Land Rover Pasadena provided me with the worst customer service experience I have ever had, hands down. If you want to visit a company that treats you like your business doesn't matter, employs condescending sales people, and makes customers wait on proper service this is the place to go. I went to the dealership intending to place an order for the new range rover. no receptionist at the desk. showroom seemed deserted. a number of sales people walked by and didn't even stop to ask if i needed any assistance. finally, i asked a sales person walking by if he could help me. he said i would have to wait. I traveled all the way from Northern California to pick up an incredible car. After looking at so many dealers near my house I was unable to locate the exact car I wanted. Some dealers asked me to wait 3-6 months to order the vehicle! Then someone recommended I call Pasadena- and there I found Sammy! He found me a car within hours. Poor customer service. Visited this dealership in hopes of test driving a 2017 Evoque. (I had emailed with an associate and told him we would be there late afternoon.) They are either exceptionally understaffed for a dealership on a busy street on a Sunday or we were intentionally ignored. Not one person even attempted to acknowledge us. Still hopeful, we found someone in finance who was apologetic and found a manager(?) who weakly said his sales team was busy with appointment customers (we saw all of 2). I understand if Land Rovers/Range Rovers are so high in demand the business could not hire fast enough to provide adequate coverage. Worst service department ever starting from Able the so called service adviser to the service director .. Made several appointments and attempts to get a Range Rover for a loaner rental at no prevail . Arrived Jan 5th for appointment and they explained they had given out my loaner to another person. Rescheduled on March 1. We called a day prior to confirm loaner is available for me and was confirmed. Arrived that day and service adviser explained and apologized but they have given my loaner to another customer. Ironically I knew that customer and she had made that appointment only 2 weeks ago. I had made my appointment 2 months in advance. That throws away the notion of first come first serve. I was very upset at this point and both service adviser and director explained to me they will have a loaner brought to my house . 1 week later I call back and manager is on vacation and spoke to adviser and he says he has 5 customers ahead of me. I was so disappointment I have called and left message to GM . To all that want great service that spend over 100k on a car don't buy or service your car from this dealership. We've never bothered to put a bad review on Yelp but this is the WORST customer service we've ever received. Ever. Anywhere. We had to constantly call in to inquire about a car we were interested in and, despite being promised to be called back, were left to be the only ones to initiate communication. Day after day we were told the car was almost ready to be visited, but it was just going to require another day to fix. This happened for several days. There was no follow up call. After constantly calling and visiting the dealership to look into the car, we were convinced by sales that it was a good deal. We were also promised 100% front-to-back warranty coverage on the car for anything that happens to it within 30 days of purchase. Happy with that promise, we went forward with the purchase. After being asked to sign various documents, including a contract that would require a fee to cancel the purchase, we were then asked to sign the warranty document. HOWEVER, the warranty only covered 50% of a specified # of items on the car. When confronting sales and the manager, Darryl Glasco (remember that name if you ever go in), they said they could do nothing. We were stuck with the car because we'd already signed the cancellation contract. Darryl did not even an attempt to make us feel better about the purchase. He just said there was nothing he could do. Despite having been told the car was ready and fixed, we were then told it still required further maintenance before receiving it. Again, there was no call. Afterwards, we went to get financing taken care of and, again, we contacted them repeatedly them about getting the car and it took several attempts before Darryl Glasco finally contacted us back so that we could actually pick up the car we purchased. Once we picked up the car, we were promised they would overnight the second set of keys. It's been over 5 weeks now. We've called, emailed, and contacted the secretary, Darryl, and the sales rep, who happened to have left the company shortly after we purchased the car. No help whatsoever. No deal is worth this trouble. Buyer beware, look elsewhere. If possible, we'd give 0 out of 5 stars. read more

We took our 2021 Velar to the service Department of Land Rover Pasadena. The car has 4,200 miles. We took it because the navigation system is not working for some reason, but when we bought the car 6 months ago, the navigation system had a little crack on the top. We called them the very next day and spoke to the manager and service, but they did nothing about it. We took the vehicle last week to the service Department because the navigation isn't working. They said some liquid spilled and didn't want to fix it for us. The service Department free showed us some picture, which looked like glue around the computer screen. They called it a stain and didn't want to fix it. We spoke to Marco, the service Department, and he didn't want to help us. We also spoke to General Manager, Phillip, and we told him the story and didn't want to help us. We have had a very bad experience with the service and sales Department from day 1 because of a crack on the navigation.they want us to pay 3900 to replace the navigation system read more

