Prefacing by saying i know they're going to reply to this and say some type of bs along the lines of "im the owner im sorry this happened please call our clown general manager" Was in contact with this dealership about purchasing a used Tesla from an hour away. I had a great pre approved financing rate and high carmax offer on my trade in. They offered me 2000 less for my trade and i advised i would trade locally and arrive with a check. I told them my financing rate and they told me they were excited to beat or match it and to fill out an app. After filling out the app first Range Rover hard inquiries me, then when they realized they couldn't get close to my rate, they farmed it out had 2 more hard inquiries just for them to call me at 6:30pm on a Friday, tell me they couldn't match my rate and if i couldn't be there at open the next day with a check they had 3 current appointments for the car and they wouldn't take a deposit to hold it even though i had already filled out a credit app and signed the price sheet. Once they realized i wouldn't be financing or trading with them they kicked me to the curb with 3 unnecessary hard inquiries. Disorganized, distasteful, and dishonorable sales management. Tried to buy a vehicle recently expecting experience par for a JLR dealer which admittedly isn't high. Sales scheduled apparently 3 appointments overlapping each other for the same vehicle. While signing the contract with the salesperson was notified by management it was sold to the buyer who came after hovering over us during the test drive. Apparently if you read the reviews they do this often; sleazy, underhanded, tacky experience. Glad I didn't buy a vehicle as I'd have to with them even more than I did. read more

This review is for service only. I have serviced my Range Rovers here for many years and was always treated with courtesy and respect. Something has changed here. Appears frantic. I recently called to schedule an appointment and get a loaner. Service guy said we don't do loaners anymore. I asked why? He said that Jaguar is not associated with the company and that all the loaners were always Jaguars. I'll tell you now that I have never once driven any other than Land Rover as a loaner. When I pushed a little he said sorry that's just the way it is but I'll pay for an Uber. I got a call asking me to change my appointment which I could not do. The service guy hung up on me. I'm leaving this review under LR Mt. Kisco as well as Jaguar Mt. Kisco since they're the same dealership... By far one of the absolute worst dealership (service) experiences I've ever had, and I've been to a lot of dealerships over the years. I brought my Jaguar XFS in for service due to rattling in the doors, several warning lights on the dash, a pulling to the left, the surroundview camera not stitching the image together correctly/dead spots, and an oil change. I was told the rattling in the doors was caused by two dimes inside the door card and would not be covered under warranty. This "repair" cost me $700. I was told the car was road tested and the noise was gone. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before hearing the noise was still present. Road tested? Absolutely not. I didn't receive anything back for the exorbitant amount of money I spent for a technician to pull the door card and remove the dimes (which I could have done at home in under 20 minutes). I didn't bother doing this myself since the vehicle is still under warranty. The pulling and dash lights were being caused by a steering angle sensor issue (I knew this because my independent shop diagnosed it while doing an alignment on the vehicle, but I brought it to the dealership for a resolution since the car was under warranty). The dealership replaced the clockspring and sent me on my way. While the dash lights were fixed, the vehicle still pulled to the left. I brought the vehicle back and was told they performed an alignment. They surely charged me for an alignment. As I started heading down a straight road, I noticed the steering wheel was turned several degrees to the right. They managed to make the vehicle worse! Mind you, the steering wheel was perfectly straight before their alignment, and I even provided them the alignment specs from my shop showing the vehicle was perfectly aligned. I brought it back in and told them they had to correct the issue. They realigned the vehicle and gave it back. Now the steering wheel is several degrees to the left! I gave up and am bringing it to my independent alignment shop to do a proper alignment and address the issue. When I complained and requested a refund for the alignment, I was told one would be issued. Over a week went by and I didn't receive a refund. I reached back out and it was blamed on "staff shortages." I'm still awaiting this refund. This will be the first time I'm ever disputing a credit card transaction. While they fixed the surroundview issue by disassembling my mirror (they sent me a video of this), my driver's door mirror glass now shakes and rattles like crazy. They clearly broke some of the clips behind the mirror and didn't bother taking responsibility for it. The oil change I was told would be covered under Elite Car was not covered and was performed to the tune of $300. A heads-up that this wasn't going to be covered would have been appreciated so I could have brought the car to my independent Jaguar specialist who would have performed the oil change for a fraction of the price. Communication with staff is sub-par as well. You will be checking in and requesting updates for your vehicle, rather than the dealership staff providing them to you. Bring your Jaguar/Land Rover product anywhere else for service. It looks like I'll be taking the drive to White Plains for all future service needs. Even if they were to offer corrective fixes for my vehicle, I wouldn't trust them to go near it. The only resolution I'd accept (and wouldn't hold my breath for) is a full refund of everything I've paid for. By far the absolute worst dealership experience I've ever had, and certainly not the expectation one has from a "luxury" brand. read more

