As soon as I stepped out of my car I was greeted by the greeter (how fitting) and was introduced to my sales person, Connie. She was very friendly and helpful. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable because I wanted something on the cheap side. She knew her stuff too - we started talking about old Ford cars, and she knew the year that they had the 5.0 liter engine in the Mark VII. I drove one of those when I was 16 - talk about a bad idea, Dad. I ended up getting a good vehicle for a good price. The gas mileage in the new 4-cylinder Escape is crazy-good. I haven't found any SUV with better gas mileage - and the pickup and go is unlike any 4-cylinder that I have ever driven. Very impressive, indeed. Overall great experience... but I haven't had to go to the service center. I do like the idea of the hours - they are insanely good. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the first time I have to bring in the car will be a long time from now! :) read more

As a Black woman when I went to Landmark Ford Lincoln in Tigard I felt uncomfortable . I experienced horrible customer service and many not so subtle micro aggressions. I fought my urge to walk out of there, but my desire to buy a Bronco won over. For instance, when I walked in the door an older white man instead of greeting me turned around and walked to the back office. Another old white man, Jim Warner, gave me the once over which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Two things happened: Warner and I walked to where the Broncos were, but first he wanted to scan my driver's license. I have been in for a test drive before when I was with my white friend, he never asked to scan my license then. He also insisted on driving the car out of the parking lot before I could take it on a test drive. Another occurrence that didn't happen when my white friend and I test drove another vehicle the year before. He drove up to the main office and without explanation, another man came out and took over. What really upset me was the almost hostile atmosphere of the old white men there. Warner appeared to be uninterested in sell anything. I don't feel like Warner deserves any of Travis commission. To say I was incredibly ill at ease was an understatement. read more

Do not purchase a vehicle here if you are going to rely on their service (tan team) department which is completely incompetent. Every time I drop my car here for service, they call me to tell me it is done and they have actually done NOTHING. Waste of time and energy. They can't even run a car through a car wash when they are finished with it. They certainly do not live up to their commercial advertisement. Not only that, I had to pay for an Uber to be transported back to pick up my "finished" truck because the shuttle was an hour away. read more

He kept me informed throughout the process and ensured the vehicle was exactly what I was looking for when it arrived. Took my 1999 F150 with 272,000 miles to their service department from 2012 to early 2022. Okay routine service and timely but not very good at diagnostics for older vehicles. In Jan 2022 they could not solve my corrosion issue after several tries (heater core replaced several times /had no heat or defroster as a result). Also had an oil leak. Head of service told me it was time for a new engine and transmission or purchasing a new vehicle. Took the F150 to Accurate Auto in Lake Oswego who had a master Ford Mechanic (who worked at Ford for 25 years) and he diagnosed the issues exactly and installed a new heavy duty battery cable, new radiator and one engine gasket plus used the correct coolant (this is a very common corrosion issue with old F150's). Cost me $4512. My F150 runs like a new vehicle the last two plus years. I was so happy with it I installed new leather seats, new windshield and new headlights. Looks gorgeous also. Only thing else I have had to do was replace brake pads and routine servicing. So in the last two years spent a total of about $6k and driven about 25,000 trouble free miles. Almost at 300,000 and still going strong. Sure beats getting a new engine/transmission or replacing the vehicle. Forget any dealer if you have an older vehicle with issues. They don't want to deal with them. read more

The service department is run like a sales department. It's hard to believe their diagnostic information based on their communication and "sales pitch" approach. I brought my older Ford in and hoped they'd have easier access to parts and accessories. They didn't. They also have several different "teams" that work different hours of the week so you're at their mercy as far as when they can update you on progress with your vehicle. This is a car lot with a service department. Not a service department you should seek out if you don't have some kind of lease agreement. read more

