Very interesting restaurant. It becomes super clubby upstairs very early in my opinion. Went for a dinner during a moms weekend (at 730) and it was a little difficult to finish dinner bc by 830 there was a do set up blasting music. I think locals expect this. We also went last year after dinner and it made more sense. But then we went downstairs and sat outside and got drinks from the bar and that was way more relaxing if you're just looking to drink and chat. The food was good but they have huge portions and a sharing fee. So much wasted pasta. But overall yummy. Beautiful view. Definitely expect to pay $100+ per person. read more

Although we didn't dine in, we had a ball at the upstairs bar where the DJ was (went on a touch after 10 pm). He played great music - wow! What an absolutely beautiful and big - HUGE - space! Faux marble, lots of white decor, and soft neon lighting. There's even an elevator! Plenty of tables for dining and a decent amount of plush white high seating around the bar. The bartenders seemed nicer than the "norm," and were doing cool 'Cocktail' movie moves while serving patrons! Incredible bay views - AMAZING sunsets to enjoy! I agree to disagree with my fellow Yelpers. There is NO WAY that Lamberti's deserves a 2.9 status. Y'all are craaaaaaazy. Please note: my husband and I visited here LDW weekend, Friday- to be specific. 1. Our reservation was at 7pm and we were seated right away. This is restaurant, is massive, btw. 2. The service was nearly perfect. Honestly, if anything, the dinner went too fast, but I am not going to complain. 3. If you know the area, you know what you're getting into, price wise. It's Margate, NJ- what were you expecting?! ...the worst part of the whole thing is parking. But, again, if you know the area- this typically the case. Just reserve about 10-15 minutes to find parking. We started the evening with some cocktails. I went with the Perfect Sunset, which was a take on a spicy passionfruit margarita. I don't typically opt for tequila-based beverages, but it was good! J got a dirty martini (with blue cheese olives) and thought it was perfected well. To start the meal we went with the barratta special which was accompanied by a variety of fruit, arugula, EVOO, and balsamic drizzle. It was decent. Dinner rolls are complimentary, but nothing to write home about. Most definitely not homemade. For entrees, J went with the Filet which came with roasted potatoes and seasonal veggies. Not only did we agree that the steak was cooked to perfection but it came with a delicious marsala sauce. I went with the Arrogosta pasta which was INSANEEEE! It's MP, which had me unsure, but this portion was huge in every way and packed the flavor I was looking for. This restaurant overlooks the bay and we were lucky to watch the gorgeous sunset. The owner should be ashamed of himself. I called him 5 times in as many days to straighten out a discrepancy with my credit card and he not only never called me back he had his staff pretend he wasn't in the restaurant. My bank will now handle the fraud perpetrated against me and I will let everyone on the island know about this place. read more

We were lucky to land a reservation at Lamberti's on a summer Saturday evening. We witnessed this place being built, and we were excited to finally visit. Pros: -- Beautiful views. Not a bad seat in the house. I love a good sunset! -- Friendly and knowledgeable staff -- Lots of seafood options Cons: --Loud AF. We were a party of 6 and we could not carry on a group conversation. The upstairs acoustics are abysmal and the music, while nice, is way too loud. It's floor-to-ceiling glass on both sides with marble floors. Nary a sound absorbing panel in the entire restaurant. Echo-chamber deluxe. -- The food was good, not great. My husband's penne vodka was actually the best item of our group. Who would have thought? -- Weird cocktail menu. Nothing ruins a lychee martini by adding lemon juice to it. Why? Request they leave the lemon out. We would return, but not for dinner. We'll stick to basic cocktails and soak in the amazing views. read more

Waited 40 minutes for a table that I had reservation for. The hotess's didn't have a percentage of hospitality, and were acting as if we were a burden. Once we finally sat, they acted completely blind to the fact we were waiting over half an hour for a reservation. Thankfully we were smart enough to schedule a reservation for steven cookies during our waiting time. This place is stunning, and I'd love to go again! Calamari was fantastic, Maximo top notch, Chicken Parm was a table favorite too!!! Our meal was fantastic simply fantastic, but I do have one grievance.... The room where all the large parties were needs some sort of sound absorber installed. We haven't seen our family in 2 years and wanted a nice dinner together which we DID have, but it was far too loud and none of us could hear each other. We also sat next to a family of tweens who couldn't keep their kids seated yet our toddlers behaved. Considering our total bill was over $800, this was a bit frustrating. If they make this change, Lambertis would be an annual trip for us for certain! The main dining room sound seems far more balanced than the side room. Truly a beautiful establishment! read more