They do not know what they are doing regarding repairs apparently. My wife broke down two times after they fixed the car, twice, and had to be towed. Absolutely the worst service department ever! This is the third time that I have had a problem with their service department. They Do Not call you with updates or to let you know the car will be delayed. It took weeks to get an appointment and the next available date for a loaner car was not until March. When I made the appointment, I told them all I needed was a a simple light. They kept my car for two days just to tell me they needed to order it, and that was only after being on hold TWICE for over 10 mins each time to try and get an update. It was a light for goodness sake! The previous time my car was serviced they kept it overnight (never called me) and my husband went the next morning to pick it up (per their instructions). He waited four hours in their waiting room only to be told after four hours that they could not finish the service for a few more hours. It was in for routine service. This is absolutely inexcusable. We brought it in because of the brakes were faulty, and the car came back to us worse than when it arrived at the shop. It has been another 23 days since we brought the car back a third time. I've purchased several LRs from LR Mt Kisco, and had other serviced there that were not purchased there. Mt Kisco is BY FAR the worst dealer I have ever experienced, as far as customer service goes. Without exaggeration, every single time I've called the service dept., I've either been put on hold for between 5 and 20 (yes 20, I stayed on just to make a point) minutes, or even worse, been put on hold only to be disconnected. I've made appointments to have my car picked up for service (an agreed upon part of the purchase that they would pick up and drop off), only to have them miss the appointment and not call or email to acknowledge or reschedule. Awful experience car shopping and buying out my lease. I'm not sure if he still there but Matt (the one who looks like he belongs GTLing at the Jersey shore) is the manager I dealt with, he is arrogant and rude. Then I was sold very expensive warrantees on my car (which of course if you're buying a Range Rover you need because they always have problems) and was told it would be the same exact coverage I had under my lease. Turns out it is not the same coverage I had under my lease. Now when my car is in for service somethings are covered but they definitely still hit you with a bill for anything they can and told me if it was under the original factory warranty it would be covered but because it's under the CPO it's not the same coverage. Again not what I was told when I bought the $5k warranty. Then I was also sold a tire and rim package. I specifically asked if I scratched my rim amI able to come in and get it fixed under this warrantee for no charge. I am absolutely positive they said yes or I would never have bought this policy. Fast forward to when my rim got scratched and I needed to bring it in they said it's not covered ,only if I blow a tire. They are liars and scammers. Don't buy a car from these people. read more

I have only bad things to say about the collection of humans that operate chaotically under the roof of this dealership. 1- Terrible service, they can't even pick up the phone when you call. Not even sales picks up the phone! Oil change ? 2.5 hrs wait. In my town mechanic 30 minutes. They have no loaners so you waste time in there waiting for their inefficiency to end. 2- Service: My car was 2 MONTHS in the shop and they could not repair it. Could not get a straight answer of what broke for 1.5 months and I still don't have the details. It took me another month to get a repairs report from them. They are a disgrace. I had to get on a call with them and my insurance to make sure we could get the repairs covered. They claimed they could not provide the info the insurance needed to authorize my repairs coverage, only pressure and agreeing to pay for the oil change that was needed for the repair made them cave. 3- I had to use my insurance because around a year early they sold me an expired extended warranty. LR only authorizes extended warranties before the car hits 25K miles (pathetic also). They sold it to me anyway and then after I had to ask for a reimbursement they tried to sell me a third party warranty, which I greatly distrusted so I passed. 4- for each of these pathetic scenarios I have a name for the responsible person at the dealership. I really like this dealer it is the closest one to my house. I used to go all the way to Huntington Land Rover in Long Island as we have a place in Li too but the service department at Huntington and in Glen Cove (same owners) is terrible and beyond disgusting. Bad techs and clueless service advisors. They broke many things fixing a simple thing and always had an excuse not to mention they'd keep the truck for months and have you driving a dingy Evoque or velar. There would be no communication from the service advisor or any updates I'd have to hound the service desk to find out wtf is going on with my truck. Mt Kisco is awesome especially their service department. They have great techs working there that actually care about your truck. The service advisor Jefferey is one of the best and I have