I came in to get an oil change and the timing was right. I was very happy with the customer service and the fast completion of what I needed to have done. The lobby was warm and comfortable although the sofa was a bit over used. They offer free tea or coffee while you wait and the day was a bit wet and chilly so I was happy to get a cup of hot tea. Poor Customer Service/Lack of Communication at Landmark Ford Lincoln Yesterday (Tuesday November 9, 2021), I test drove a pre-owned Chevy Volt at this dealership. At the conclusion of the test drive, we made it clear to the sales rep that we were interested in purchasing the vehicle, and we asked what their best price would be. My partner and I were moving to the area, and the car would be for her. We were willing to pay cash soon after she arrived in town that upcoming Friday. We were also willing to pay a deposit to hold the vehicle in the meantime. We explained all this to the sales rep who assured us that at the conclusion of the credit application, we would be able to pay the deposit and hold the car. He would send over the credit application that same night. We were in for a surprise the next day. Today (Wednesday November 10, 2021), we called to check in with someone else, because the sales rep was not in the office that day. We were told that the car was sold to another customer just moments before we called. Apparently, there was a miscommunication somewhere - as this was also a surprise to the sales rep. We were completed blindsided. The sales manager did apologize - but held firm that he could not collect a car that was already sold, and that vehicles were sold "first-come-first-serve'. The problem is - we were there first. We communicated interest first. We were prepared to pay first. The fact that there was zero pro-active communication is the part that stands out to me the most. Interested customers deserve better. This has been a truly disappointing experience, and I caution anyone from landing into the same unfortunate surprise at Landmark Ford Lincoln. read more

I would definitely bring my car back here because of the excellent customer service given to me by Kraig Westberg. I was having trouble with the trunk opening in my Lincoln MKZ. I took it to my body shop where they were unable to find the problem. I was pleased with all the trouble shooting and problem solving that was done at landmark. NOTE: This review is about the service department of Landmark Ford specifically. I have no experience buying a car from this dealer, but would not hesitate. I'm not usually a "take the car to the dealer" kind of person, because dealers are often more expensive and I drive older vehicles. That being said, I religiously get my oil changed at Landmark Ford / Lincoln and have for the three year period I've had my truck. To say they take great care of me is an absolute understatement. For a reasonable price I get a quality oil change, and an inspection of my truck that I always feel is fair. They find things some times, and when they do they're honest about what they find and what does or does not need to be addressed. Most importantly: this service department is open late! Even though I live in Portland and this dealership is in Tigard, it's worth the commute for the service I receive. They never call me or bug me about service, like certain Toyota dealers in Portland do, either. I've had plenty of work done by Landmark on my truck over the years, and at this point I don't even bother to check rates at other shops. Sure, other shops might be a little cheaper, but I trust Landmark to get the job done right. I purchased my truck at a CERTAIN OTHER FORD DEALER IN PORTLAND used and was shocked at some maintenance items they missed that I had Landmark correct. I would not hesitate for a moment to buy a new or used vehicle from these folks, because I know they know how to take care of their customers and their vehicles. read more

When things go wrong, they do not stand behind their work. Lots of claims of "do everything to ensure customer satisfaction", but in my experience they immediately went to listing ways to duck responsibility, failed to return calls, and in the end did absolutely nothing to make things right. o disappointed in this place. I got my car from another dealership and when it was having issues with the transmission they sent it here to this ford to get fixed. About a year later my car is having the same issues it had before, and when I called to see if it was under warranty still (Previous dealership I got my car from said it should be covered under warranty) the guy I talked to was so rude! I explained to him what was happening and how I'm pretty sure its the same issue from before. He just kept saying how " I cant guarantee that's the issue" and I understood that but I was asking if it was STILL the same issue would it be covered, He continued to cut me off the phone and told me "it is what it is, I already told you" and then I told him how I'm not sure how to proceed and he was all about " I already explained this to you, it is what it is" and then he hung up on me!! It was so rude and just unprofessional. Just super rude when I'm just trying to get my car fixed. definitely don't plan on coming in with my car after my experience with this guy. I never dealt with someone in service who was so unprofessional and rude all around. not to mention they deleted my comment a third time so I'm going to keep posting . this place is a joke read more

