I first heard about this restaurant after attending a Yelp event. I really enjoyed the food back then, so I told a friend about it and decided to come back together to try it again. The restaurant has a great vibe and they play really good music. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We ordered the LaLa Burger, which was absolutely fire. The fries, however, were disappointing this time. I had them before and they were great, but during this visit they were extremely hard, almost like they had been cooked twice in the oil. We mentioned it to the waitress, and she apologized and gave us a discount. For dessert, we had the chocolate chip cookie, and honestly, it was one of the best cookies I've ever eaten. Overall, despite the fries, we still had a good experience and would come back for the burgers and desserts.

I went to Lala's Burgers & Fries thinking it would just be a quick bite, but it ended up being a really great experience. The food was awesome everything tasted fresh , and you can tell they put real care into what they serve. The service was also on point, which is a big thing for me, and it definitely made the experience even better. Music wasn't too loud so you could hold a conversation. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back.

This place is worth trying! Highly recommended , I had trepidation as I'm not big on burgers. Knowing they were smashed burgers we decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did! Small space but didn't feel overcrowded. Our server Celeste was very friendly and courteous going over the items in the menu. Last but not least , the food was delicious! We had the cheese bites , Lala Burger- which was amazing ( warning- saucy but worth it) and onion rings ( the Best ; perfectly fried... no soggy onions). Even the manager Alexis took the time to go to every table to see how it was going. Note to self: next time I'll make room for dessert.

My husband and I were driving around the area and trying to figure out what we wanted to eat. I remembered that Lala's had opened on Kendall Drive. As we pulled up, we were able to find parking out front. As soon as we entered, we were greeted promptly and told we could sit wherever we felt most comfortable. Our waitress came over promptly and told us the three additional off menu items available for the day. Funny enough, we had been looking at the menu and had made our minds up, but when she told us a specials, we both picked from the special menu. I had the buffalo chicken with the blue ranch on the side. My husband had a double smash burger with Havarti cheese, jalapeños, bacon. We also ordered the guava bites as an appetizer and a side of fries for the both of us to share. My chicken sandwich came out and it had a great crispy crust, but still fin. The lettuce and pickles were great balance with the buffalo flavor which was not very spicy. My husband's burger was enormous. He thought he should've gotten a single patty after we saw how big it was. But he said the flavors were really good and it was too much. He could only eat half the burger. The fries are yummy here and they bring it with this really great barbecue mayo sauce. Everything was really yummy. The staff was really nice and came by multiple times to check in on us and make sure that we were having a good time. We will definitely be back.

Stopped by Lala's new Kendall location and it was a hit! Split the Maxwell and the Bacon with a friend. Both were delicious, had good flavor and were cooked well. We went double smash as our patty option. The Maxwell has hot honey, chopped pepperoni, and queso frito. The Bacon has bacon jam and sizzle sauce. I favored the Maxwell but neither would disappoint. I fact, I was so excited to dig in that I forgot to take pictures of the food. Fries were hot, seasoned well with a crispy outside. They were served with ketchup and a zesty sauce. The decor is similar to a modern farmhouse bbq style restaurant. If you want a cool and unique experience, sit in the pit! Service was great and friendly, and the food came out quickly.

I had the pleasure of eating at Lala's for lunch and having one of the most delicious burgers ever "The Bacon"! I normally avoid burgers with bacon because 99% of the time they're disappointing, this was that 1% where everything ingredient mixed write to make flavor heaven! Aside from the burger the staff was great! I went with my four year old and they were friendly to both of us helping to make it a nice time out. Not every place is truly kid friendly so I am grateful for the ones that are. Thank you Lala's, see you again soon!

I've tried too smash burgers including skinny Louie's and cowy and I can confidently state this took 1st place. Not greasy, flavorful meat, crispy edges, fresh bun and the list goes on! The brownie is the best restaurant bought in kendall! I was greeted by friendly staff, shout out to Crystal and atmosphere was lowkey and laidback. Looking forward to our return!