I took my car here to get it serviced a few times. The first time I brought it In was for a regular 20 k service and the second time was because my air conditioning stopped working. I also brought it in to get the recall #N491 fixed. Their customer service is ok. The reason this places gets one star is that they give you an appointment to bring your car in 2 weeks. After you bring your car to the dealer they won't even work on it until another week in half. This process defeats the purpose for the appointment. This dealership wasn't able to get my recall fixed for my car they said I had no recall even after I showed them proof that my car did have a recall. I called several times to see if they can help me with my recall but they weren't able to. They said that my car didn't show up in the system for an open recall and that they didn't have the parts to fix it either way. I had to go to a different dealership who took me in within a week and got the recall fix for my car. I wouldn't recommend Pasadena Land Rover for getting your car services read more

We bought our certified LR4 from them since they had the combo we were looking for that we couldn't find in our local market. When negotiating the deal, we agreed on a price and I received a call back the day later saying the price was $1000 more and the sales man made a mistake and that was the price on their website. In my experience the web site price is often not up to date, so this was a shock. They said they had another buyer and would not honor the price. Perhaps you can't attribute to malice what you can attribute to incompetence here. I'd been looking for a while and felt that we'd pulled the trigger so we still went for it anyways. If you're ever in this situation, just walk. The sales guy was very nice and friendly and said any problems please call him. We had an issue with the car within 2 weeks, something covered by a TSB that I think should have been fixed given its a certified car. I sent an email on this, was assured a follow up, pinged again 2 weeks later, was assured a follow up. Eventually called on the issue and was essentially given the run around on this. The salesman said they'd mail plates, but we did not receive plates for the vehicle. I had to eventually call about this and they called back and told me the plates were under the dealer paper covers on the plates. Seems like something they should have handled for me when I picked the car up. Ultimately dealers just want your money, but there should be at least some thin veneer of caring from a dealer. I got none of that here. At one point in the process I thought maybe we might buy our next land rover from them, but thats definitely not the case now. read more

I've bough and leased nearly 8 cars in the last 12 years and have always dreaded going to the dealership to finalize a deal. Same here, I was not looking forward to going in and was telling my wife I'd be back in 3-4 hours, but David has other plans in mind. He has the car pulled up, immediately went on a test drive, explained almost ALL features in a 5 minute test drive without overwhelming me at all, came back, did an inspection of the car together, sat down, ran the numbers instantly, I asked for a price reduction - he had no objections, went to ask the manager and they met me more than half way of my asking reduction. Extremely fair treatment and price especially on a rare very low miles Range Rover sport. Had a purchase contract signed and in hand literally within 45 minutes of getting there. read more

I wish I could give them a sixth star! I've been on AutoTrader for the past 2 months looking for a Used Chevy Bolt and after looking at every single Bolt in San Diego, I decided to search Orange County and LA. Yesterday, I narrowed it down to 2 located in Pasadena Ca. So today I took my wife and kids on a 2 hour drive (on a Saturday) to look at two 2017 Bolts, One at a Chevy Dealer and one across the street at Land Rover Pasadena. After looking at the Certified 2017 Bolt with 50k miles at the Chevy Dealer, I went to look at an identical 2017 Chevy Bolt with 51k miles at Land Rover Pasadena and was greeted by Nerses. The salesman Nerses was very professional, he greeted my family and offered us water and a waiting area inside while he pulled up the car. It was busy at the lot but Nerses was focused on me and my family. Even though this Bolt didn't have two of the features I wanted (DC fastcharging and non-certified) it was clean!! It had new tires and both keys and all the floor mats. I know it's a used car with 51k miles but I felt like I was buying a new Range Rover the way they made me feel. There was ZERO PRESSURE!!!! When it came to the price they gave me a nice discount and I was extremely happy. The sales manager matched my Credit Unions interest Rate which saves me the hassle of going to my bank Monday. Docs went smooth and the finance manager was polished and very professional. Nerses pulled up my freshly detailed Bolt and waved goodbye to me as I pulled away. I have purchased 17 new and used cars in my life sometimes it's a good experience and others not so much, this place is definitely at the top of the list! Overall if you don't want to be "Sold" and just want a good car buying experience and feel good getting the car you want. Then I would recommend purchasing a new or used car from Nerses and Land Rover Pasadena. They made it such a Great Experience! (I'll be back to get my wife one of them $100k RangeRovers!) Land Rover Pasadena has terrible customer service. I've had a good experience with my service rep Clint so far, but everyone else needs training in company policy and customer service. Few examples of LR Pasadena deserves 1 star: 1) when I've brought my 09 RRS for service sometimes they've only washed the bottom part of the car and leave the roof dirty because most people aren't tall enough to see up there. 2) I just got off the phone with the parts dept trying to order a part from them and the guy on the phone had no idea about anything. There is a big sign on their website that says they'll beat any price on parts and after checking with someone else in the office, the parts guy told me that I would have to drive out there in person and prove somehow that another dealer had the part cheaper...then maybe they would see what they can do. Maybe a 5% discount. Guess these guys forget you get 15 miles/gallon in a Range Rover. It would cost me twice as much in gas than what they would "maybe" discount. Then he quotes me a price which is cheaper than what they have listed online, but says he can't give me that price because they don't accept credit cards! Really? In 2014 a luxury car dealership doesn't take credit cards. I should have kept my Mercedes instead of getting a Range! Service at Mercedes is 5-star all the time. read more

