Great sub! The bread was freshly made and the meat gets sliced as you order. I got a sub with chips and drink for lunch for $10. Friendly service, order at counter, there's no option to tip.

With eggs cheese sausage potatoes onions and peppers this was a hit tasty way to start my day!

Lou's Deli is a hit! What a great place with friendly staff and clientele. A smashing sensation of great choices and low prices! Good coffee lots of seating room fast service and ample portions. My breakfast wrap and small coffee was just shy of $4 dollars. That's unbelievable in the middle of a city. So thrilled I left a 50% tip. Now I sound like a big spender : ) Needless to say (whatever that means) this place makes me very happy. And I found it with Yelp. A fantastic alternative to expensive hotel lobby restaurants. I'll be back tomorrow!

Great downtown spot. Bread for the sandwiches are the best. On a cold day, the Lous meatball sub makes your other meals seem insignificant.

Both sandwiches came with homemade potato chips, a mix of regular and sweet potato and they were absolutely delicious. The Dutch Crunch Sandwich was packed with turkey, bacon, swiss, tomato, arugula, and avocado mayo on dutch crunch bread. They don't skimp on toppings at all, there was plenty of turkey and bacon, and every bite was flavorful. Dalton's Double Deuce was another standout. Ham, egg salad, olive tapenade, and arugula on a fresh Italian roll. It felt like a grown up version of an egg salad sandwich. The olive tapenade adds a great punch of flavor, though it leans a little salty. And the cookies... unbelievably good. Truly some of the best cookies I've had. The Brown Sugar Cookie has a gooey center and deep caramel flavor, and the Oatmeal Cookie without no raisins, surprised me, I didn't miss the raisins at all. It tastes like it has a light honey glaze to me, and it's phenomenal. Trenchers is definitely a new favorite.

I ordered the full size, and it was huge. I ended up splitting it into two meals. My only complaint was the house-made chips. They seemed like they had been fried ahead of time because by the time I got them, they were soggy, which was a bit disappointing. I paired everything with a root beer, and overall it was a fantastic meal. Aside from the chips, I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

The French dip was very good, but the bread/baguette, was incredibly good! Really special! I really liked the coffee as well, apparently a local supplier,, although I forgot the name. Turns out that the night before we ate at McNellie's, which is a part of the restaurant chain that owns the diner. Our server at McNellie's was terrific and they knew her. We were seated promptly with a nice view of the door. We started our breakfast with coffee, which was strong and very good. I decided to pack on the carbos with a short stack of pancakes topped with caramel sauce, bananas, and walnuts. Wow, they call this a short stack! I am quite certain I could never eat a tall stack! My wife ordered the breakfast tacos, which looked quite small compared to my pancakes, but she loved the flavor--a nice mix of scrambled eggs, avocado, and cajito cheese! More coffee! We rolled out of the place very satisfied and pleased with the service, ambience, and food! We highly recommend the Dilly diner!

As the sandwiches are listed on the menu, you're asked (at the register) if you'd like whatever fixings that go with the sandwich. I got the Turkey and Cheese with lettuce & pickles, I added jalapeños & jalapeño sauce. I liked the creamy Italian sauce too. The sandwich was stacked. Plenty of turkey, plenty of lettuce, plenty of pickles and jalapeños. The sauce was there and wasn't an overload, just the right amount. The sandwiches come in small or large & I'm glad I got the small. The combos come with chips and a drink, they have one of my favorite chip brands, Miss Vickie's (Spicy Dill Pickle is an automatic pick for me). I wish I got the name of the dude who took my order. He was super cool, laid back & nice. He asked me if it was my first time in & I said yes (I always ordered pickup) and got to choose between the 3 cookie options they had for free. Their oatmeal raisin cookie doesn't taste like your average, see for yourself. *Side Note: Did Bill & Ruth's specialize in mainly cold sandwiches? The reason why I ask is because I never remembered being offered between wanting my sandwich cold or hot.*

Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The food wasn't very good in my opinion. I chose the turkey sandwich. Although the turkey was real turkey breast, not deli meat, it didn't have a lot of flavor. There also weren't a lot of toppings, and bread ratio was too bready. There isn't an option to "build your own" like Jersey Mikes or Subway, so you're kind of stuck with what you get. It wasn't awful, just not that good. Service made up for mediocre food.

I pulled all of the let out of the sub. Leaving me with a bun that was falling apart. Torn off about half of the top and bottom of the bun. Flavor of meat was okay at its best.
