I've recently had my sewer line replaced by Honest Sewer and Drain, who I've been a customer of since 2023. I live in an older home (1950s-1960s) so clogged pipes are a problem and they've always done a great job on them. I also appreciated that they've made good suggestions when I've mentioned the cost of upgrading my plumbing and offered me options that made the cost more within reach. For the last call, a regular cleaning could have caused damage to the sewer line which was breaking and was full of roots, so they water-flushed the blockage instead to get the water moving and I realized, it was time to replace the sewer line before it was too late. I received a discount as a repeat customer. The whole process took less than two days. Mike and Anatoliy came out to do the work. They covered the ground with tarps to minimize cleanup later, digging was a few feet deep but confined to the location of the line, narrow to the point that they saved a favorite rose bush that I was supposed to dig out. I appreciated seeing part of the removal process and the explanation of the original sewer material, how it was installed and how that eventually led to the wear. The work on day one didn't take that long and the pipe was installed and the cleanouts were upgraded to current standards. They handled the permit and scheduling for the inspection and it was passed by late morning so that Mike could. complete the work. The whole removal and installation hardly interrupted my water use. The first plumber couldn't get through & told me we'd need to bust out my brand new patio! More great work from Broderick and Anatoliy, who quickly diagnosed and fixed an obstructed pipe behind the bathroom sink. After exhausting some of the easier options like snaking and cleaning out the P-trap (which they didn't charge me for), they had to cut open a section of wall to replace a joint in the pipe. I figured it would be time consuming and messy but Anatoliy made it look easy, even patching and mudding the hole after. They'll be my next call when there's work to be done (hopefully in the distant future...). read more

Read to the end The sewer line was backed up and initially I had a reputable company come out to snake it and clear the pipe. The tech did what he could and ran into an obstruction. He recommended hydro jetting it for an additional $485 and then sending a camera through (another $250) to take photos to make sure the line was clear. I decided to get a second opinion and luckily found Dustin at Honest Sewer and Drain. He came out to the house the same day, was able to take a photo (for NO Charge) without hydro jetting and locate the problem as a root ball growing into the pipe. He snaked and cut out the roots and the line is flowing again. All for $270 (after a 10 percent discount)! No hydro jetting, no charge for the photos. The next day the bathtub line was clogged and he came out and got it flowing again. No additional charge! Hard to believe but it's true. Dustin is in it for the long haul - he understands that a business is built on delivering competent, professional and honest service. Honest Sewer and Drain was the second lowest bid of the five companies that bid the project (only higher by about $200 than the lowest bid) and were able to get all the work knocked out using the trenchless method. They came out, looked at the pipes, assessed the issues, and cleared everything and they didn't even charge me. The plumber gave me an estimate for some longer-term repairs that I'll need to have done if I want to avoid having the same issue in the future, but when I asked what I owed for the service he provided that day he was like, "eh, I didn't really *repair* anything so... no charge." I called Honest Sewer & Drain to help diagnose any water leak in or around my home because of our last ridiculously high bill. Although I wouldn't consider our situation an emergency, Mason was able to fit us in on a Sunday, just two days after I called. He was punctual, very methodical, and in a very short time tracked the problem to our pool's auto-fill. Although he couldn't repair the float, he did shut off the auto-fill valve until I can have it serviced. Please note we are the renters and the homeowner hired Honest sewer and drain after our recommendation. During the initial free estimate Honest sewer & drain was very promising. They were professional, quick and friendly. Honest Sewer & Drain was quick to start the project after the home owner decided to have them complete the job. We were impressed and surprised when they stated they would be starting as soon as they did since it was going to be raining all week. They quickly started the job in the pouring rain. The nice gentleman doing the digging of the pipe seemed like a third party and then was later confirmed by the city inspector to be a third party. We thought it odd that the city inspector stated Honest Sewer and Drain didn't have their paperwork with them which needed a sign off by the inspector. After the job was completed nor were we or the homeowner shown the new piping before replacing all the dirt. Not sure if that's normal but it would have been nice to see the job they did before filling in the dirt. Now the disappointing part was the clean up after the job was completed. They left materials in our front yard without letting us know what was going on with it. It took a couple of days for them to pick up once we notified them. They left dirt everywhere. We had to remove about 4-6 inches of dirt off our walkway after they filled the holes that were dug to complete the project. Overall the experience was okay. Slightly disappointing as we had seen they had good reviews and the initial impression from the beginning was promising but didn't quite meet our expectations read more

BEST guys in the business! When one of our two water heaters decided to burst one fine Friday afternoon I knew exactly who to make the first call to. Dustin was our first line of contact and though he wanted to remove our old heater and install the new one the very next day, he let us know that his supplier just so happened to be closed for system maintenance but that he would be our first thing Monday morning and he was - cue the HUGE sign of relief. On arrival, I inquired about a waterless water heating option I had researched on over the weekend (a complete pivot) Dustin patiently listened and said it could definitely be done but might take a bit longer, and though the change was last minute he was able to remove both old water heaters and install a new waterless system the very same day without rushing or cutting any corners ensuring the job was well done which we were beyond thankful for. It was the first step in a VERY long process of fixing all the subsequent issues that arose from the water damage incurred in our garage but it truly set us on the right foot right from the beginning with their fast professional and honest work ethic. To boot I mentioned needing to find a water damage remediation company and was referred by Dustin to another awesome team whom I will be writing a review for right after this one. Fast forward a few weeks later when we decided to remove our old water conditioner (shout out to Mike and Anatoli who came out for this job) and shortly after moved forward with the installation of a completely new water conditioning system which has ZERO maintenance (Halo 5 I believe) and Anatoli was back to do the job for which we give him 5/5 +++++ stars!!!! Update on the above - unfortunately, the original plumber I hired to fix the main line blockage did not do an adequate job, and the line was blocked again 6 days later. I called Dustin and he came out, same day, fixed the stoppage, inspected the line both ways (to/away from my house) to ensure the entire issue was remedied, and pulled/reset one of the toilets that the original plumber determined was "not necessary" because it would "just get damaged again" if the sewer line was blocked again. I stand by my comments above - Dustin was professional, informative, kind, and quick to make time to assist in just a few hours when I called him for help. One of the last few trustworthy company left. Everything about this company was amazing. They came out and did an amazing job. Communicated with me the whole entire job and backing theirwork with a 5 yr warranty. It all started at 9pm with water backing up in the toilets and then the tubs and sinks. I contacted them through yelp and Mason quickly responded back asking about my situation. We book a free inspection/estimate the following morning. Mason came out and did his inspection. It turned out my pipe busted at two different location with dirt and roots growing into my main pipe. He gave me a reasonable quote but I negotiated with him. He was able to contact his boss and we were able to find a price that wasn't too heavy on my wallet. My job consisted of replacing 6-8ft of my main pipe with 3 additional drainage outlets. They even removed roots. It sounds simple but the hole/area they dig up was not a simple task and on top of that, keep in mind, the toilets were backed up so there were things floating. Things no one wants to touch. They were professional and never complained about anything. They came out the next day and started working at 8am til 6pm to finish the job.
