Purchased a certified 2024 RR SV from Darryl, who is one of the salesman at the dealership. We purchased sight un seen, which is our fault for sure, but since it was certified through them, we had more confidence. The day we received the vehicle, the brakes were squeaking, which Darryl even informed us about with a text that reads" car just needs to be driven, as it's been sitting for a while". After having the same issue last for weeks, we took to our local Land Rover dealership, who said it needs new rotors and brakes. Long story short, This dealership can't be trusted obviously. Buyer beware: This dealership is practicing shady and unethical business. They say whatever to get you to agree to terms, and then they change the terms of the agreement. We negotiated a deal and had the terms outlined. They then told me that I had a market adjustment on a vehicle that I ordered despite it being custom and me waiting for months. Market adjustments are generally for low inventory climates. They also encouraged me to get a lease instead of cash so I could get an EV credit all for them not to honor it. When I tried to contact the general manager, they keep saying he's in a meeting and unavailable. We have left numerous voice messages and are receiving the worst customer service ever. They will lie to sell a car and then they disappear when they get you to sign. Patrick the general manager is who I had the pleasure of working with. My daughter purchased a new Range Rover and added an extra featured for purchase. It was a cup phone charger. After they took 3 days to install and drilled a hole in the console WITHOUT asking, it was for an older model phone and wouldn't fit her phone. The car is a 2021 and a new model iPhone. They charged to put it in and take it out and knew nothing about their product OR how to install it. I have called 3 times for the manager and have yet to have a call back. read more

Luis made our car buying experience one of the best that we have ever had! So I was looking to trade in my 2018, Land Rover discovery sport and get a Toyota 4Runner. We found the one that I wanted at a dealership in Charlotte so we went to test drive it and sure enough we wanted it. That dealership told us that we could not get what we were asking for my car's trade-in value and they were tacking on a bunch of fees and all kinds of things for the 4Runner so we decided to go to Land Rover in Columbia and see what they said. They wound up giving us $3000 more on my trade-in and found the same 4Runner online because they happen to be in the same auto group as the other dealership, so Luis made it his purpose to make sure that I got that 4runner. They did not tack on any extra fees and we walked out of there with the best, easiest, fastest service we've had ever buying a car. Luis had my 4Runner picked up from the other dealership that was rude and mean to us and had it shipped to Land Rover Columbia where we drove in the following Monday and picked it up and drove it home. We have never had better service, and even a month after buying a vehicle, Luis is staying in touch with us, and asking us if there's anything that we need, and if there's anything he can help us find out about our new car. He is going above and beyond to make us feel special and to carry on the relationship even after the car buying experience was over. If we ever have to buy another vehicle we will make sure that he is the person we called first before we check anywhere else. We had always heard bad things about this Land Rover dealership in Columbia South Carolina, but we decided to put those reviews in the back of our minds and we took a chance and it turned out to be a blessing and another Blessing on top of that was Luis being our sales person. He is awesome, super nice, and he is not one of those pushy salesmen. Please check with him first before you purchase anything anywhere else. I've had two experiences with Jaguar/Land Rover Columbia. The first was in September 2017 and was a very pleasant experience as I had just arrived from Washington State (where there are several Land Rover Dealerships) and moved to Augusta with them being the closest dealership. The personnel were very helpful; I got the part I needed and I was on my way in good time. I planned to go there this Saturday for another part and called today (Friday) to ensure the part was available before I made a two-hour drive. I was speaking to a parts clerk when he abruptly said "OK" and something else and then hung up. After this experience I'm willing to drive as far as Atlanta and a little beyond before I'm willing to give my hard-earned money to "service" personnel working at a luxury dealership with a substandard attitude. Wherever I go I'll just have to turn it into a mini-vacation. I'd advise anyone to be aware of all your options and use this dealership as a last resort. read more

