comes with the territory sometimes. We also got the fried alligator and it was so much better than the fried alligator that we had at Mulate's. It's was fresh and crispy. The sauce that it came with was good too, but I'm always gonna go for the Louisiana hot sauce. We also both got a cup of seafood gumbo. It had the perfect dollop of rice in the middle. It was savory and full of flavor. For drinks I got the prickly pear mojito and my boyfriend got a margarita. We really enjoyed our lunch here.

This experience makes me never want to go back. The Old Fashioned was Kool-Aid sweet. One sip we knew it was undrinkable. The server told us we would not get reimbursed for sending it back. One sip - their policy is no returns on beverages. We asked to have it remade and they did. Still candy sweet. And the Old Fashioned got ordered because the first drink - the blue margarita- also was bad. They charged us for both Eve though they were undrinkable. That wasn't the biggest issue though. Two of us got the Blue Crab pasta and two got the Cobb Salad - one with chicken and one with grilled shrimp. The pasta was ok - heavy sauce and hard to find the crab. The grilled shrimp was "meh." Crab claws and calamari for appetizers. Both had poor quality shredded parmasean cheese on them. Why? We picked the sautéed crab claws that were chilled. The Caesar dressing like sauce was too heavy and not great. The crab claws by themselves probably would have been good. And the cocktail sauce - came from a jar or something. Lacked flavor and tasted like low grade ketchup. Again we've loved Blue Crab for years. No need to go back with so many other choices in New Orleans. The view is spectacular. I hope they return to what they used to be. Y'all let me know if they do.

He told us about the specials and my mouth was drooling when he said soft shell crab. We started with the smoked salmon dip which was so creamy and delicious. For entrees the hubby had the blackened drum topped with blackened shrimp over Brabant potatoes. He was kind enough to give me a bite and oh boy it was so good. I, of course, had the fried soft shell crab special over smoky asparagus. The crab was topped with more crabmeat and a beurre blanc sauce. The crab was cleaned so well and then lightly fried. It was a very fat crab and every bite was a culinary delight. This was by far the best soft shell crab dish I have ever had. I certainly don't say that lightly because I eat soft shell crabs from the start of the season right up to the end. We were so full that there would be no need to eat dinner. Then Vince of course mentioned the desserts and we chose the chocolate peanut butter doberge cake with chocolate ganache. We told him to make it to go and do not open the box when he brought it to the table! Overall, Station 6 treated us to one of the best meals we have ever had.