MISQUOTED, WAS NOT TOLD I WOULDN'T HAVE MY CAR FOR FOUR DAYS. WAS TOLD TWO HOURS EVEN THOUGH THE CAR PROBLEMS DIDN'T CHANGE. IF I COULD DO ZERO STARS I WOULD Never ever go here. I have gone here so many times out of necessity because I live too far away from the other ford dealerships to use their shuttle service and every time I tell my family and my friends the horrors and say I'll never go there again because I've never had a fully comprehensive conversation with one of the repair guys. I was misquoted twice this time around. He originally said 109 then when we talked the next day it was 220 even though nothing had changed and then when I finally got my car back it was thirty dollars more. Luckily this has happened to me everytime I've gone here so I came ready with an extra hundred dollars. Is it really so hard to give someone a correct quote over the phone when they ask for a verbal confirmation of total price? Also I dropped my car off on Friday and I had to get some finances in order to make it work after he told me the original 109 and so I didn't get back to him until late but we spoke probably three times and I told him I may not be able to move forward that night. The next morning he's not answering so I call the main number and the woman tells me that the team I'm working with is gone for the weekend and none of the weekend teams could look at it. No one told me this. If he had mentioned it or said "hey just so you know if we can't move forward tonight then we won't be here for the weekend" if ANYTHING at all had been said like that then I would've told him to just move forward that night. Instead I had to cancel all my errands for the weekend because I had no access to my car. Then I find out that on Monday the team isn't in until 4 so I leave messages. He calls me at four says that it'll be like 1.5 to 2 hours. I says that's fine because what am I gonna do at this point. At least there is someone actually there finally looking at my car. Then I don't hear from him for a few hours I call at 8. FOUR HOURS LATER and leave a message to ask for a friendly time update. No response. I call again at nine. Finally I've decided to go to bed because I've already missed work because I had no car and I have work in the morning at six so I figured I might as well sleep at ten so I could wake up early and figure something out to get there. Then I finally get a call back and he says it'll be ready. Will never go here again. I warn all to stay away. read more

My review is strictly for the parts department. I was helped by Tim, and he was great. I just bought an older Ford from a private party. I have been looking for a missing part and was confused by what I was finding online. I have in the past called dealerships for help on older vehicles, and usually my experience is not great. They hear you have an older vehicle that was not purchased through them, and they quickly could care less. But not Tim, even though my part was obsolete and no longer made, he searched around and found one for me. He also advised me about what I was finding online. Now I have the parts number and can feel comfortable with my decision. It was probably a phone call just like any other to Tim, but it was a big help to me! read more