Save yourself the time and go to Hendricks in Charlotte. I sat on the side of the road for 15 minutes trying to get in here for my 9:30 appointment because a transfer truck had the entrance blocked. I had to call the office to get someone to come out and make them move. Nowhere to park, employees behind their desk on their phones, nowhere to sit. The level of professionalism here is a joke. The folks at Anaheim Hills Jaguar & Land Rover CA needs to come out here and show these people how to run a business, and treat their customers. We purchased a Evoque in July 22 as a celebration of me graduating and for our 25th anniversary. After a few weeks, I noticed some issues with the car. The service appointment was 3 months later in December. I was told that nothing was wrong with the car. The issues continued to progress so I made another service appointment. 3 months later, I was told today that there is a leaking valve in my coolant system and that my rotors were warped (so in 3 months my car went from fine to raggedy). I would avoid the brand altogether because I was told today that these issues are common on their cars and basically to shut up and take it. This is not a luxury brand, service is not top notch and I was treated differently as a black woman (I know the dealership is owned by a black man). I was told that there was no way to work my car in although I was getting several warning lights however when I was dropping my car off today a Caucasian woman was dropping her car off to be "worked in" and staff even promised to drop her off to her destination using her car. read more

Today the service department took my Range Rover Sport to a Honda dealership without my consent. That was after the my salesman and the service manager got into a verbal fight with my wife on the phone. If I could leave negative stars I would. If you are in the market for a Land Rover or Jaguar do yourself a favor and research another dealership, possibly in Charlotte NC or Atlanta GA. Land Rover of Columbia did a good job when it was time to sell me the vehicle. Once the vehicle was in my possession and they received their money everything changed. The 2018 Range Rover Velar has been in the shop 5 times for the same issue and each time they assure me that the problem is fixed. Each time the same problem resurfaced. Each time it took several attempts to get someone on the phone or to get someone to come pick up my vehicle as they promised when I purchased the vehicle. The problem resurfaced within a few weeks to a couple of months and I was back trying to contact them about the issue. Again they took days to get back to me. Each time the car would go back to Land Rover to have the problem fixed. They went as far as to tell me they had the "best Land Rover engineer" working on the case. With some research I learned that many dealerships use this line to put ease into a customer. When my mileage neared the end of the manufacturers warranty I decided I was going to trade the vehicle in for another make and model. I had an extended warranty but I was afraid that they were just buying time until the extended warranty kicked in. At that point each visit would be assessed a 100 dollar or so deductible for an issue that existed since I purchased the car. I did not pursue the lemon law because of how difficult it is and how the buy back process works. After I traded in the vehicle I called to get the extended warranty cancelled and my money refunded. I submitted the paperwork for the refund but they have not processed the paperwork. They have not even contacted the extended warranty company. I have made several calls and left voice mails. I have contacted them via email with no response. The dealership is 80 miles from my home. At this point a visit to the dealership is warranted. In my lifetime of buying cars I have learned that a dealership earns its high marks on how they treat a customer once they have purchased the vehicle. This dealership has the worst customer service of all the dealerships I have dealt with. I have purchased 12 cars in my lifetime and this by far is the poorest customer service relations yet. We recent came in for service of the Range Rover. During this process where several recall to my vehicle. A loaner was provided to us, my husband fell in loves with the (Jaguar XF). I called to the dealership to inquire about the loaner. The serviceman was a little unorganized but found out later he was new to the job. We purchased the loaner vehicle the next day but the Ranger Rover came home not so cleaner. I was a little disappointed. Everything else with the Ranger Rover was excellent. The XF was sold without service. I had to call back to schedule a service appt. I really couldn't believe a vehicle could be driven off the lot with having all the bells and whistles completed. I have similar experience as others that have left negative review earlier. If I could leave negative stars I would. If you are in the market for a Land Rover or Jaguar do yourself a favor and research another dealership, possibly in Charlotte NC or Atlanta GA. The 2019 Range Rover Sports HSE has been in the shop 3 times for the same issue and it is only been 10K miles and each time they assure me that the problem is fixed. Each time the same problem resurfaces as soon as I leave the dealership. They don't test drive once repair is done to verify the issue has been resolved or not. Each time the car would go back to Land Rover to have the problem fixed. They went as far as to tell me they had the "best Land Rover engineer" working on the case. Last experience just did it for me and I have to write this review, I called and let several messages for someone to call me back once I left the dealership to inform them that issue is still present and I need to schedule to bring the car back for service. It has been 1 month and no calls or sort of communication from the dealership. I had to call Land Rover of America to get them involved and they are