I trusted that statement and was never told a full Know Your Vehicle inspection report existed - or that I'd have to specifically request it to see it. That report contained information that would have prompted me to get a second opinion before purchasing, and now I'm facing thousands of dollars in engine repairs on a car I've owned for only two months. When I reached out for help, management not only refused to assist or take any accountability - they ignored my emails entirely and let the Brand Specialist respond in writing that they only provide the report if a customer specifically asks. Expecting customers to uncover hidden inspection details after being assured everything is fine feels predatory and far from the honesty and transparency that should be standard at a dealership - especially in a small community like ours. This place has the worst customer service! My good friend always wanted a Land Rover. Her initial Land Rover she leased for two years, and at the end of the lease decided to buy a new Land Rover. She told me that this was literally her dream car. Well the car is less than two years old, still under warranty, and she even purchase an extended warranty. Unfortunately, the radiator started leaking. She's unable to drive the car due to the bad leaking radiator. Kind of surprising since the car is less than two years old and was purchased new. Also surprising that the car constantly needs fixing, considering the cost of the car. She called Land Rover Honolulu about getting the car in to get it fixed. They apparently have no availability to even fix the car for two months. Given that the radiator is leaking and the car could overheat, this is a safety issue, but they don't seem concerned about this. Since the car is under warranty, it has to be fixed by Land Rover. Having somebody else fix the radiator would void the warranty. They also told her that they don't have any loaner cars available. They implicitly told her that she was "on her own" to rent her own car out of her own expense. She obviously needs a car since she needs to go to work every day. I'm not sure if they assume that all their customers have more than one car? Anyway, really poor customer service, no sense of urgency to help customers get their cars fixed. There are plenty other good car manufacturers out there with really excellent service. I don't know why anybody would come here. She definitely is not going to be a repeat customer!! read more
