[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute and cozy restaurant with friendly, helpful staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has lots and lots of options. We tried the summer rolls and prikking moo grob which were both delicious.

Great Northern style Thailand cuisine. Ordered my favorite Khao Soi with beef. Flavorful broth, tasty noodles, good tender beef. About 25 people can be seated and my friend and I didn't have a wait time around 5pm on Saturday (got lucky, one table available). We also ordered curry puffs and fried calamari. Both were excellent.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a cozy little restaurant in the heart of littler Italy/chinatown.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came here with my friend and wanted to try something warm and comforting. I had the Kanon jeen nam ngiaw which was hearty and had a pickle like taste to it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place gives homey vibes and the service was very sweet and gave great recommendations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check it out!

Quick service and great for a quick bite! We had two of the chefs special dishes which were delicious -- one was pork belly and the other was a chicken dish. The owners are lovely!

This tiny SoHo spot seriously surprised us! The Mango Whole Fish is one of the best things I've eaten in NYC--crispy, fresh, not greasy at all, and the mango salad on top was perfect. The Boat Noodles are packed with flavor and comfort--braised beef, rich broth, pork skin. Sizzling beef comes out on a hot plate with ribeye chunks and rice--SO good. Great cocktails too--fun names, not too strong, really balanced. Everything was flavorful, authentic, and worth the hype. Definitely coming back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small and casual environment; great place for a quick bite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was also friendly. Giving 3 stars because I thought the food was mid. The beef was too chewy, the apps tasted like they were from frozen, and the most of the meals were just slightly too salty. The pad see ew was good, with a generous portion size and a decent amount of seafood.

Back again in Manhattan and I was ready to get some Thai food cause it has been a while. There was this one spot I had found from my pre-planning and it was right in the heart of Soho. On a Friday night it was packed! Luckily since I was a solo dinner I was seated in minutes despite them having a long waitlist. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant was so colorful and fun and a bit tightly squeezed in space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have two other locations, one in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn The menu is like 12 pages long with some pictures of the food and drinks. I was definitely overwhelmed lol. I started off with my cocktail which was ginger beer mixed with fruity flavors and ginger beer and it came out fast and was surprisingly underwhelming especially considering there was ginger beer which I like, the taste wasn't really there. I asked the staff for a recommendation on what to get. She recommended Prikking Moogrob and I made sure to mention I wanted it a little less spicy because I just never know with Thai spice and its better to go less spicy then fight the HEAT lol. The dish was essentially crispy pork belly, peppers and beans with a side of rice. The flavor was on point and at first I couldn't even tell it was spicy but as I ate more & more I felt the light burn. All of the staff were incredibly nice. They just chit chatted with me during my dinner and even complimented my bag and were so kind and such sweet. I left literally with my stomach about to burst and it was only about $45 with tip which isn't too bad. If I came again I feel like it would be efficient to go with people who can EAT to get to try a bunch of stuff. $$ Food 8 Atmosphere 8 Service 8 What I got Wai Jai Dai Ga Prikking Moogrob

Work trip and am exploring the local restaurants i felt like some thai food i ordered pad thai tofu and Sai Oua (Chiang Mai Sausage.with a lichee tea. The pad thai was a bit one note and middle of the road I would skip that but the Sai Oua sausage with an order of the sticky rice is one of the best I've ever had spicy with great taste like Thailand in a bite and the thai tea was great as well. I recommend exploring this menu

Such a great find! The food was delicious, service was good, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]it wasn't a huge restaurant, but it filled in minutes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a Pad See Ew and basil mixed vegetables and tofu with rice. Had I known that the restaurant was northern Thai, I would've tried something new! I will have to go back to try some of their specialty dishes that reflect northern Thai flavors.

I have been walking past this place for awhile now. And today I decided to go and try what they have. I order from their lunch specials menu. I got chicken pad see ew. It comes with your choice of side order. I got the tom yum soup. It was tasty. My only comment is that the soup could have been more hot in temperature. The portion was a good size for lunch special.

I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with a group of three people since we were in the neighborhood. This place specializes in Northern Thai cuisine: milder, featuring herbs and vegetables, with influences from Burma and Laos. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was a bit small but we didn't have to wait for a table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the roti massaman, the boat noodles, the khao soi noodles, and the pad see ew. The portions were pretty large. The roti was a pass though, the sauce was a bit too watery and not enough roti pieces. The boat noodles were very flavorful and there was a lot of beef shank. Service was very fast and friendly. I would definitely come back!

Had heard some good things about this spot via the internet and happened to pass by and popped in for an impromptu weeknight dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute and cozy interior, people working here are very sweet![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I opted for some sort of crab noodle soup. It was the first time I had seen it and it piqued my interest what can I say. Flavors were a tad more muted than I expected, even considering that it was Northern style. Don't think I'd go out of my way to come here but in a pinch it does the trick!

