I agree to disagree with my fellow Yelpers. There is NO WAY that Lamberti's deserves a 2.9 status. Y'all are craaaaaaazy. Please note: my husband and I visited here LDW weekend, Friday- to be specific. 1. Our reservation was at 7pm and we were seated right away. This is restaurant, is massive, btw. 2. The service was nearly perfect. Honestly, if anything, the dinner went too fast, but I am not going to complain. 3. If you know the area, you know what you're getting into, price wise. It's Margate, NJ- what were you expecting?! ...the worst part of the whole thing is parking. But, again, if you know the area- this typically the case. Just reserve about 10-15 minutes to find parking. We started the evening with some cocktails. I went with the Perfect Sunset, which was a take on a spicy passionfruit margarita. I don't typically opt for tequila-based beverages, but it was good! J got a dirty martini (with blue cheese olives) and thought it was perfected well. To start the meal we went with the barratta special which was accompanied by a variety of fruit, arugula, EVOO, and balsamic drizzle. It was decent. Dinner rolls are complimentary, but nothing to write home about. Most definitely not homemade. For entrees, J went with the Filet which came with roasted potatoes and seasonal veggies. Not only did we agree that the steak was cooked to perfection but it came with a delicious marsala sauce. I went with the Arrogosta pasta which was INSANEEEE! It's MP, which had me unsure, but this portion was huge in every way and packed the flavor I was looking for. This restaurant overlooks the bay and we were lucky to watch the gorgeous sunset. It's handicap accessible, and the dress code is casual. Yes, it's a loud restaurant- but as expected by how large it is. I don't care what these other people are saying, we will most definitely be returning.

Beautiful view, server Vincenzo, was attentive, and had excellent recommendations. The food was wonderful taste and plenty. Price was a bit much but you are also paying for the location. I would give this meal a 9 out of 10. This time of year you don't have to deal with heat, crowds or flies. It's just a beautiful place to live.

Here is an actual review that factors in if the weight was worth it The service we received from Marissa was fantastic and it was on a busy Saturday evening in August. She was attentive, always providing updates even if something wasn't ready immediately and consistently checked in on us Atmosphere is absolutely amazing. If you want waterfront dining you get it with almost every table indoor and out, amazing view of the bay and sunset! The food was mostly all very good although some items could improve a little. Detailed list below It is pricey but you're in margate on the bay enjoying the most prime waterfront view. You're paying for an overall experience, not just the food Antipasto - good and fresh Margarita pizza - good Meatball and ricotta pizza - very good, ricotta was delicious Alfredo sauce - decent. Could've been more generous with the sauce Zianna - this dish was amazing. The blush sauce was perfect and all the other ingredients were fresh and tasty Vodka sauce - good but not as good as the wash sauce. Was a little too thick and creamy almost like they used cream cheese Filet mignon - pretty good dish Crab cakes - very good dish

Appetizers mid. Drinks mid. Entrees good, steak overdone. Service slow. Ambiance is in between club and 1 star restaurant.

Let me start out by saying that the place itself is not much to look at and the furniture could use an update. It's decorated nicely inside. The service was ok the night we went and it's usually better. They had a huge birthday party (about 15 people) that took a lot of their time. However, the reason to come here is the awesome food. They bring you out three dips and pita for dipping. Each one if fantastic. For my meal I started with the salad topped with Mohammed's spiced vinaigrette. The dressing is so good. For my main I got the Egyptian Flounder with veggies and couscous. It came with a side of tahini to put on top if you like to. The Flounder was moist and delicious. The veggies and couscous were also very good. The portion size is incredible. The attached picture shows my meal, WHEN I WAS FULL AND MY MEAL WAS FINISHED. It came with two big flounder fillets. My wife got the crab bisque as a starter and scallops with lobster sauce for her main. I was able to try both since we had so many leftovers. The crab bisque is probably the best I've ever eaten. My daughter got the salad as well and the lamb stew which she really enjoyed.

So I'm a regular at AC, and I never knew this place existed until I saw a video on Instagram of…read morethem and of course, I had to check it out. From the outside, it looks like an average building, but once you get past those door it's like a whole different world. The inside is so beautiful, and I love the open middle concept, especially with the high ceiling, which lets the natural light in, so it makes everything look even more beautiful. It can also be intimate, as they have sections that can be a little private, so it's great for like dates or if you have a family get together. Also, they are close to the outlet as well and have parking too. I do recommend checking out their hours and menu before going, as they kind of have specific menu options that they offer on certain days. For example, on Fridays and Saturdays, they only have a prefix four-course meal, which each person has to pay $68.99 (we went on Friday). But they have a lot of great options, so you still get to try a variety of their fusion menu options. Especially, considering that if you look at the prices separately for the items that were included, I think it's a really great deal, since it comes with your starter bread, appetizer, soup of the day, entree, and dessert, and they don't skimp on the portion size either. Since it's French, when in Rome, you know I had to go with Escargots à la Bourguignone aka Snail, as this is something I've never tried before. It wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't too terrible for a first-time dish like that. Next was the soup of the day, which was a Afghan lentil soup, which we enjoyed. For the entrees, I got the Uzbeki Palau, which is lamb shank with Afghani rice, and oh my goodness, that lamb shank was so delicious, the bone just slid right off the meat. My friend got the Kofta Chalau, which is meatballs in sauce, and it came with rice as well. He really enjoyed that as he finished the whole plate! To finish it off, we were served Firni for dessert, which is an Afghan rice pudding with chocolate mousse and a piece of baklava. We were so stuffed, it was a lot of good food, and I will definitely go back to try their other menu options, which includes vegetarian as well. Also, it's BYOB as they are Afghan and do not serve alcoholic drinks, so you do have the option to bring your own bottle of wine or liquor if you prefer. Drink options were tea, fresh juices, coffee, and water, no mocktails. Overall had a wonderful time. The service was prompt, our waitress (sorry, I forgot her name) was very friendly, informative, and very attentive. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere is just picture and video worthy, very relaxing, and I did not feel rushed at all either. I will definitely go back whenever I'm in AC.

We dined in on our other two visits. Once for a dinner outside and once for a lunch inside. Our reservation was at 7pm. #1 annoyance- when we ordered water for the table, we were told that they do not serve tap water, you have to buy bottled water for $2.50 a bottle! #2 annoyance- after ordering more than $100 worth of appetizers to share (that is how we like to eat so we can taste a lot of different menu items) and being served a couple apps, we were told that if we did not order entrees we would be charged a $10 sharing charge per person. If we were told that when ordering or it was on the menu, we would have changed our order. Needless to say we had to after all the food, we also had to order an entree that we really did not want and took home. #3 annoyance- After ordering the many appetizers the waiter looked at us funny. When I said that if we wanted more food we would order more, his response was that the kitchen closes at 7:14pm. Really? We just got there at 7 and I can't believe (well, maybe I can) that they didn't have reservations after 7:14pm. #4 annoyance- after eating our mezza and awaiting for our salad we asked for clean plates. We were told that the dishwasher called out and there aren't many clean plates. If you looked around the empty restaurant, all the tables were pre-set with the same small plates, all they had to do was give us plates from another table. The waiter did bring out clean plates after all but had to give us more grief! #5 annoyance- I left the restaurant without saying anything about this horrible experience, but I decided to call the next day so that they could hopefully learn from this and improve. When I asked to speak to the owner or manager I was told that they were busy. I left a message that I was a new customer and had a delicious meal and wanted to give them feedback and left my name and number. You can guess what happened next- absolutely nothing. Needless to say, we will never go back. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this was so frustrating and rude.
