I have been coming to Lou's for well over 15 years and will continue to come as long as I can! Lou and his son are friendly and make me feel like part of the family. They make their menu items fresh daily and with love. I have had everything on their menu from their breakfast skillet wraps to their soups to their sandwiches and amazing potatoes and everywhere in between. Their house spuds are amazing and loaded with toppings! They have ample seating for that soup and sandwich diner feel. Make sure you stop in and don't forget to look on the counter and in the "dessert case" for the sweets of the day and tell them that Candace said "Hello"! You won't regret it! read more

I've been coming to Tulsa steadily for the past year and this was the first time I stopped in and now I'm shaking my head as to why?! This is an awesome place to grab lunch. Don't be mislead. Good sandwich, quick service and nice staff. However, the "daily special" they advertise is NOT your typical daily special. You pay menu prices for all three items in the combo. I don't mind, but don't advertise "specials" if you're not changing a price point. At least in my opinion. read more

Lou's Deli is a hit! What a great place with friendly staff and clientele. A smashing sensation of great choices and low prices! Good coffee lots of seating room fast service and ample portions. My breakfast wrap and small coffee was just shy of $4 dollars. That's unbelievable in the middle of a city. So thrilled I left a 50% tip. Now I sound like a big spender : ) Needless to say (whatever that means) this place makes me very happy. And I found it with Yelp. A fantastic alternative to expensive hotel lobby restaurants. One of my favorite downtown lunch spots for many years. When I worked downtown all through the 90s I ate here many times. My favorite potato was the Marine Scott, which is no longer on the menu, but they will still make it if you ask. It has chili, cottage cheese, bacon bits, scallions, and sour cream. Delicious! My wife gets the Beef Stroganoff Potato which is a close second of mine. There are many other menu items but you can't go wrong with the potatoes. They are always cooked to perfection. read more

There is nothing spectacular about the atmosphere, but I'm not really big on fancy anyways. I really like the 3 cheese and avocado sub! The combo is $8.50 tax included and comes with a side of chips or potato salad and a drink! The sandwich is yummy. I also like the Italian Cold Cut. Stopped in here after walking a few blocks downtown. Had a Reuben sandwich combo. Staff was very friendly and sandwich order was ready in about 3 mins. The dining area was full of tables and chairs, but not too many folks yet at 11:15. The sandwich was good as was the iced tea. The inside of the place looks like it has gone through several disjointed attempts at style upgrades, some of it looks like 80s, some looks 90s, etc. Prices were good and so was the food so I will be back for sure when I have a need for a deli sandwich. read more

Great downtown spot. Bread for the sandwiches are the best. On a cold day, the Lous meatball sub makes your other meals seem insignificant.

Better than Subway, worse than Dilly Deli, but it's the right price... And that's what matters most days. Lou is a really nice guy too, and I want him to have some of my money. read more

so.. as a quick lunch place for downtown workers, this place is perfect. speedy service, delicious sandwiches with tasty bread, awesome spud choices (including cottage cheese potatoes, sweet potatoes, AND pulled pork spuds), wide varieties of soups.. all at reasonable prices. the setting is alright. they definitely don't spend money on the looks of the place, which is completely fine with this girl as long as the food is delectable + reasonably priced (which it is). if you're a downtown worker looking for a quick, tasty, and cost efficient bite, this is your place! read more

We went there today to take a shot at their place. The first thing I would like to say is that the staff is very friendly and wants to make you feel comfortable while enjoying a meal with them. This establishment is a breakfast/lunch only business and they are only open Monday thru Friday. Now, back to the food. I decided on getting the Philly sub, drink and a bag of chips. That combo came out to 7 dollars and change after tax. The Philly had a nice taste to it and definitely did not lack in the area of peppers. The sandwich had plenty of juice and it might have been a bit too juicy. This sandwich could easily have been split between two people that are only a little hungry. Now, my brother had the Frito pie and he said that it was ok but nothing outstanding. Now, my brother has some expertise in the area of chili and has been doing competitions for nearly twenty years. My wife had the Grinder and she said that it was delicious. Their Reuben is a fantastic sandwich! They also have other items on the menu like different types of baked potatoes. The ambience is nice inside and it is much larger indoors than it appears from the outside. We will definitely be going back! read more