Beautiful view, server Vincenzo, was attentive, and had excellent recommendations. The food was wonderful taste and plenty. Price was a bit much but you are also paying for the location. She was attentive, always providing updates even if something wasn't ready immediately and consistently checked in on us Atmosphere is absolutely amazing. If you want waterfront dining you get it with almost every table indoor and out, amazing view of the bay and sunset! The food was mostly all very good although some items could improve a little. Detailed list below It is pricey but you're in margate on the bay enjoying the most prime waterfront view. Showed up on time for my reservation and they claimed to be "backed up" while i saw multiple tables open, they told me to go upstairs to see a hostess to possibly be seated up there (not where i made my reservation for) and then upstairs they claimed to be backed up so they sent me back downstairs, did about two laps around the whole goddamn restaurant just trying to be seated, once seated at 8pm for a 7;30 reservation, we did not have a waiter for 15 minutes. D/T of visit: 9/23/24, 7pm, 3 adults__Parking on a MON night after Labor Day wasn't impossible but I could imagine the nightmare it is in the summer! We had a reservation and we were seated immediately. There were 2 empty tables right behind the hostess stand and we took one. The view of the water was perfect and no one was seated outside on the deck, so it was perfect! There were no linens on the tables so it seemed like a casual place, but based on the high menu prices, I kind of expected it. Also, drinking water was served in disposable plastic cups, so that also was odd (if it was a pizzeria or a casual fish and chips kind of place then I wouldn't think twice). STARTERS: Bread and butter came out quickly, and was very good. My husband and I split a burrata caprese appetizer (which was NOT listed on the menu because I guess it was something they don't always have). In every Italian restaurant (authentic as well as chain) I've ever been to that served burrata, there was always a copious serving of basil leaf, but this one definitely lacked. I think they used spinach leaves. There was a sufficient drizzle of balsamic. My stepson's lentil soup was ok, nothing extraordinary there. ENTREES: Husband had the full bronzino which was served tableside by a lovely gentleman from Naples. He chatted away with us as he carefully removed the flesh from the bones and then asked if we needed anything. My husband asked for more water, but it never came. Our original server never returned to our table until it was obvious we were finished eating. The restaurant was far from being crowded. There were 2 other servers around, but one helped us once at the beginning and then never came back. I had the Pollo San Marco (basically it was Chicken Milanese except it was served over flavorless spring mix salad rather than bright peppery arugula). Fried doneness of the chicken was good, but there was no detectable seasoning that screamed "Italian" to me. There was no side of spaghetti or angel hair or anything - that would've been extra. My stepson had a pasta dish (Primavera). No feedback from him, so it must have just been OK. DESSERT: I had Cappuccino and my husband had Espresso. We each had a scoop of gelato (he had espresso, I had the hazelnut biscotti). Average on all fronts. THE DAMAGE: $252.71 ___ Truly EPIC for the quality of what we got! I'm just glad we didn't have to pay for parking ... that would've added insult to injury! Maybe I would return if I wanted a drink (the wine was very good and not terribly overpriced) and try the pizza, but never again for whatever is NOT listed on the menu. The $30 burrata was OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced and as I said, NO basil made it a sin to serve it. The $15 gelato was also a CRIMINAL price. Never ever would I recommend it for more than $7. Had a reservation for this evening that was made for 3 weeks ago for a party of 5 at 7:00. We got a call during the day that they had booked a larger party and could we come at 7:30, which was fine with us. When our party of 5 arrived the host told us it would be atleast another 30 or longer...he just wasn't sure! No apologies, nothing except...you ket me know what you want to do! VERY POOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS! If you have a party more than 4 make your reservation somewhere else, thank god we called the fine dining room at the Greenhouse and they accommodated us. Being a restaurant that has been all remodeled and you cant sit a party of 5 that had a reservation for over 3 weeks is ridiculous...wont go back! Disappointing experience for a group of ten: * Noise level: We were seated upstairs for our 7:30 p.m. reservation; the space felt more like a wedding hall than a restaurant. Mid-meal the music was cranked up until it became a full-on nightclub--conversation was impossible. * Menu quirks & pricing: The printed menu lists separate cash vs. card prices and even includes a "sharing fee." They also charge extra for olive oil to accompany the complimentary bread--seriously. * Service missteps: Our entrées took ages to arrive. At one point a server set down someone else's dishes at our table; after I'd already placed my knife on a plate they whisked the food away and delivered it to another party--unsanitary and inexcusable. * Food quality: For the high price point, flavors were average at best. Two of us ended up sick the next morning after eating the same dish. * Value: Between the sky-high bill and the nightclub atmosphere, the experience simply wasn't worth it. Service was very poor from The beginning to the end. Asked three times for menus , 5 people four rolls, no salt or pepper no drink menu. After appetizers it was at least 25 to 35 minutes before the meal which was pasta and pizza never asked how our drinks were or if we needed refills. Lamberti's Sunset Marina & Restaurant is a welcome addition to the shore dining scene. I have never had a bad experience at any of the Lamberti's establishment and the streak still stands. This restaurant was a long time coming and I think the time put in pays off. The restaurant has first and second floor bars, outdoor seating and all seating is heavily focused on taking in the water views. The parking lot eases any concern about busy summer nights. The wine list is small but tight and shockingly reasonable. The Italian chardonnay and pinot noir (nero) were great and well worth the modest price. We dined as a small group on a Saturday and the people watching was a bonus, I say no more you have to see to believe Service was attentive, but not overbearing, appetizers and entrees were timed well on delivery so you neither felt rushed or impatient for you meal on a busy Saturday night. The views were another bonus, but so often you get a water restaurant where the view outshines the food. That is not the case here both food and views were on par. We will be back and I would recommend you take the time to enjoy a meal. read more

