This is a SERVICE REVIEW : Outstanding. I have been going to Hornburg for the last 8 years, and after a disappointing appointment last month where my car just sat for a few days without even being looked at, i made the short drive out to Pasadena and i will never go back to a Hornburg again. My service advisors name was Abel and he went above and beyond. Dropping my car off was easy, they attended to every single thing i noted about the car, called me almost everyday they had it to keep me updated on the status of repairs and were even open on Saturday for me to pick it up. I had a couple specific questions when i came to pick up, and they introduced me to the lead shop foreman who answered them immediately. woah. Who agrees that when you're buying a car, test driving is essential? Usually, for me, I know what I want. When the Audi Q5 came out, I was one of the first to lease one. 2 years later, I leased another Q5. Following about 5 years of being in the Q5, I wanted something different. I had always wanted to try a Fiat but it wasn't until the 4 door 500x came out that I finally pulled the trigger so I traded the Q5 for the Fiat as soon as it hit the market. Now that the lease is up on my Fiat, it's time to get another car. Well, this time around I'm not sure of what car I want. So, I decided to test drive ALL the cars that I had interest in - Volvo XC40 & XC60, Jaguar E-Pace & F-Pace, Lexus Nx & Rx, VW Tiguan, Acura RDX, Subaru Ascent & Mercedes Benz GLC. I wanted to list all those cars to show that there were places where I tested more than one vehicle and they were more than accommodating. Anyway, as my day is coming to an end I head over to LR cuz I wanted to drive the Evoque, the Velar and the Discovery Sport. When I arrived I was politely greeted and told that someone would be with me so I went inside and waited. After about 15 minutes or so, the same gentleman that greeted me sent someone over. He approached asking how he could help me without introducing himself or offering a handshake. He seemed as though he was being imposed upon. I explained that I was spending the day test driving cars and listed the 3 I wanted to test drive on LRs lot. He proceeded to say - "which one?" I was slightly confused at first becuz I had just told him and listed them again. He said "You can only drive one. Which one? We are busy.". Caught off guard by his rude attitude, I responses the Velar "I guess". He began walking outside and I followed. Once I was able to regain focus I told him we would go somewhere less busy, thanked him and left. First of all, he wasn't helping anyone. Secondly, we were the last customers to arrive - no one had arrived after us. Thirdly, again test driving is how you determine which car you want. I'm not going to buy a car without test driving so whether it was today or 2 weeks from today (which is when I turn my Fiat in and buy a car) I'm going to test drive all 3 cars. Lastly, he doesn't know who I am or what I can afford. He made a big mistake today not taking me seriously and I just want everyone to know it. I didn't get his name but he's SHORT with dark hair and he eats sunflower seeds or something similar while addressing the customer. I will drive down to Cerritos tomorrow to test drive these cars. And, frankly there's a good chance I go with a LR but it all depends on how the test drive goes. read more

My recent experience with Land Rover Pasadena was great. I purchased a used vehicle from the dealership last week.After a few days I had some mechanical problems with the vehicle. I took the vehicle to the service department bracing myself for an outrageous cost of repairs covered under the 50/50 warranty. I spoke with service representative Kevin who was very friendly and professional, advise me that he would get the vehicle checked out to see what the problem was and give me a call. After having the worsttttt experience at Encino Land Rover, I brought my car here and Kevin M helped me and I couldn't be more happy. He test drove the car himself and heard the rumbling noise it was making and knew what needed to be done. I left the car there for a couple of days and he said he needed to extract water from the brushes and did a hard reset because the gas gauge was showing miles and gas consumption incorrectly. I will never take my car to the encino location again they told me there is nothing wrong with the car and to keep track of mileage in my head and monitor it that way and to not listen to the gas gauge. Such horrible customer service- learned much lesson. Kevin even realized that the key the encino location had given me was not for my car it had a different VIN. Nevertheless, so happy that Kevin found solutions to my problems and provided excellent customer service. From now on I'll only be bringing my car to Pasadena and dealing with Kevin! Super nice guy, he gave me 100% service from beginning to end. He took the time to listen to me and work with me. My car is now fixed and perfect and I am so happy! Sam Martinez reached out to me when my when Evoque lease was about 5 months from maturity. He explained new lease options available to me and asked me what I was looking for. After I explained my wants and needs he suggested I do a build so I could get exactly what I wanted. I hadn't considered that but was excited about the process. Sam was great from start to finish. I never felt pressured, he was a good voice of reason and always kept me updated on the status of my car. When it came in he took the time to walk me through all of the features and has since followed up to make sure I was happy with everything. The reason I didn't give the review 5 stars is because there was something missed with my build order. Given that, I'd give Sam a 5 start rating but the dealership/team as a whole a 4. I'd highly recommend Sam to anyone I knew looking for a new vehicle and would use him again if I stick with Land Rover for my next car. read more

