He quoted me a number which seemed reasonable. After calling several other companies and learning that it would take well over a week to get out, and they charged fees just to come take a look it made my decision easy. Jim and his crew were there within a week to get the job done. The installation took about an hour - hour and a half. It was an easy, very painless process. Jim and his crew were friendly, knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the process. I had Jim take a look at a couple other small projects around the house which he accepted. Which leads me to today. I called Jim at about 8:45 with a problem regarding one of the small projects he looked at. He was at my house in 25 minutes and immediately to work. Jim and crew seem to genuinely care. They are honest, charged me exactly what he quoted me. They were prompt, and the work is excellent. I will be calling Coakley Plumbing for every plumbing and heating job that comes up for as long as I'm in the Medway area. You should too.

Poor quality work caused sewage leak in basement…read more Ryan Plumbing installed all new plumbing for a new 2nd bathroom in our house. 1 year after the project was complete the newly installed PVC pipe for the waste line fell out of an elbow joint and dumped waste into our basement. I called Jeff Ryan to repair it because I was hoping he would take ownership of his work. We talked about why it happened and he said that the overlap of the pipe within the elbow joint had only been half of what was needed (0.75 inch vs 1.5 inch). He apologized and did not charge for the repair. However, a couple of days later when I asked Jeff to pay for the $1,600 cleanup cost, he fabricated a new story about the problem being caused by a clog and not his quality of work.