Lala Burgers used to be a Tuesday only pop-up at Apocalypse Barbecue, and I'm so glad they finally have their own spot now. It's great knowing that whenever the craving hits for a juicy burger, you can swing by any day of the week and get your fix. I went with some friends, and we each ordered something different ...I had the Timba burger, one friend got the Bacon, and another tried the lala. These smash burgers are about 5 ounces each, so if you're thinking of doubling up, just know it's going to be massive. I've tried the McLala's, the Classic before, and I'll admit I'm more of an Original girl when it comes to bothers. While I was hoping to love the Timba the classic is the way to go ! As for appetizers though, i am so glad we went with both! We got the queso frita with guava sauce which were perfectly crispy, cheesy, and just the right amount of sweet and savory. But the star of the night was their new special cheeseburger bacon croquetas in béchamel sauce. Holy moly, they have to keep these on the menu. They had this corndog like crispy cornflake texture on the outside with flavorful meat inside, creamy sauce, and a hint of lime that tied everything together. I'd honestly come back just for those. Crossing fingers that they stay!

Last Thursday, took a few friends here to check out Lala's before they say farewell to Lincoln's Beard before 11/23 and more onto a permanent Brick n Mortar spit in the nearby future. Great staff and ordering was simple. They guy gave great advice to choose the Bacon smash with Bacon jam and pickled jalapeños. Oh my god it was fabulous all the way around! Savory, a Lil sweet and tingly on the mouth. Soft and a little messy (thats ok). Yum! For the fries, they had quite a lot at the bottom of the bag (super nice) and the flavor was almost like peanut oil (?) IDK but tasted good and not too salty. However the texture I felt was a little overcooked or a bit tought to chew on. They weren't really soft fries. Ill have to try em again in their new location but definitely will be back!. Oh the ordering was simple and since we went early, my order was done quickly and the guy came inside to find me at the bar ordering! That will be the biggest thing missed. A huge brewery with a superb burger. Well let's see what their new location has in store!

We were in the mood for burgers today, so I thought of Lala's. We tried Lala's at SOBEWFFs Burger Bash. (Our whole group gave Lala's our token votes). This was our first time at the restaurant. We came in at noon. Initially they only gave us the breakfast menu but we asked if we could get lunch and they brought us the burger menu. They have some great options for BF and Lunch, like our sever said 'we came at the perfect time to enjoy the best of both worlds'. We opted for lunch. We got a classic, mclala, a timba, and fries. Everything was delicious. My husband said the Timba was a perfect balance of flavors. The McLala was, , chef's kiss! My daughter loved her burger too. She got the classic plain. The fries were so crispy and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend you give them a try.

    Dessert done right.

Search up the perfect burger in Kendall, I wondered into Lala's burgers. And that is where I indeed found it. A simple menu. A cozy restaurant. A close by location. Superb service. And what is arguably one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I just love this place. OK, so here's why. Let's start with the menu. Now it has changed slightly since they first opened but still remains quite simple. Chicken and beef burgers. More recently the return of the Smashburger. hotdogs. Fries, onion rings, and pickle chips. And the best darn brownie you'll ever eat for dessert. That's it. Oh yeah, don't forget the homemade rolls. You can't put a burger on a better roll. Of course I'm coming here for the food. I must admit I can't really get past the bacon burger. The others are good, but the imagination that went into perfectly the balancing the ingredients on this burger resulting in just pure deliciousness earns my burger loyalty. I get it every time I come. American cheese, "sizzle sauce", onion tangiers, pickled medley, and bacon jam on top of their delicious meat. How come I'm not even sure what some of that stuff is. But somehow the combination is just the right balance of ingredients for incredible flavor in every bite. I also love the LaLa and McLala, but they just don't measure up to my favorite. And the Timba is just too weird for me. I personally can't go with cream cheese on a burger. The fried queso is wonderful. The french fries are crisp and delicious. The onion rings. Remind me of the old burger, joint onion rings. And the pickle chips are surprisingly delicious. And the brownie, ooh that gooey brownie, it is worth getting even if you're full. Just bring it home for some perfect perfection a little later. I love this place. I love the way the staff treats the customers. I love the way. The food always comes out perfect. And I love that. I can be there in five minutes from my home. Visit Lala's for your burger cravings. I'm confident you'll love it as much as I do.

We loved everything about the experience here. Th e service was friendly, attentive and constant. The ambiance was calm, and lit well. The food was delicioussss. The only one item we did not enjoy was a special they had cheeseburger croquettas. But every burger and side we ordered was insane. We had the Maxwell (fireee!!) , the mcLala in chicken( bomb.com) , the classic, the French fries and the queso frito bites.