Short story: Came in to get an oil change, turned over the keys to my car, and it disappeared into the black hole of the service department. Never coming back here for service ever again. Full story: Last Saturday, I brought my car in because it was due for an oil change. The fast lube team seemingly took care of everything and I picked up my car thinking we were good to go. When I made it onto the freeway, after I started hitting 55 mph, the car started to shake. I don't know what happened between my dropping it off and picking it up again that day, except that my car was no longer driving like it did when I dropped it off. But apparently the service department at Landmark Ford doesn't know either. Realizing there was a problem but not being able to get it fixed on Sunday due to my work schedule and also wanting to get it fixed before I was supposed to leave town to drive to Bend on Tuesday morning, I dropped it off yesterday (Monday) at 3pm, and shortly after received a call from the silver team regarding their plan to find and fix the problem with my car. Everything made sense, so I thought the would quickly find the problem and let me know. But by midnight (when that service team was supposed to be done for the night) I hadn't heard anything about what had been done, nor any updates about what they think went wrong. This morning I called twice, was told that the service team working on my vehicle wouldn't be in until 3pm, but I could talk with their service director. Tried talking to said SERVICE director, but only was left with an answering machine both times. STILL no word on my car, no callbacks, no updates, and at this point, I don't know when/if I'll be able to leave to go visit the family for the vacation I requested off. Because I don't have my car and nobody at Landmark Ford will update me on how long or when my car will ever be fixed. AFTER IT WAS FAST LUBE THAT BROKE IT. So far this has cost me time, Uber trips, and precious time with family that I haven't seen in 3 years. All I want is to know what is going on and to trust that my car will be fixed. Not completely left in the dark after repeatedly calling to ask what's goin At this point I'm stranded with no car, no communication from the dealership, unable to actually go on the vacation that I never take time off from work to go on. And losing money to do so. Thanks for ruining this week for me, Landmark. I'd rather drive my car to Bend for service than come back again. One star. UPDATE: As of 7/10/19, I have dropped off my car once again for service at Landmark Ford. When I posted this review all of the above story was true, and I hadn't heard back from anyone in the service department. When I did hear back, Shari in the service department was quickly able to locate my vehicle, assess what needed to be done and get my vehicle back to me. Thanks to Kurt and Shari, I am willing to give Landmark another chance to help me with my vehicle. At this point my continued business will be dependent on the service I receive moving forward, and the condition that I never experience the lack of communication that happened with my vehicle last week. This review is for the Service Department. I brought my car in for an oil change and to identify a rattle that was happening. After they had the car no more than 10 min, the service guy came out and told me my car isn't safe to drive and that I have bolts loose and stripped that hold my torque converter on my transmission. They told me it was going to be $3k to replace the torque converter, seal and the bolts. He also said that they could just tighten the screws but they can't guarantee alignment and I would blow my transmission in the near future if I did that. ($120 for 5 min of tightening what sounded like 4 bolts) And if I don't do anything the "whole front of the transmission will come off". I said that the $3k is something I'll have to budget for and asked when the car would be ready. Not only did they not even go over the inspection with me (which it sounds like I need an alignment and there's some fluid leaking from ... somewhere? FIX IMMEDIATELY!!! According to the print out), charged me $80 for 5 min of diagnosis, and lied to me. I drove the car home deathly afraid for my life and others if those screws came loose. I have since had the car looked at by a few transmission experts. They even took the time to show me the parts (namely the housing for the torque converter) and how it was a flat out lie that the transmission may not line up if they tightened the bolts. Because that was the only thing wrong. Nothing was stripped. In the end the fix on the transmission was free, something Ford's horrible service department should have done if they had an ounce of decency. I worry what Ford would have done if I had paid the $3k on the spot to get the work completed that they said had to be done. Would they have gladly taken my money, spent a few minutes tightening bolts, and smiled the whole time knowing that they weren't doing the work that they told me they were going to do? I shudder to think about that. Oh, still don't know what fluid is leaking or where it's leaking but that could have been a flat out lie as well. I will never return to this dealership for any type of service. Buyer beware. read more

This review is related to Ford Service at Landmark Ford. Professional, enduring, supportive. James Case and the Blue Team are worth seeking out. Many of us don't care much about the vehicles we own - fill it with gas, change the oil, wear out the tires. Some of us though feel our vehicles are more than just a source of transportation. That's the group I'm in. When I entrust someone to work on or repair my vehicle, I do just that. I trust that they will do what needs to be done and that it will be done correctly. Without that level of trust, we suffer the consequences of reliance upon previous experience. Well, I didn't have that luxury in this instance. I was going in blind - flying on the reputation of the badge, reviews from Yelpers, and my gut. That was it. Experience with service at dealerships can be hit and miss. They are all governed by the customer voice however, so if something does happen that is outside the realm of normality, usually things can be remedied by going to the top and making your voice heard. Sometimes it's necessary to speak a bit louder so that managers are absolutely sure to hear you, but that hasn't been the case here. I was in need of fix - an intermittent issue (almost always difficult to pinpoint and remedy) that was tough to replicate. The Blue Team lead by James Case did what they could the first time with little success. I was forced, as I had presumed, to return upon the vehicles failure. There were no charges due for the time that had been spent attempting to replicate the issue, which I thought was more than fair. Many others would charge for this troubleshooting - not Landmark Ford in this instance. Thank you. A week later and the problem manifested itself such that a tow to the dealership was required. The problem was shortly diagnosed and an estimate for repair was shared with me. An agreement was struck for repairs and fees over the phone, and the work was completed on time and on budget. With hourly fees for dealership service teetering $100 an hour, it can hurt to have unscheduled work done to your vehicle. If it is possible to feel a level of trust and comfort with whom you choose to have this expensive work done, at least there may be a level of reinforcement with the work performed. There is just that in this instance, and positive enough for me to share it with those interested. read more

