Charming lunch spot with friendly service. Casual vibe. You get in line to order, dessert, sandwich or to go dinner items. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and upgraded my side to the dill chicken salad. The Reuben was a good one, it was juicy and the bread wasn't dry. The chicken salad was definitely dill forward and I thought it packed a nice punch. Really enjoyed both. I liked that they had to go boxes by the door so you could help yourself. Sooooo I kind of freaked out a little when I happened upon this while leaving the Whole Food's Market across the road. I have had almost ALL of the delicious homemade dips from this wonderful place. An old neighbor's mother in law use to bring the dips from Lambrusco'z to all of my neighbor's parties and I always looked forward to that delicious CORN DIP! You guys......that dip is IT! Walked in excited to use a gift card for a place I used to love, only to be told it was "too old" because they switched to a new system. the urban was the first on the list on the "hot sandwiches" section & it was hard to go past the other options. black forest ham, marinated grilled chicken, bacon, bbq sauce, white bbq sauce, cheddar cheese ON a bun... what more could i really ask for outside of the fact of me adding pickles?! me not paying attention that it was on a bun, i already knew it was going to be packed, which in fact the sandwich was. meat just stacked with slices of bacon hanging off of the edges. the bbq sauces were incredible & the cheddar cheese was nice & melted, smokey. which led me to why i got the side i went with... the fruit cup is something i highly recommend. it had the most fruit selections i've ever had to date: grapes, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries & apple slices. it's all about balance, you won't feel bad with this as your side when you had the sandwich such as the urban. plenty of sandwiches to choose from alone, hot or cold. tons of sweets (got to sample a maple bar), things out side of sandwiches like salad, pasta, soups, queso, etc (i tried a sample of their chicken pizza as well... the way their service lines leads up to the register... you'll end up with 1-2 samples before your order's done + time to pay). a go-to spot for lunch. read more

I had never heard of Lambrusco's To Go before, but the other day someone had them cater for something I was at and so of course now it's on my radar! Just at first glance (seeing the trays of sandwiches), I assumed that it was just some chain restaurant since that tends to be a more common option for sandwiches. But, once I started taking a closer look at the sandwiches I could tell that it was something different. Of course, once I realized this I was so happy to get to try a new (to me) place. We had two to three medium sized trays filled with a variety of sandwiches. One tray was all vegetarian options and the other two were mixtures of all sorts of classics like turkey, roast beef, tuna salad, egg salad, and I believe there was also chicken salad but I'm not positive on that one. I appreciated that they were cut in halves, because then I was able to try more than one flavor. And, though they weren't "full sized" the halves were large enough that if you weren't really hungry you'd probably be fine with just that, but it also wouldn't be crazy to go for more than one half sandwich! Obviously a very convenient way to go about things for catering, so you can tell they know what they're doing. The first flavor I tried was the tuna salad. This one came on a croissant....Mmmmm! I'll admit I didn't exactly know what I was picking up (which I guess would be one area that could be improved as far as maybe labeling them better, especially when there are many flavors involved), but luckily I'm not picky so I knew whether it was chicken salad, tuna salad, or whatever it would be fine with me. It was definitely yummy, even though I wasn't expecting the tuna at first bite (I think I was thinking it would be chicken?). The tuna was flavorful and luckily didn't taste like the bad kind of fishy. The salad part was creamy but not too liquidy. It was easy to eat (it wasn't falling out all over the place/too messy)! It was simple in terms of the number of (obvious) ingredients but definitely wasn't bland. I also tried the roast beef flavor, which came on rye I think. It was also very good. The meat again was flavorful and dry, but actually in a good way. I'm pretty sure it also had lettuce, cheese, and tomato... obviously I was too busy eating the sandwich to stop for long enough to notice much else haha (it also doesn't help that I wasn't the one who looked through the menu and ordered I guess). They also had three small tubs of sliced dill pickles, which I added to the roast beef sandwich, and one plate of desserts. The one I tried was some sort of bar. It was almost like a brookie with coconut flakes on top... loved it. Overall great, easy, simple, classic food that's good for groups! read more

Deli Sandwich I've frequented Lambrusco'z many times over the years and mostly have been very satisfied with the food. Today the food was very good but the service was less than spectacular. Must have been an off day for staff customer service. One counter person in particular was not wanting to be at work. Very unfriendly and I felt like they didn't care about being helpful and friendly. I'm hoping this was an anomaly. Again the food was exceptional. They have a million things to choose from and it's a little over whelming the first time you're there. Just start at the top of the menu and work your way down every time you make a visit. So I've had the quich florentine and the jalopeno pimento cheese and roast beef wrap. BOTH AMAZING. However, my husband always seems to make a better choice then I. He had an beef tenderloin sandwich with some garlic melt cheese. WOW. They always have about 10 different desserts and they have amazing sides to accompany any choice of sandwich you desire. Cons: 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks cost over $27? The Ruben is usually very greasy and my husband tends to regret eating it.
