Yummy food and friendly staff - food is ready fast and correct (even with my substitution). I only wish they were open on Sundays.

Fast cooking and so so ambiance. Very friendly staff. However for me far to greasy and salty in relation to most other area Chinese places.

Tasty basic chinese fare. New hours (close 8ish) and no more delivery make it harder for me. But nice to have homestyle chinese food in MV.

We've been wanting to try Mamahuhu and so glad we made the trip to Mill Valley to do so…read more We ordered the Mushroom Mapo Tofu, Sweet & Sour Chicken (the standout dish!), and Jade Fried Rice, and every dish impressed. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was the highlight--perfectly crispy with a glossy sauce that struck a great balance between sweet and tangy. The addition of pineapple, bell peppers, and onions kept every bite fresh without overpowering the chicken. The Mushroom Mapo Tofu was rich, deeply savory, and packed with silky tofu in a beautifully spicy, numbing sauce. The mushrooms added great texture, and the generous sprinkle of crispy black beans and scallions on top made it even better. The Jade Fried Rice was a great supporting dish--light, flavorful, and studded with egg, greens, and bits of meat without feeling greasy. The portions were generous and perfect for two people to share. They also offer rice plate combinations, but we opted for individual entrées and were glad we did since it let us try more dishes. The restaurant itself is casual, cute, and very clean, making it a comfortable spot for lunch or dinner. Excellent food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere--we'll definitely be back.

Everything was fine until one specific interaction flipped the vibe completely. The attitude came out fast -- and hearing a manager call a 40+ year-old customer "dude" during a disagreement was... a choice. If that's the customer service direction moving forward, good luck to them.

I've passed Harmony countless times and always assumed it was some sort of furniture or home décor…read morestore (the West Elm adjacency is misleading), so I was genuinely surprised to learn it was a Chinese restaurant. I went in curious and optimistic -- unfortunately, the experience fell flat almost immediately. Upon entering, no one acknowledged us or greeted us at the door. For a restaurant that presents itself as modern and slightly upscale, that lack of front-of-house awareness was noticeable and set an awkward tone from the start. We ordered the vegetable cake, a dish I'm very familiar with and usually love. Texturally, it was decent -- soft inside with a lightly crisp exterior -- but the flavor missed the mark. It tasted under-seasoned yet strangely heavy, with an excess of oil that lingered on the palate. Instead of feeling clean and balanced, it felt weighed down. For context, Palate Garden Party executes this dish far better: brighter flavor, better seasoning, and far less grease -- and at a lower price point. Even with the longer drive, the difference in quality makes it worth it. Dessert was a banana sesame roll dumpling dish that sounded promising on paper. The first bite was interesting, but that novelty disappeared quickly. The dumpling skin was far too thick and overly crunchy, almost stale-textured, which overwhelmed the filling. The interior lacked cohesion and finesse, and the cinnamon flavor felt muddled rather than intentional. We didn't finish it. Across the board, the food leaned excessively greasy, to the point where it didn't feel good to eat. I left feeling heavy and uncomfortable rather than satisfied. The flavors never quite came together, the quality didn't feel refined, and there wasn't enough charm or warmth to compensate for the technical misses. Overall, this isn't a place I'd return to or recommend. There are far better options for Chinese food that offer cleaner flavors, better execution, and a more thoughtful dining experience.

I was complaining to a friend ; who recommended that I try DJ's! I did that tonight - DJ's is a hidden gem. The war won ton was just the won tons with no fillings and the broth was good, but it was not what we expected. The seafood soup was mostly broth with a little bit of fresh mushrooms and French cut green beans and finely we found a couple shrimp and a few bits of calamari. The sweet and sour pork was mushy and didn't have much flavor. The kung pao shrimp was mostly onions! The next ingredient was green peppers and garlic. There were peanuts and still more onions. We are not fans of onions, so this was not a good surprise. The rice was fine but not special. We also ordered plain steamed vegetables and shrimp, which we will try tomorrow night if we are willing to eat this again. Service 5/5 Food 2.5/5 Ambiance 4/5 lovely patio in back of the building and nice linen table clothes. Good window seating. Value/price 3/5 expensive for the quality of the food (canned, frozen veggies etc) The food brings down the experience and we won't go back.

They've been there often, it seems. I'd be pleased to join them there again. We had a pho and a noodle dish. We split the shishito peppers. My wife prefers less spicy. I'm the opposite. We order calibrated for her. They did fine. My wife remarked afterward it was "Americanized." That is true. It's not necessarily bad. It isn't just Asian cuisines; it's Italian too, and I'd bet just about every other tradition. There is a distinct American version, which an historian could figure out the relationship to the original for, for any "ethnic" dish you'll encounter stateside. Service was brisk. We finished without any concern about making our show.

The staff was friendly, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Our disappointment was solely with the food. The Pad Thai was, without question, the worst Pad Thai I've ever had. It arrived cold to lukewarm, lacked any flavor (some thought it tasted like soap?), and was honestly unappetizing. Multiple people in our group ordered it, and every single person had the same reaction after taking a few bites. Not one of us was able to make a dent in the meal. We also ordered the green curry, yellow curry, and potstickers. Unfortunately, those dishes were subpar as well and didn't make up for the experience. We did let the manager know about our concerns before leaving. I'm writing this review in the hope that the restaurant takes the feedback seriously and considers improving the recipes. This place has a lot of potential, it's in a great location and seems like it could be a great spot for both small and large groups, but the food simply doesn't live up to it.