You would be better off taking your car to jiffy lube or Midas if you need brake work. My rear driver side caliper broke and took it there to get it fixed. Car was working perfectly before. They charged $1,300 for the job. I got it back, and absolutely no brakes. Kevin, the service person, didn't even seem to bother to take the car for a drive before handing it to me with absolutely no brakes. I brought it back. Car stayed here for another week. And guess what? Same problem. No brakes. I'll have to find someone else to fix it. My $1,300 went down the drain. Kevin said now the master cylinder needs to be replaced , a bunch of BS. My car was PERFECT when I brought it and it only needed a caliper replacement. I'm very disappointed with Landrover of Pasadena. I had mentioned to Kevin that I was going to get a new Range Rover , but there's no way I'll ever go back to Land Rover of Pasadena. Car now even makes an insanely loud noise when I press the brakes. 100% wasn't there before I brought it to them. I would give them 0 stars if that was possible. read more

Other than that, I found Michael to be extremely pleasant to work with, very responsive, forthright and honest. Land Rover Pasadena has a 2011 LR4 HSE with very low miles...Don't let the low miles and immaculate inside and out details fool you. It has a crack in the drive train chain cover that will cost at least $3500 to fix...The SUV leaks oil bad...Buyer beware Shame on a dealership for not representing their own product. They've had the LR4 since last August, there is no way their service department isn't aware of the problem read more

I am a Rangrover Evoque owner that got Mistreated from one of the service riders Kevin Manougian every time I call him to ask him if something needed to be done on my Evoque I have to wait at least 2 to 3 days for him to get back with me His excuse was that he was so busy yesterday I called left him a massage and he didn't get back to me as usual and called him back left a massage that if he can help me I will go to different channels and he called me back telling me that don't ever threaten me like that age on a recorded line and my honest feeling that I was always ignored tur out of him and that after I listened to him I told him what is my feeling he hung up the phone on me ever time I had my car in he returned back to me with Uncompleted things lest time when I was picking up my Evoque had it there for a noise coming from the right front end the wheels was dirty and it had the glue from the wrapping when I first got it and I asked him if he can have it cleaned he told me now you telling that I took the car without arguing with him and have it cleaned somehow I want ever one to know this person how he tried's his customer's read more

We took our car here because we had a huge incident with a pothole, these guys "inspected the vehicle, said only a certain piece was needed to be replaced, we were charged for a B service because they claimed we needed it, only to wait 3 weeks for the piece to come in, had to rent a car mean while because Marcos, Clayton or Philip the "manager" couldn't get us into a loaner vehicle, only to have them tell me once they put in the piece that needed to be replaced that there was something else wrong, and that the car might be a total loss.... so we were charged for a B service for NO REASON, because insurance came to pick up the car 3 days later and reported it as a total loss. The mechanics here don't seem to know what they're doing. Oh... and they "replaced" a tire for me under warranty, and didn't even have the decency to wash the tire before placing it! Horrible service! Nothing compared to how I am usually treated at my dealership in Miami. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP. read more

I've been having the worst experience with this dealership the last few weeks. Had an issue with my car and had it towed to Pasadena dealership. Of course they did the Multi point inspection and the ONLY ISSUE I had was the main relay. I repeat: THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS THE MAIN RELAY!!! Cool. I got it fixed and a week later another issue...‍...well rather 2....now I need a new ignition and a catalytic converter. My question is wouldn't the technician had seen that I had a faulty catalytic converter and a new ignition when they did the multi point inspection the first time when I brought it in??? It seems like I'm bringing my car to the dealership every other week. Smh... read more
