Walked out after 45 minutes since the service was so poor. After being seated, we waited 20 minutes before finding a "manager" and telling him no one had come over to us yet. He seemed annoyed and not apologetic. It took another 10 minutes for someone to come over, she also was unapologetic. After another 15 minutes of waiting and still no drinks, we left. I paid $10 to park for really bad service and no food or drink. Mistakes happen, but neither of these people seemed to care or were concerned in trying to turn this around. They canceled our reservation 45 minutes prior to the reservation time itself via email and as we were on our way. Pretty poor service/ character to fail to provide adequate notice of cancelation and also not the first time this has occurred. Triple check your reservation prior to leaving because they might not honor it despite charging you to hold the reservation itself! read more

Don't Go. Food is mediocre and we were in and out within 45 minutes. My husband and I each ordered a sunset sangria. The glass was mostly ice, if we had 2 ounces of the drink it was a lot. We started with calamari which was ok. Not even finished it and our entrees were at the table. I asked to speak to a manager and was informed by a hostess there was none on. When we saw our waiter he claimed the manager was aware we wanted to speak to him. Nobody checked on us and no manager. Don't waste your money for overpriced food. read more

Had been looking forward to dinner at the newly renovated restaurant, unfortunately the event was so disappointing. Both hostesses upon our arrival were arguing and could not find our reservation, luckily we had confirmation text, eventually they did. We were seated downstairs which was ok. our server Mara did not introduce herself but ok we asked her name. I ordered a martini and my husband ordered unsweetened ice tea- which they were out of at 7:15 pm. he ordered the Greek salad as an app, only to receive a small portion of tomatoes and cucumbers, no olives or even any greens. My pasta was actually very good. Not getting an app i did ask for bread, since we saw it on the table next to us, and then requested EVO, only to be told that was an up charge,never heard of that for EVO. We did ask another server who was actually on the ball and she brought us a small saucer with about 1/2 tsp of EVO, forget it, I gave up on that. Now when I ordered the martini I req dirty rocks on the side, of course that never came but oh well. now the bill comes, as stated salad was so sad looking for $19.50! Now one Charge for the martini then an additional charge for the martini for the extra pour, never had this but if it was for the rocks on the side,again never got them. Sever couldn't really explain the second charge and neither could the Mgr, who did apologize telling me that's for "extra pour", oh and the EVO is supposedly served in a small finger bowl. I'll start by saying: The view is wonderful and my food was very good. I also really enjoyed the bread. Wine was fine and our server was sweet but inexperienced. Now for the rest. Overall the food was priced above other italian restaurants in the area (which are already high because it's a resort area), the portions were average to small, and they nickle and dime on EVERYTHING. The pastas do not come with meat--chicken was an extra $12(!) on an already $28 bowl of alfredo. No free refills even on coffee. $15 sharing charge. The cash and card prices listed on the menu for every item...I understand a different charge is common now but is it really necessary to put that on the menu when it's a difference of less than $1? There is no way the 62 cents is worth the optics. What bothered me most though is that the menu on google (which were posted a month ago) and on their website are wrong. My entree for example was listed as $10 lower online. If this was someone's first restaurant I'd understand them working out the kinks in the first weeks, but this is an experienced restaurant owner. The whole thing just reeks of a money grab. Some of my party were wondering if Steve and Cookies was worried about the competition, but there is no comparison. read more

Been here 4 times this summer. So you ask why I visited 4 times and gave it only 1 star. First time food was mediocre, service poor, but the drinks were good & loved the ambiance. Attributed poor service and mediocre food to having just opened.Second time went for lunch & pizza was good, service good as well drinks and ambiance. Third time food mediocre, service good, drinks good and of course great vibes as we sat outside. Tonite, our 4th time, made reservations days in advance for outside, but they said we had at least a 40 minute wait. Therefore ate inside, food again mediocre but to say the service was poor is an understatement.Waited at least 25 minutes before a waiter even acknowledged us and that was only because we flagged him down. Never received bread. Asked for a Diet Coke 3 times before receiving. I am sorry to say this is our last time here. Love the ambiance but since the food is just average, but expensive as are the drinks, and service is really poor, we will be looking for a restaurant that offers what I wish Lamberti's could offer. read more

The food here was good. I had the meatball and ricotta pizza which I enjoyed, and everyone else at the table enjoyed their food as well. The prices were expensive for what they offered, and we all thought it was strange that they had an up charge for credit card payments listed on the menus. The service started out awful: our party arrived in two small groups (3 people and another couple) and the hostesses refused to seat the couple who arrived about 10 minutes after the three of us arrived and were seated. All of us were there by the time of our reservation, but the three hostesses didn't seem to realize they already seated part of our party. No one came to offer us water or take our drink orders until we had been seated 15 minutes. Finally a server noticed us and took over our table. She apologized and was wonderful for the entire meal. She went out of her way to make up for the poor start. This place has beautiful views but it was overcast and raining the night of our reservation. The acoustics of the place were absolutely awful. We could hear diners across the restaurant but had trouble hearing each other because of all of the competing noise. The louder it got, the louder guests spoke, contributing to the overall din as the restaurant filled up. Overall it was a decent meal, but I probably wouldn't go back for dinner because of the noise. Maybe for drinks, but only if I could get a seat at the windows to see the view on a clear night. IMHO the view is the big draw of the place. read more
