Great breakfast omelets! Definitely bring cash with you too. Not the coziest breakfast atmosphere but good food and good service.

Very good food and plenty of it. Very clean, friendly staff. Several times checking if your food is good or if you need anything else.

Fresh, locally sourced and delicious menu options, fast and hospitable service!…read more We were worried that the wait time would be long but it was just long enough to enjoy the outdoor garden boxes and sun. Even though we are visiting Duluth during this crazy time of the wild fires, Duluth Grill made our trip worth it! They have a streamlined process for getting seated, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and local area. My family ordered the usual staples: biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage, and bacon/eggs/sausage. All were hearty portions and perfectly prepped. I tried the "Triple B" which turns out to be a Midwest version of Bibimbop. Made with manoomin (wild rice), beef/pork mix, kimchi, marinated kale- probably my fave of the dish. The combo is a deliciously perfect power meal to start any day and weekend right! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the care they take in procuring local ingredients- even their kale and some herbs are from their own lil garden. I highly recommend the Duluth Grill, there's something for everyone! We will definitely stop by on our next trip out to Duluth.

We had checked reviews and saw there were some reviews indicating this restaurant was not as good as it used to be. We decided to see for ourselves as the menu, other positive reviews sounded like it was an incredibly good place to go. It is. It was. It was busy, being a Sunday morning especially, but the staff was handling it all well from our perspective . I used to manage restaurants a long time ago and was impressed with the flow. Our waitress, Natalie, was delightful, knew the menu well to describe and answer questions, and we were not wanting for anything. She checked on us, always grinning and managing the iace well. I had the banana bread pancakes. A perfect choice ! They came and looked like a picture stacked up and flowing down with Carmel, maple bourbon syrup, marzcapone cream and nuts. So delicious. I took half home and enjoyed the rest later. Heated up perfectly with a 20 second zap in micro. My son had the corn beef hash skillet and said his was just as good as mine. We both agreed that we had no idea why reviews were negative, especially going on a busy morning. We will be going back every time we visit. I recommend you do too.

If you want high society or something frilly, you'll find yourself disappointed. If you want a paved parking lot, check elsewhere. Adequately staffed, it handled a nice-sized late lunch crowd without problems. The whiteboard displayed breakfast specials; however, Wednesday afternoon didn't offer any lunch specials. The menu for lunch wasn't huge but offered up a fair amount of choices to satisfy most tastes. My partner ordered a California burger and fries. While messy, it was a good-sized burger. I had the Reuben sandwich and fries. It was a filling sandwich and had good flavor. I think both my partners and I would agree that it wouldn't hurt the cooks to throw a few more French fries in the oil when filling fry orders. While there are a couple of fast food restaurants in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in at Wendy's for breakfast or lunch. I know we will try it again in the future.

Four of us went there on a Saturday morning and had a fabulous breakfast - eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, French toast, English muffins - we had it all. Only downside was - their coffee was not very good - they should consider premium coffee and an espresso machine to up their game in the coffee area.

First of all, this restaurant was good. Get the steak with the baked potato. You won't regret it…read more Having said that, be prepared to pay upscale restaurant, Chicago prices for your meal and drinks. My 6 ounce, steak dinner was $52. Also, the $18 martini and $15 glass of wine really threw me for a loop (especially because it was a teeny 'tini). The only reason I mention this is because we tried to find the prices online before we went but none were listed on the menu I saw on the restaurant's website. So, IF you don't mind paying very steep prices for a nice dinner out in northern Wisco, then go to Tally Ho. The complimentary relish tray was a nice touch but at prices like these the restaurant should forgo the cheap, plastic cups (with lids) they serve the pickled appetizers in. And the prepackaged crackers they come with should be replaced with something a little fancier. It was very tacky, and they could have presented the tray in a more tasteful way. Other than that, I recommend Tally Ho. It's overpriced for sure but it was good. Would I go back? Maybe but only for a special occasion.