plenty of high end cars so I've dealt with dozens of these service advisors. Jefferey is kind, courteous, and honest. I asked about my brakes and rotors and a few other items I thought I should change out but he told me I still have at least a year left and there is no need to spend money when it's not needed. Jefferey will also give you daily updates on what's going on with your truck and what to expect next. It's rare to find a honest service advisor but Jeffrey is one of them along with his incredible techs. My truck is always returned washed and detailed. Disappointed beyond belief. I leased a 2017 Land Rover Sport Supercharged and can't begin to tell you all how much of a disgrace the car is along with the dealership that represents the vehicle. The car has been in for service 4 times for the same brake issue...the brakes will not stop squeaking and screeching. The best part is, they don't only squeak when you press the petal they squeak when you DON"T press the petal, so they are literally dragging as you drive. Furthermore, after a long trip you can smell the wear and burn on the brakes so it leaves you to wonder....will these brakes fail with my family in the car? Will I be able to stop? Then there is the embarrassment of driving around a car of this caliber that sounds like a squealing pig, a fun touch. Frustrated with the situation I reach out to Land Rover North America and open a case. With only 6 months left on the lease I requested that they let me out and allow me to lease a new vehicle. I'm prepared to do this at my expense in terms of money down etc. Just let me get out of this failing car with unsafe brakes. LRNA obtains and reviews the service records and comes back with this answer. We're sorry of course - but your car has only been out of commission for 19 days and the brakes haven't failed so you can't get out of your vehicle. You can bring it back in for service and we will give you a months lease reimbursement. Mt Kisco Land Rover couldn't fix the brakes after 4 attempts...does anyone think 5 times is a charm? And I'm glad that the brakes haven't failed yet....should I continue to wonder? I'm disgusted with the car and the service. I've owned a lot of cars- I always go for the supercharge, AMG or upgraded performance cars because I demand the best performance. IN this case they rave about the Brembo brakes as one the performance features. Not the case at all. Of all the cars I've had this is by far has the worst service record and in the most sensitive area- The brakes. the glowing customer reviews surprise me as that was not my experience with this land rover dealership. I scheduled a test drive weeks in advance, made the 30 minute drive to the dealership, arrived 20 mins early, at which time a salesman (not the one with whom i had made the appointment) notified me that the car i was there to test drive, the only one of its kind on the lot, had already been sold, though i could "sit in it and look at it close up" if i wanted. Things happen, i get that...but seriously, not even a quick text or email or phone call to tell me the car had been sold and maybe ask me to reschedule? That's not good service in my book. We were in a rush to purchase a vehicle that needed to be registered as a livery in Orange County. I was lied to and told it was NY State law that dealerships have to register the car for their buyers. This didn't sound right so I contacted NYS DMV and they confirmed that dealerships are hesitant to hand over the paperwork because there could be an issue with having the lien holder added but that there is no law. I spoke to Nate, the sales manager, and explained my situation. Since the dealership was not able to register the car as a livery, I was requesting to do it on my own. Nate was downright nasty and rude to me saying that the dealership does not do business that way. He even had the audacity to hang up on me. They are making a killing charging people astronomical fees to register vehicles. Stay away!! Actual charge over $640.00 Conducted full 30k service for a leased summer home vehicle with only 15k miles. Argument at pick up and payment. No manager around. Called to complain and get refund. Run around ensues; finally after asking for old wipers, filters and all unnecessary replacements, service manager got on the phone. First words" I don't know anything about this". And further, "I checked the file, "mistake, you got the 20k service for $642.00". How does this happen on a car with 15k Miles? My take, happens all the time unless you question them. If I could give negative stars I would. I have been working with them since Monday. They had two vehicles that met my criteria on the website. They took my deposit, sent my the invoice, gave me an out door price. Took my drivers license, my insurance card, ran a credit report, did the financing. I got a cashiers check and then at 3:30 on Wednesday, the car was not in inventory. WHAT!!!! I was driving 400 miles to get the car, had rented a car to drive had to pay extra because I was returning it to a different place from where it was rented. Then they say what we can get another car, I keep following up and now they say this isn't going to work. How can you sell a car, take the deposit do all the financing and then say oh too bad not going to work. These are Range Rovers! I am sure Ranger Rover corporate would not want to hear this. VERY terrible customer service. The manager told me it was not Amazon, so the car might not be there. Wouldn't you take a deposit, check the inventory and then do the financing. Also just noticed two more hits on my credit, so now I think they might be scamming. DO NOT USE this dealership. They are all part of the same,: White Plains, Larchmont and