I've happily admitted over the years that I love a good burger and will chase down any that are argued to be the newest, most delicious one in town. This latest mission took us to Lala's, part of the infamous Apocalypse BBQ family, and can gladly admit, this little burger joint is firing on all cylinders. It's impressively run by Lala and her standout staff, and that level of attention is felt from the jump. They came highly recommended, and now I fully understand the hype. I'm calling it now, she's got herself some of the best tasting smash burgers in Kendall. The menu is tight and intentional, a short list that reflects exactly what she's good at. Our crew tried out the Bacon, the Maxwell, and the Chicken McLala together with her cheesy bites, pickle chips and onion rings. The Bacon burger was my choice, mainly because pickled jalapeños will always tickle my spicy fancy. It has a sweet, spicy finesse without being overpowering. As Goldilocks would say, it's just right, a heat level anyone can enjoy. They bake their buns in house daily, which in my book is the foundation of any great burger. Add the onion tanglers and bacon jam, and this one easily earns top tier status. Hubs let me sneak a bite of his Maxwell, and that hot honey paired with a thick slice of queso frito has serious Miami classic written all over it. The crispy chicken thigh in the McLala was so juicy and crunchy you'll wish you had room for both a smash burger and a chicken sandwich in one sitting. They also feature a solid little local craft beer lineup that sells out rather quickly, so if you see something you like, grab it before it's gone. It's the perfect pairing to wash down all that yumminess. The cheese bites and pickle chips almost filled the room we all reserved for the burgers because they were fresh, indulgent, and hard to resist. If I had one note, it would be to slightly reduce the portion sizes of the bites so the group can better enjoy the apps without tapping out early. Otherwise, this is absolutely a must try. And then there was dessert. We were told we had to try La Suegra, and I'm still not sure where we found the room, but wow, that stupendous blondie never stood a chance. Filled with guava and cream cheese and topped with vanilla ice cream and Maria cookies, it was pure chaos in the best way. One of our buddies never had a blondie here before and is now a hardcore fan thanks to Lala's very bad influence. I highly recommend everyone stop by Lala's and give them a try. This place is doing something right, and it absolutely deserves a spot on your must eat list.

A month ago I wanted to go again and remembered that there was more than one location. Came to find out one closer to me situated across FIU on 107th ave. All of the sudden the 107 in the name made sense. I asked if that location was the 'OG', and they confirmed it was and hence the seemingly random name. Service was good. There's a mix of regular folks and students (both servers and dining), which ensures pricing remains reasonable in order to cater to student budgets. I found pricing to be the same at both locations. I ordered the same Mama Pork Fried rice with an extra of shrimp, and I have to say, it was just as delicious as the Gables restaurant. I went again just yesterday, and food was just as delicious. I can't bring myself to order any other dish because it's so delicious. Dish flavor, look and texture are consistent too, not just within the same restaurant, but at least across those two locations I've visited, and I've attended twice to both locations ordering the same fried rice - it is always 'identically delicious'. I tried my friend's dishes, and they were all good, and while they wouldn't be my choice, they were all yummy. Their dishes tend to be a bit on the gooey side, but I love that, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant. The ambience is basic, but definitely a more elevated look than that of your typical Chinese restaurant. I highly recommend

Since they've moved to this bigger location, they've done nothing but grow themselves into a restaurant that has tasteless food, charges WAY too much money or overcharges you, as I will show from my pictures. They seem to have lost all those family values and now just sell food that has very little flavor. What the southerners say is, "they got a little too big for their britches." Today, after a very long time of not going there, I thought to try again as I used to love having their crunchy little hard shelled tacos. Since today is $2 taco day, what better day to go, right? As you can see, from the first image, these are being sold as their $2 tacos. I can assure you these are not even close to being actual or normal sized tacos. They're more like little chips. They got the smallest little flower tortilla they could find, put a little bit of meat on there and some toppings, and that's what they're calling their "tacos." They didn't even have any flavor to them. Then I asked for a little bit of their salsa, which I used to love getting their salsa and chips for free. The girl charged me $1.50 for this teensy little thing of salsa and didn't disclose that to me. I get the bill that I think is going to be $6.00, and when I questioned her because it was over $8.00, only then did she disclose the $1.50. She also did not provide me or my friend an itemized bill even when she took my credit card. If you're going to charge that much money for something so small, the waiter or bartender should disclose that to the customer so they have a choice as to whether they want to pay that much money for something so small. This used to be a great place to eat with really good, tasty food, and now it's just become a flavorless, overpriced mexican restaurant. Very sad. I will never spend my money there again. I wouldn't suggest you do either.