It beats me why some of the best Thai restaurants outside of Elmhurst have all decided to congregate on the northern edge of Chinatown. While Lan Larb unfortunately does not offer a vegetarian version of its signature dish, they do have a sizable vegan menu with excellent other options. We started with the pak mor, as of late my favorite Thai snack and in my opinion the greatest incarnation of the cheong fun family, with a slight bit of crunch and sweetness from the peanut filling. For a main, I had the excellent vegan beef kra pao, which is seasoned heavily with tulsi and gave me a bit of that satisfying dense minced texture I was looking for from larb.

Had walked by a few times but a on post gym Trader Joe's run the pictures were enticing enough…read more Got a Lanzhou beef noodle combo with a drink and a lamb burger. The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

OMG-I just enjoyed one of the most delicious and flavorful Ahi Tuna Poke Bowls EVER!!! Run, don't…read morewalk to try this! It was so delicious. See my photos. The Ahi Tuna was the perfect and proper color it should be. The flavors were SPECTACULAR-WONDERFUL!!! NOTE: WAGAMAMA has added to their menu, since my last visit, so you now have a RAMEN SELECTION, and other yummy additions. I was too full from my spectacular Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl to try the Korean bbq Chicken Wings ($8.95) but, I will definitely be back to try them!! I'll post menu photos so you have an idea of the delicious food choices. (April 2026) My very first delicious bite of Ahi Tuna had a heavenly garlic flavor, it was wonderful, and the sweet green seaweed with rice only added to the wonderfulness. Vertical slices of cucumber, onion and scallion, also add deliciously to my wonderful Poke Bowl. Toasted sesame seeds, too. SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!! Remember to be sure to mix the poke bowl rice as you eat, so that you mix the rice with the yummy sauce that may accumulate at the bottom of the poke bowl. I usually eat a little while, THEN, mix the rice. This was so good, I had to eat, eat, eat, before I could stop to mix. LOL. That sweet green seaweed was so yummy!! A lovely mix of flavors...the garlic, the sweetness....I LOVED IT ALL SO MUCH!!!! When was the last time you enjoyed a dish so very much that you felt like standing up in the restaurant and telling everyone: THIS IS SOOO DELICIOUS!!!! Well, I felt like that, but I didn't stand up and tell everyone, but I did tell the manager, who happen to come to the table to ask how everything was. And I let him know how much I was enjoying the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. He explained why and how the tuna was so flavorful. We had a delightful brief foodie chat. What a joy!! The service is very nice here. I like the atmosphere too. And the music, which is cool; it does not interfere with thinking, or having a conversation. I really like it here . The women's rest room was very nice, and clean, with a Dyson Hand Dryer, so no paper towels on the floor. Yay! Helping our environment, too!! And I like the black and white wall paper, too. See my photos My last visit I enjoyed the Pad Thai, and the same non-alcoholic beverage, " Asian Mint Limeade", from the MINDFUL DRINKS area on the beverage menu. ($9.50) (April 2026). A nice treat! It does have a light carbonation (bubbles). This visit my delicious meal was from the BOWLS SECTION of the food menu, it was the AHI TUNA POKE BOWL ($17.95) (April 2026) With warm, and hot weather on the way, I know I will be enjoying this AHI TUNA POKE BOWL again...and again! If you love good food, good service, and a very cool environment, put this location of WAGAMAMA on your list ! (East side) LOCATED On THIRD AVE, at East 39th Street. There is OUTDOOR SEATING, too, with red umbrellas. See my photos. Enjoy yourself here. Totally delightful. There are several locations in Manhattan. I did not know that. So, the one I have dined at is ON THIRD AVENUE, at EAST 39th Street. Look for the Red Umbrellas outside, at the corner of East 39th Street and Third Avenue. Enjoy!!!

I would rate this a 4.5 instead of a 4 but Yelp doesn't do half ratings lol…read more Yesterday, I was around the neighborhood and noticed Wagamama while wanting lunch. I remembered i liked my experience going to one in London in 2024 and decided to go. I love how attentive the wait staff are, a little too attentive. A waitress, she had long hair and a nose ring, approached me when I was just glancing her way during eating. I didn't need anything, but I appreciate the favor. That same waitress gave me my receipt too early like she wanted me to leave ASAP. This was right before I asked to look at the desserts after I finished my meal. A "Would you like some dessert?" would have be appreciated. Cedrick, my principal waiter, was phenomenal. He decided to take care of me after no one was at the hosting desk for 5 minutes after I arrived. I had the chicken potsticker ramen and it was delicious! The potsticker was seasoned very well: my favorite part. To drink, I had the Asian Arnold Palmer and it was a cute drink! Only downside is the sweetness was not even distributed through the drink, even after I mixed the drink. Even though I had an issue with the service, I saw how caring they were (he looked like a manager now) to a family that came after me with organizing their seats and getting a baby chair. I just wished they gave me the same respect instead of rushing me out the door.