Mt. Kisco. I reached out to White Plains, who was supposed to have the cars in inventory, but they did not want to help. BTW their inventory shows the cars still there. Unethical!!! Terrible experience with the sales department. I test drove a Range Rover sport this past Saturday and wanted to make a deal immediately following the test drive. I was told I was unable to place a deposit on the car to hold it. I told the salesman, Andrew, that I had a trade-in- I was advised to submit an appraisal online emailed to me and I would receive an appraisal from Auto Nation within 30 minutes. I also requested warranty information which I did not receive until end-of-day Monday. On Tuesday, I returned to the dealership with my trade-in vehicle and received an amount for it in person since I never received a virtual appraisal from Auto Nation as I was told I would. While waiting for the appraisal, we were excited to take the car on another short drive. Andrew was preoccupied with two other customers and it was after close - he quickly took a moment to discuss the vehicle with us and we were in agreement to finalize purchase of the vehicle the following morning. While completing purchase paperwork the next morning, I received a call from Andrew advising that another customer had the vehicle on hold via an online reservation. I asked how that was possible - when I offered to put a down payment on the car I was told vehicles could not be held. He responded "We don't like to advertise that because people would do it all the time and it's not fair if a customer wants to buy it." At this point, I am at a total loss as I've been trying to purchase this vehicle for days. I asked to speak to Andrew's manager, who with little concern for my dissatisfaction, let me know "A deposit was placed- they are picking it up tomorrow. If something doesn't work out we'll call you" I then receive an email from the general manager Bill McFadyen stating "Hi Noah, My Team has kept me appraised of the situation regarding the 2016 RRS. I think it would be best served if we have a conversation Thursday. I am free between 9:30AM and 11:30AM and then after 2:00PM. Thank you and look forward to speaking." Thank you, Bill, for asking an upset customer to call you at times that are convenient for you rather than picking up the phone to try and resolve the situation. I called Bill, and was given a completely different story- that the other customer would have purchased the car the previous night but it had a recall on a door and the title wasn't in yet from the bank. I asked him for clarity on how the car was being held. He told me "We don't hold cars, but this person is buying it." I told Bill I would have to escalate this to Land Rover of America and he replied "I've been with Land Rover for 20 years, they can't tell us how we run our dealership." Some customer service. My guess is that this car was held for a friend once I expressed that I wanted to purchase it. I am a long-time Range Rover owner, have been serviced at numerous dealerships. I have never experienced such poor customer service and such indifference to a customer's dissatisfaction. Absolutely the worst dealership! We negotiated a price for an in stock Discovery, ran to Mt. Kisco from Stamford to close the deal on a Friday evening, the last day of the month. Sales guy was quite nice, but that's where the good ends. It's 7:00, I worked all day and I want to close the deal and go home. They try to convince us to take the car home that night even though it had not been completely prepped. Remember, last day of the month! I agree to help them with their month end by doing the delivery paperwork and then physically taking the car the following week. They put the paperwork together and hand me off to the F&I guy who tries for 20 minutes to sell me on service plans from AutoNation even though I said I was not interested 10 times. I had to threaten to walk out to get him off that. We finished the paperwork at 8PM with the promise that they would have the car ready in a couple of days. On Monday we get a call saying they want us to come back because I had to sign more paperwork! First the sales guy says I need to sign a DMV form. I tell them to deliver the car to Stamford and I'll sign the form at my office, they say it needs to be Notarized, I say we have a Notary on staff. Next I get a "Sales Manager" telling me it's a Lease form and it can only be signed at the dealership. I remind them I financed, did not lease the car. I finally told them to keep the car and that I would cancel my Amex deposit. I tell them I want to speak with the GM who of course was not in that day. The next day I get a call from the "real" Sales Manager who is full of apologies, I remind him I want to speak to the GM. I finally get the GM, Randy on the phone and go over the excruciating details. He apologizes and asks if I still want the car, I said my wife wants the car & I just want a comfort level that they can do things correctly. We work it out and they deliver the car the next day and the sales guy does a nice job of orienting my wife to the car. We do a final walk around and find a dent in the rear lift gate. Small but noticeable. We are promised that they will fix it. Well that's a week and a half ago and we can't even get them to return a phone call or an email! Worst dealership I have ever been in to. Bad enough that at a luxury dealership they did not have a car for me to test drive but the salesperson showed me an older model of the car I was interested in that I can only describe as trashed. Seriously don't put me in a dirty car if you want me to spend 50k+ at your dealership. At the end of the day, the lack of even attempting to sell me a car was shocking.