This service department is the most inept shop I have ever experienced. My wife's Land Rover has been there for six weeks. She gave them a full list of items to repair when she dropped off. They ordered one part, waited four weeks, then repaired it. In the meantime, they didn't look at any of the other broken items. When they told us the car was ready, we discovered they had only fixed one thing. They then had to order parts for the other repairs. All could have been ordered six weeks ago if they were competent. No communication throughout the entire six weeks other than asking us to leave a positive review. What a joke. It is worth the time to travel to another dealership no matter how close you live to the place. read more

I just leased my car here and after over a week of it being here for a bumper change. I have been keeping in touch with Skylar who told me the car will be ready today at 4:30PM. I had to take off work early , and on my way I called to inform him I am on my way which suddenly changed the time the car was going to be ready to 5:30. I informed him that it is going to be very heavy traffic and very heavy rain and I wish I had known so I would've came the next day during the day and not wait so long. It seemed like me picking up the car the next day was an issue since they gave me a loaner so he said the car will for sure be ready at 5:30. Already leaving work, I said ok. So as I mentioned I got here at 4pm, it is now 6:15 the car is STILL not ready and apparently many people stayed later at work to make sure was complete which I can care a less About. I would've rather waited until the next day not feeling like I'm forced to pick it up today or assured it will be ready. This place is honestly a poop show. And it is my first experience with servicing the car here, I am so unhappy with my overall experience that I regret getting a Land Rover. This would never happen in all my years of owning a BMW. Hire new service techs because your techs waste your company dollars working like slugs and not getting things done and end up costing you thousands when people go purchase another brand. What a shame, you call this a luxury car dealership! Now that's the joke of the year. read more

I must say I have been going to this dealership for sometime owning my Land Rover LR2 since 2007. They do an okay job for the price they pay. However, this last visit with Joseph Campos was awesome! The prices are still rough, but he was as honest as can be and has a truthful mindset to him. This review is for the service department. We worked with Abel to get our running boards installed on our Range Rover. After a rough start with another Service Manager who no longer works at the dealership, we found Abel and he was very helpful and kept us posted with the status of the parts and accommodated us with a Saturday appointment. There were other dealerships/auto shops that offered the same or a slightly better price, but we selected Land Rover Pasadena because of Abel's professionalism and convenience of the dealership location. New Range is nice and sporty...checking it out..nice dealer... plenty of cars to have options in colors and models

Several years ago I was in the market for a new car. I really wanted to look at the fleet of vehicles that Land Rover had to offer. I went to the only nearby dealership with my wife and was shocked by the fact that no one came out to greet us. I walked around the lot for nearly 30 minutes without a single sales representative coming out and greeting me. As an African American male, I am very sensitive about issues like this and really wanted to give these guys a chance. So, I waited another 15 minutes. After receiving several stares from sales reps, without anyone coming out to assist us, I eventually started to leave. That's when one rep came out and asked if we had any questions. To which, I replied, "I might have had questions 45 minutes ago, but none now. Fast forward to this weekend. I was really interested in the Velar along with a buddy of mine and decided to give this dealership another chance. I came in on Saturday, July 20th with my wife and son. Again, I walked out into the lot and was greeted by stares from the sales staff, but no one came out to greet me. We walked around for nearly 15 minutes in 95 degree weather without receiving any acknowledgement of our presence, an offer of water or an invite inside as a reprieve from the heat. Finally a service worker who was in the parking lot, acknowledged our presence and said, "hello" before hastily walking away into the office. Steaming, I told my wife to hop in the car. I cannot believe that I wasted my time by giving this dealership another chance to have my business. I promptly headed over to Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Ontario and received world class customer service. I sincerely hope that someone in this organization recognizes its treatment of customers and more importantly understands that some demographics are more sensitive than others about being openly ignored. Sensitivity, customer service and diversity training is obviously lacking with this organization. I would not recommend this organization to anyone especially an African American like myself who may confuse an organization's culture of terrible customer service as being a personal affront. read more
