By far the WORST customer service experience I've ever had. GM told me to my face that I was the dealership's "worst customer ever." This after I spent nearly $20,000 in repairs on my Range Rover in 2023! These people are beyond EVIL. That's why I filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repairs against them for fraud. My advice is to RUN away from this dealership. I brought my car in to diagnose radio stuck on the Range Rover sign. They took the car in for two weeks and couldn't figure out the problem. They charged me the initial $275 for diagnoses then requested $825 for additional diagnoses. I approved the charges yet no resolution. Barely given me any updates about the car and when I reached out and asked for the car back after two weeks. They told me that they have broke a wood trim and don't have an estimate when they would get the part and fix it. After damaging my car and not able to fix or diagnose the issue with the radio, they requested a payment of $825. I declined the charges so they said we are not going to fix the damage and we are going to call it "even". They are the worst to deal with and they should be ashamed of themselves for asking for payment when they damage the customer's car. read more

Brought my car in for a recall. I made an appointment a month in advance and I dropped my car off in the morning. I asked them if they could also give me a diagnostic on my strut. They said it would be done end of that day. So the day goes by and no call about the car service is closed for the day. I reach out in the morning to see if it was done, I was told almost they will send me the diagnostic soon. So at 11 I get the diagnostic with the quote for the strut. I figured it would be more then my certified Machanic and it was 3x more so I said no thank you and I'll pick it up. I was told it's not ready but will be very soon. It wasn't ready until 430. Over 5 hours after the "very soon time." I pick it up and they didn't even wash it. They did charge me the $250 for the diagnostic. NOTHING ANOUT THIS WAS WHAT I WOULD EXPECT FROM A LUXURY BRAND SERVICE. Very poor experience in every way. read more