Food great, management is terrible. The owner Tiffany has zero customer service skills, absolutely horrible. After expressing my frustrations around town with the locals, my understanding is that she has a record of treating her employees like crap and not paying them. They say she would create schedules for the current week on Mondays for that week. All employees were expected to be available at all times, otherwise fired. Just ask around town, they will spill the beans. Only thing keeping them in business is the great chef and food. Otherwise they will not make it more than a year the way she runs a business. if she doesn't like what she does then maybe she should get out of the business. read more

We have been to Lamberti's multiple times since they opened this summer. We have enjoyed the gorgeous decor, the magnificent sunsets, the incredible food and best selection of wines. Delicious food, both lunch and dinner menus have a great selection, and the staff is there to please! They have parking and plenty of boat docking which is key to one of the most convenient restaurant's we can get into in the summer months. Also, they will be having DJ's and dancing in the very near future. Good job! This place is 5 . Thank you for getting it right. read more

Horrible. Hostess took our phone number at 7:50pm for our "30 min wait." 1.5 hrs later after we checked on our reservation and they claimed they never had it. Decided to then order food at the bar, and after waiting an additional hour without food, I asked the bartender to check on our order. Couldn't find it. Food finally came out all at once-dinner and apps ... and cold. We asked to speak to a manager but "she was too busy". Margate has much better restaurants than this. read more

We had dinner reservation for 4 on the sunset deck. Got there and there were no tables which was fine since it was too crowded and no covering from the sun. We were seated upstairs in this large room. The restaurant was really nice looking great view of the sunset but that was it. The bar and food prices where high food was good. The service was slow and the servers were overwhelmed. The upstairs was so loud you had to shout to hear each other. Very poor design of the space nothing to absorb the sound. And they had 3 desserts no menu or prices so we ordered 4 gelatos and when the check came they charged us $60 for 4 scopes of gelato. read more

In general, the food and service were good. I had a tasty chicken dish washed down with a respectable Italian white and my better half dined on a succulent bronzino. The views of the bay were spectacular. On the negative side the ambiance was a bit jarring. We asked for the cacophonous music to be turned down which, improved the dining existence markedly. The lack of any absorbing surface made the music especially discomfiting. Also the value for money was disappointing. Although the food was good the prices and portions were out of kilter. For example, we were served some bread and when my wife asked for olive oil instead of butter we were told it would be $5 which is, to say the least, outrageous. Been there twice. First time I ordered rare filet-- it was so over cooked I couldn't eat it. Nothing was offered as a make up gesture. The second time I got the meat ball pizza which was pretty good. It's an odd menu with many items marked "MP"--even Branzino, which is not a high end fish. The place is more of a bar than a restaurant. Drinks are not cheap. There are beautiful boat and water views and parking is available. Service is spotty. Seems like inexperienced servers for the most part. Bartenders on 7/27 so so. Between 2 - 4. From NJ but live in Lahaina which is a tourist spot 365 days of the year. You would think that the bartenders would smile and acknowledge you. There were two Latino bartenders, a man and a woman who were great and smiled. Food so so. The are other Lamberti's which are much better. You need to tell your workers what you expect from them. Second time back with a larger party. Little late in getting to our table but enjoyed cocktails looking at the sun set over the bay. Once again, food was excellent. Had the eggplant parmigiana with rigatoni in vodka sauce. All in our party enjoyed their entrees with excellent service when we were finally seated. On the downside, don t recall a restaurant where you have two different prices for entrees , one for cash and one for card. Enquirer about the prices of the " specials " Not so special. In addition, there is a $15 sharing fee for a salad that cost $15. To my previous post regarding the GM, David, making sure I had parking close to the restaurant, this time , Luciano, the owner, spoke to us after our meal to insure everything was satisfactory. I don t know of any restaurants where the owner checks in with the party to insure that we enjoyed our meal but Lamberti s does. This has now become our " go to" place. read more
