Lambs Farm is so much more than a petting zoo. Magnolia Cafe and Bakery are available. Services have grown with a garden store, thrift shop and country store. While serving the community, it serves families to introduce farm animals to our little ones, helping relieve fears to enjoy the blessings. Excited to see how the farm has grown. Looking forward to exploring more. Located just east of old Jamaica Gardens, now Green Oaks Senior Living.

I have heard some great stories about this farm, so I decided to give it a visit. The farm is family friendly and had some wonderful animals residing at it. We are allowed to feed the animals hay and pet them. The goats were especially greedy and grabbed a whole bag of hay from us with their teeth. But, they were funny and energetic. The horses were so friendly and allowed us to come pet them. Each animal had a fun story to read that tells everyone a little about who they are and how many years they have been on the planet. The farm closes at 4, so we did no get to sit down at their restaurant but we got a chance to purchase to go salads that were delicious! The homemade baked goods are scrumptious as well.

When in the neighborhood, no matter your age, be sure and stop by for a visit!!!!! Five dollars to tour the animal farm where the animals are beyond friendly...one dollar for a sack of hay to feed the entertaining beasts, a little extra for a relaxin train ride and a trip around on the carousel...it all adds up to $$ and time well spent!!! When you're finished at the farm, wash your hands well and head on over to the cafe for a delicious sandwich served up by some of the sweetest staff! The chips and fries are all freshly made. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I've had! Don't eat and run; take a stroll through the thrift store and country market...bring yourself home a scrumptious treat. Got the kiddos with you? Let them play just outside on the playground while you shop. Run mostly by those who have been met with challenges in life but have pushed themselves to be overcomers; they are preciously sweet and friendly and eager to serve. Stop by and say hello!!!

I had a big vision for my birthday cake, since I have been looking forward to this birthday theme…read morefor years. And all I can say is - THEY DID IT. (Detailed review below. TL;DR: Absolutely will be back. Quick, easy, and transparent communication about vision, price, and all in between.) Cake Details: 9-inch, heart-shaped, marble cake with fresh strawberries, $94 INITIAL COMMUNICATION It was literally 2 minutes before closing time when I called them for the first time (my planning mishap). However, someone picked up and offered immediate, friendly assistance. I figured ordering a custom cake takes more than just 2 minutes, so I offered to call back in the morning, but she was extremely eager and motivated to help me right then and there. We discussed the general details (size, theme, flavors, shape, etc.) over the phone, and I was then provided with a phone number to text additional information and reference pictures. CUSTOMIZATION I sent 3 cake pictures as references to the phone number, and explained which elements I want from each cake. Also, I wanted a heart-shaped cake instead of a round one. I was very picky, I admit, but the team was incredibly accommodating and happy to fulfill ALL my wishes - big and small. I also sent 3 more pictures of characters I wanted to add, and yet again, they accommodated. TRANSPARENCY The communication was so easy and clear. I inquired about the price at our first meeting, and was told that all added decorations are included. (The price would have only changed if I had added another tier, changed the size, or made any other dramatic changes.) This was amazing. I was able to tell them all my detailed wishes, and I never once feared about the final price, since their communication was so clear. OVERALL This is a great business to support and order from. I was very picky in what I wanted for my cake, and they were able to match it perfectly. All my guests loved the cake - looks and taste. And it tasted as good the following days. Added Note: One of our guests is gluten-free, and I was prepared to provide a gluten-free dessert for them; however, the bakery being gluten-free is just another great bonus, and my gluten-free friends will travel to this bakery in the future. Amazing!

There were some baked goods prepared and ready to go. I got a few chocolate cupcakes as a gift, so I didn't get to try them. The service is the main reason I write this review. Very kind, and personable service. Awesome community pantry available as well with food, and also household items. Sandwiches and coffee available to order too. I will have to come back to try more!

The friendly guy at the counter said that they are changing their name as per the new storefront sign. This is a casual Mexican bakery with great prices. Loved all food items that I chose & I didn't chose his recommendations so those might even be better. He recommended items with ginger, coconut & traditional delights. We also did not warm up the pastries so that is how delicious the bakery items were Everything was so fresh tasting & hit the spot. I appreciate that things were not overly sweet. Recommended items: -Pineapple empanadas. -This square custard tart with real blueberries in it. -Strawberry churros. I look forward to hikes that will lead me back down this way & trying more yummy items.

My family and I have always used LaLuz Bakery for our birthday cakes and have never had an issue…read morebefore. That's why we didn't hesitate to order a special two-tier TikTok-themed cake for my niece's birthday on Saturday. Unfortunately, this time was very different. After picking up the cake and heading to the party, we discovered that the cake had completely caved in. The top tier slid off the bottom tier before we even opened the box. I took pictures immediately and contacted the bakery right away. I didn't ask for a refund--I simply asked if there was anything they could do to make it right. Instead, I was told that because the cake had left the store, there was nothing they could do. I even offered to return the damaged cake. Still, the manager on duty, Mario, said he couldn't help and would pass it on to his supervisor. We left the cake with them and walked out empty-handed--no replacement, no apology, no effort to resolve the issue. We ended up going to Sam's club buying two cakes($50 total with tax), and creatively combining them to save the party. Honestly, those cakes turned out better than what we originally purchased for $150.00 from La Luz This experience was really disappointing, especially considering the loyalty and money we've given LaLuz over the years. I'm leaving this review to let others know that if something goes wrong, you may not receive the customer service you'd expect--or deserve. Needless to say, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