This is where I eventually got my car the first time we were looking for one. Luckily we knew someone who worked there. Anyways we got a great deal on a uses 2000 Ford Taurus back in October of 2001. Last month I had an issue with my car in regards to the power steering fluid. Pretty much had to replace everything that the power steering needed, but it was nice to know that at 11:30PM you can go in, by a tow truck be taken care of. So, in this case it was more power steering fluid, the advisor who was there said I had enough to make it home and to bring it back the next day becuase there was a leak. So, I did and that's how I found out that I needed to get that fixed. Now, the only complain I have about Landmark Ford is that the service advisor I normally go to has no customer service skills. He's a pretty good guy, but he comes off rather gruff and it seems he doesn't try too hard to get the best deal for you in regards to repairs and cost. That's what brings it to around 4 stars for Landmark. If you are looking for a car whether it's used or new I suggest going there. read more

Going in, I had an idea what the issue with my car was after having researched it on the Internet and talking to other others who had the same problem with me. 3 hours and almost $250 later, my appointed service guy and the technician come out to explain that they think the issue I have is basically what I assumed it was going into the shop. They explained things to me like I was a five year-old girl; I felt insulted because they kept asking me if I understood what they had just said. I asked them if they fixed the issue. They said, no, we only ran the hose over it but didn't take any parts out - they took the front bumper off and that's it. They told me it could take anywhere from 1 to 3 days, and that the service bulletin they needed to consult couldn't be checked because the machine was down. So, I said to them, "You basically ran a hose over a car and took off the bumper, but didn't assess the problem?" They said, well, they'd need a few days. My car isn't under warranty and they couldn't even give me an estimate, even though they had seen this problem "once or twice" before as to how long it would (approximately) be in the shop for. Therefore, I'm taking my car someplace else. read more

I don't like reviewing anything that has to do with my car or my car being serviced, I'm always nervous that a month later i;ll find they re assembled by transmission with gum and garden hoses. This is the exception though, because David and the tan team at the Landmark service department totally impressed me and got me back on the road following a no good horrible day. It all started in a McDonald's parking lot in Tualatin. I was pulled over, smoke plumes wafting from underneath my hood while a green liquid poured from beneath my car all over the parking lot. I was sitting there stunned, with my two year old in the backseat. I called my insurance provider for a tow and was informed I only had 15 miles before I'd be paying out of pocket. Since my preferred shop was back home 25 miles away I told them to just take it to the nearest Ford dealer. I figured I'd be over charged and jerked around; this has been my impression of dealers in the past. I was sure they'd find a million things wrong with it and It would be days before I'd get my car back. I was ready to give up on her and buy a new car in fact, and then I talked to David. Less than 24 hours later I was driving my car home. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have my car back so quickly! While I was paying they pulled it around for me, and then helped me, my toddler and the carseat back into the car. It was as painless as a $380 repair could have been. read more

I have had my 2007 Ford serviced there for 7 years and have always had professional service at reasonable prices. Sometimes they wash my car free. Their waiting room is comfortable and free coffee. I would recommend them. They stay open late and will give you a ride home when they need to keep your car longer. read more

