The queso dip was too salty and the flavor was less cheesy than one might expect; I'd bet it was either a processed cheese or canned sauce. Now, the cheese quesadilla was quite nice and it's side of rice was very good. We also tried their wings, mango habanero and parmesan garlic. Both were excellent, although I'd like more heat from the habanero. They were deep fried in clean oil and retained the crispiness when served; just the way they should be. They were sauced appropriately. We shared our disappointment and delight with thee server who was empathetic and apologetic. I'm not sure what to make of the cost at $50. Seemed high for the quality, quantity, and everything being ala carte. I'm also not so sure about the ambiance. They had plenty of tvs on the walls, and I just don't like that outside a sports bar. It was busy, being a Sunday morning especially, but the staff was handling it all well from our perspective . I used to manage restaurants a long time ago and was impressed with the flow. Our waitress, Natalie, was delightful, knew the menu well to describe and answer questions, and we were not wanting for anything. She checked on us, always grinning and managing the iace well. I had the banana bread pancakes. A perfect choice ! They came and looked like a picture stacked up and flowing down with Carmel, maple bourbon syrup, marzcapone cream and nuts. So delicious. I took half home and enjoyed the rest later. Heated up perfectly with a 20 second zap in micro. My son had the corn beef hash skillet and said his was just as good as mine.