also having hard time getting information from this dealership as to what has been done. Finally, I got an appointment scheduled 1 month in advance with request to have loaner car as I live 83 miles and I cannot take time off from work every single time and seat their for 4-5 hours every visit to come to find out that issue still has not been resolved. When I made the appointment to bring the car back for check, lady said that one of their service personnel will reach out to me and get information regarding loaner as to where to pick up my car from etc. It was literally 18 hours before my appointment that I had to call them and what a surprise cannot get hold off anyone in service department. Left a message and finally Jonathan from the service called back and said that they don't have a loaner and that I will have to bring the car over. I told Jonathan that I requested 1 month in advance and requested the loaner. He said that it is just a request and that as dealer they are not obligated to provide a loaner and that they don't have one available anyways. He even said that I will have to pay for services as it will not be covered under warranty for same issue. I informed him that it was not fixed in first place and it is still under warranty it is only been 10k so why I will have to pay for it? The dealership itself has NO CARE ATTITUDE. I have never seen service like this. This are luxury high end cars and Land Rover of America informed me that they suppose to provide the loaner car upon request. Well, I did 1 month in advance and still don't have a loaner car. This dealership has the worst customer service of all the dealerships I have dealt with. I have purchased 15 cars including from Hyuandi to Telsa in my lifetime and this by far is the poorest customer service relations yet. Disappointing to say the least. I have bought 5 Supercharged Range Rover Sports over the course of 9 years. That was before the new ownership.... My husband and I were completely insulted today by the offer given to us by the new manager. They contacted me with a "bait" offering 110% of KBB value. Don't fall for it, it's a joke. Too good to be true!! This is the first time I have ever left Land Rover Columbia without a fair deal and a new car. The previous owners would have accommodated us for sure! I have not been to this dealership in person and probably will not due to the limited e-mail correspondence I received. I saw they had a used vehicle in their inventory and filled out the brief internet form they had to inquire as to the most recent and best price, as vehicle prices do change and fluctuate on a continual basis. I received a response the next day with a link simply asking me to copy and past into my browser. I did this and all it did was direct me to all of the information I had already seen on their website. Very lazy and unprofessional on part of the sales person, which I won't disclose their name to save their dignity. I checked their website again to see who their staff was and it appears they are all just young and perhaps inexperienced as to how to really accommodate customers to earn their business. We recently got a Range Rover Sport from here. My Salesman, John Sims, was great to work with. He was very patient and low key about the whole deal. He didn't try to do the old 'what do I have to do to get you to walk out of here in this car today' bit. He asked what I was looking for in a vehicle then showed me the options. He never condescended to me because I am a woman (rarer than you think!) and when my husband was there he talked to me when I asked a question instead of directing the answer to my husband. It was very refreshing. There were a couple of small things we wanted to do to the vehicle (change the rims, etc.) as a part of the purchase. The service department was great. We absolutely got a loaner, so I'm not sure what happened with that other person. They were very courteous and kept us in the loop on the progress of the vehicle. Only coming back here if there's some sort of emergency that prevents me from going to Charlotte or Charleston for service on my Jag. This is not what you expect from Jaguar. I thought things would get better when they moved from "lost in the 80s" Hampton Jaguar to the Land Rover place across the highway, but it's not much different. I understand renovations are difficult, but part of it just seems like poor planning. No place to park, and you want me to drive my nice car off a freakin' cliff in the middle of your parking lot? Uh, nope. Wait was too long, and they won't give you a loaner car, so plan to miss at least a half day's work here. I had an Infiniti before the Jag, and the Service I got an Infiniti was at least 10x better than this. It's just not what you expect from Jaguar. They need to class it up. read more

A couple of time I had to go directly to upper management to get issues resolved. They made a mistake on my Sales Contract and will not return my calls to clear it up. Very upsetting !! read more

Attn: Doc, I travel between South Carolina and New York about every two weeks. Land Rover of Columbia has more than one dissatisfied customer. My experience was not acceptable. After spending more than $1700 for a fuel pump for my Range Rover, the part failed by the time I returned to New York. "The part was defective and had to be replaced". To my surprise the service manager of Land Rover in New York made me aware of the fact that the carpet around where the fuel pump is located had been cut away. But to cut away the carpet without telling me is not right. Of course the General Manager of Land Rover of Columbia denies that his service department did this. Wow can you believe this. That part had never been replaced on this SUV. I tried to reach the service manager for months (please check your phone records) in Columbia, but he never returned my many calls. Now the fuel line is leaking to the fuel pump. I found this out on Friday while having my SUV inspected.