Very friendly service adviser, techs and staff in general... they took good care of me when I had a major transmission issue, even getting me a free loaner car. Unfortunately downhill from there. I had a bunch of small issues with my car under warranty and they "couldn't duplicate", all with only around 20k miles on my car. Well, I had to do the service advisers job and found the Technical Service Bulletin for my dome light issue and by the time I got my car in I was over 2 miles over the warranty and denied... seriously? He said he would try to get approval and call me back but never did... They wouldn't even put a drop of grease on my squeaky brake pedal, just got the "no trouble found"... ya, the ONLY time it doesn't squeak is under 40 degrees and that's when it was in, seriously how hard is for them to put a drop of grease on it? I was blown off for other issues too, motor mount, transmission issues returning... They even tried to overcharge me for my oil change until I caught it when I paid... I say avoid them if you can... They will be nice at first but then blow you off once they realize you know what you are talking about and don't want to deal with you anymore. I was polite as could be, I just wanted my issues resolved. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, take your vehicle to their service department! SEEK SERVICE SOMEWHERE ELSE! Took in our Ford F150 for them to program a manual break controller and change a tail light, the vehicle was perfectly fine. When we picked it up multiple sensors were triggered along with the ABS was acting up, to the point of which the steering would shake on the road. We took the vehicle back and all of a sudden they blamed the lift kit stating it was a wiring issue, and stated they would not cover it under warranty. We contacted the original dealership where the vehicle was purchased out of state as well as the 3rd party that did the lift for the original dealership, as we purchased the vehicle with the leveling kit in place. Both were in shock that Landmark Ford refused to fix the wiring issue that supposedly appeared same day we took the vehicle in. However both other parties were willing to do whatever it took to fix the vehicle, except Landmark Ford! Their customer service is horrendous. My husband works in sales and I help run a vehicle outfitting company, this was a 1/2 - 1 hr labor, your average labor our is $150. So they would rather argue and hung up on us on multiple occasions rather than fix the matter at hand for the minimal costs to repair and have a returning customer. In the end our original dealership out of state agreed to cover the costs and get our vehicle fixed! Landmark Ford Lincoln knows nothing about customer service, and are just as clueless when it comes to knowing vehicles! As they also advised we wouldn't need a manual break controller to tow a travel trailer. I cannot express how awful this experience was, and could not encourage you more to seek service somewhere else! read more

Just finished up buying pre-owned car from Landmark Ford and overall experience was excellent. Ron B., our salesperson, and Ken and Dan (#s guy) we're all professional and easy to work with. We had looked at CarMax and other dealerships but in end best value was at Landmark. They are a COSTCO dealer and though CarMax had great price - in end Landmark seemed more focused on making sure car was checked out and in great shape. Never seen a cleaner looking car. Service Dept......what a joke! I spent hrs waiting for a call back to get an appointment, and they never called back. I gave up on the return call and booked an appointment on line, then waited on their promised reply email to confirm my appt; I never received an email. I called once again to confirm this appt. Today I arrive 15 minutes ahead of my appointment and wait 5 minutes to be checked in......then I'm told my oil change will take 2 hrs, after all, my appointment is just a check in time. Even though I live in Seattle WA I decided to buy my new ford from landmark ford in Portland. It wasn't because of the amazing deals or the convenience--it was the customer service from start to finish. I worked with Conan on this and from our first phone call he was responsive and honest. Landmark Ford was the third ford dealership that I went to, the first two being here in the seattle area. The first dealership I visited in bellevue, the salesman was super nice until I told him I wasn't ready to buy and that i wanted to test drive other cars. At that point he through a temper tantrum and refused to give me his card. At the second place in Kirkland, I worked with two separate salesmen. The first point blank told my father he would explain everything to him since he would understand that while I, a woman with a masters, a job, and is a home owner wouldn't. The second man decided to walk away from the deal in the middle of it. While this was a large digression it serves to illustrate that the people who work at landmark ford were nothing like that. Conan walked me through the process, he got me qualified for a great interest rate (the guy at the kirkland dealership told me I only qualified for a much higher % interest rate!) He was patient while I worked out my finances. He never talked down to me. He was responsive and he spent a lot of time on the phone with an out of town buyer when it was just as likely I may go elsewhere. I also want to give a shout out to Aaron who did the financing paper work. He went over everything again and when he presented me with the additional options like extended warranties, he didn't become pushy and offered to give me extra time to think about it. While none of this seems major, Landmark Ford showed that they understand what goes into making a major purchase. They never made me inferior. I love my car! Thanks guys!! read more

Does ok work. They have a weird system where they assign you a color when you buy a car and forever you can only work with that color team. They downgraded their shuttle system lately and it makes you wait if you need a drop off while your car is worked on. When I return today everything should be paid for else I'll make another post. read more