A family member of mine took their car in for service. Turns out we needed to change tires. Ok no problem. But the person helping tried to charge us for new tires AND a tire rotation. Tire rotations happen after the first 5,000 miles. Then 6,000-7,000 each subsequent time to ensure even wear on the tires. Why would we need to rotate brand new tires? I leased a car in 2019 for 3 years, at the end of the lease I purchased the car, it has 30,000, did I say 30,000?? well yes! it does only have that many miles!! So I'm getting my car serviced,its going to take more than 2 days I made the appointment over 3 weeks prior and asked for a loaner. When I get there I have no loaner and they may have to keep my car over the weekend and maybe a couple days out of the week. They did offer , gave Uber vouchers but it's the weekend and errands have to be done. It took $60 dollars to get to work. Great Range Rover store! Pros: Nicely located in Pasadena car mile. Nice showroom and friendly staff. There is a pleasant waiting lounge with coffee and a television set up for viewing. The internet sales team brought me into this location and had a nice visit with Arin. He was super transparent and did his best to assist me with my questions pertaining to the new Range Rover 20 models. He is committed to make sure clients are happy with purchase or lease of a car. I also had a chance to visit with one of the managers, Zack as well. Still waiting for my desired car to come in but the experience was great and would consider them again for future car needs and close friends. First poor experience in august 2021: required a part for a 2021 Sport. Ordered the part drove to the dealer only to find out the dealer ordered the wrong part. Inquired if dealer could ship part (My commute is not close and it was a charging cable for a hybrid car maybe 6 lbs) due to their error and dealer refused. Of course had to drive back to pick the part up. Jan 2022: back glass shattered. Inquired with the dealer, spoke to parts who stated they had three windshields available, made an appointment. Arrived to appointment and advisor states they don't have the part. Manager tells me they had it but sold it and states "business is business". Had I been contacted to pay ahead of time I would have. At the bare minimum a courtesy call should have been placed to notify the part was sold in order to save the clients time. Never in my life have I heard of dealers selling parts when an appointment regarding the part has been made. More than likely the responsible individual forgot. It gets better keep scrolling Manager tells me Cerritos has the part and offers to pick it up and have it available in 2 days. I lost a day of work already so that was not possible. I offer to pick up the part same day from Cerritos dealer and bring it back to Pasadena for the service. Pasadena manager states he inquired with Cerritos and it's okay for me to do. Get in my car and drive 1 min away. Pull over and my gut instinct tells me to check with Cerritos dealer. I speak to Cerritos Land Rover who states they told Pasadena Land Rover they did not have the part. I head back to Pasadena Land Rover where management states they meant Torrance Land Rover not Cerritos. the drive to Pasadena was already disappointing, imagine driving to Cerritos due to miscommunication and waste more time? If there is zero, I would give zero. 1. My Range Rover engine light on last week. so I use my own OBD2 scanner scan it in a few seconds. it is P0036(BANK 1 SENSOR 2), just need to replace a oxygen sensor. So I brought my car into this dealership. Service Advisor Marco serve me. he said will help me solve this problem. and he check my car there is a recall, he will help me fix the recall too. everything is good. at this point, I would definitely give 5 stars 2. after 3-4 days, I got a message from Marco, said 1. replace oxygen sensor $1037 dollars! 2. wiper blades $190!. 3. hood latch faulty need new latch $402. 4. check engine light $210! plus routine maintenance $850! Totally $2600. I replied to him, No replace, maintenance only. at this point, everything is ok. 3. I went to land rover pasadena pick it up my car. when I remotely unlock my car, I found remote control doesn't work anymore. I couldn't lock/unlock it. So I said to Marco, when I bring the car in, there is no problem about my remote control. there must be somewhere damaged. Marco replied, if you replace the new hood hatch, remote will work and suggest me do replacement there. I said please return the vehicle as same as I bring it. what I think is, even like he said, hood latch faulty, but there is no any problem with remote when I use, what happened and why there is problem happened, probably I said no? Marco don't explain for me, only said please pay and pick it up your vehicle or said you need replace the hood latch. nothing else. at this point, i would give 3 stars. 4. Marco told me his manager Clayton Bramblett will call me. I said ok. I was thinking the manager will explain everything to me. But actually it is not. He call me and ask me to pick up vehicle no later than tomorrow morning. if he still see this car, he will charge me storage me day by day. I said please help customer solve the problem first. at this point, I would give 2 stars. 5. I email to Marco and Clayton, I am customer, I would like to talk together and solve this problem together, even I can pay half, because this problem is not caused by me. when I left the car there, I trust you and believe you. now you return me a damaged car. But their answer got me angry. they said" when you want pick it up, let me know. they ignore my question. I am so angry for their attitude and treat customer so arrogant. I would give 1 star. 6. I hope we can solve this problem together. but Marco and Clayton are not willing to talk and solve. Probably Clayton is the big boss in dealership. They don't give you a loaner car even though I payed so much money for my luxury car. You don't get luxury service. The final straw was when I took it in for an oil change and Kevin tried to charge me 1400 for an oil change. When I questioned it he said it's a luxury car that is the cost. I called my husband to come in who was waiting for me in his car and Kevin quickly changed his story saying that he never said that price. I told him to give me my car I was never coming back. He claimed the bottle was damaged by rodents and wanted $1873 to replace it (4 hours of labor plus $452 for the windshield reservoir). Our service guy Marco was so rude - I never thought the Land Rover brand would hire someone with such a low level of customer service. The experience there was a night mare: they released my car saying it's just an oil leak and I have to pay for it or fix it elsewhere on my own. But nothing major with the car they said. I drive away. 30ml later my car shuts off on freeway at 60mph speed with my two kids, wife and mother in the car. All possible lights came out on dashboard one by one... In 30 years of owning Range Rovers this the first time I have endured such a horrible experience with the Service Department. I took my car in for repairs on July 5th, 2023 and in 4 weeks, I was only able to have 1 call with my service representative, Steve Ayoub. He failed to communicate any update on the repairs needed. Finally after calling over 30 times and leaving a few voice messages(I'm not a lunatic) he picked up and sent me an email to approve the repairs needed. I never heard from him again. I had to drive over to the dealership unannounced to see what was going on with my car. It had been over a month. I was able to meet with the Service Manager. It was after my meeting with his Service Manager that Steve finally started to text updates. I finally picked up my car on August 7th and the repair was not completed. This dealership obviously does not care about Customer Service and their customer. Additionally both Steve and his Customer Service Manager both trashed Range Rover vehicles as the worst and said they would never purchase one. Again a sales inquiry and LR Pasadena has FAILED. This time around we are looking to replace our 2016 Discovery Sport which did not come from this dealership because of their lackluster showing in 2015. I inquired about upgrading to the full sized 2018 Discovery which replaces the old LR4. Heard a lot of good things about Discovery and since I already have the smaller brother, it's a natural progression so I thought.... Made contact with a Mr. Miller and when I asked about the finding a Discovery with massage front seats & climate controlled heat/cool option he went blank. Said he would call back to check. OK, so it's likely a sales person would not know about every option available but then he calls back and says he checked with MANAGEMENT with over 89 years of combined experience - they said no such option exists on the Discovery AND they would no know how to order such a car. So I called Land Rover North America and the representative said that yes a massage seat option exists called "Luxury Climate Seat Package - seat pack 5" which is available on the HSE and HSE Luxury trims. I then contacted a JLR dealer further away in OC and their Internet sales person said yes - they have 2 Discovery HSE Luxury equipped with the seat massage feature. They said they can even order a custom made Discovery on the HSE trim which is what I wanted by placing a $1000 deposit. I don't know for a fact that this sales person actually spoke to management because I know for a fact that they are all sent on training. Unless this sales clown missed all the training days, I have no idea how he can sell Land Rovers! Based on the fact this dealership has no clue on how to take care of it's customers, I would be safe to say: STAY AWAY. You have been warned! read more

I just recently purchased my Land Rover and was surprised to find one of my speakers was blown. No biggie, it's under warranty so it will get fixed for free. I set an appointment for October 28th thinking it would take at most a week. Here we are November 20th and they still haven't assessed the issue, let alone replace it! I'm in the customer service industry and so far they have let me down. I'm leery about any other servicing I might need in the future. Definitely doubting my purchase.
