    French Fries

Was in Sandusky for a trip and made a reservation at Landmark based on the good reviews and it did not disappoint. The place is large and hosts a great view of the water. There is tons of seating and the service was speedy and friendly. Our waitress was awesome and gave great recommendations to myself and friends. The mnu is fairly large and I appreciated that they offered a wide variety of menu items that included "fancier" type entrees like the pasta, chicken, and fish options as well as handheld options like wraps and burgers as well as salads. There is definitely something for everyone as well as lots of shareables and sides to choose from. All the food was absolutely delish with the brussell sprouts being a fan favorite. They were even able to split the tuscan chicken entree onto two plates equally which was so awesome and avoided any mess of sharing across plates. All the drinks were also fabulous and offered a great variety to choose from. Everything had great flavor and was cooked very well. This place is gorgeous, and the prices are good for the high quality and portion sizes. Definitely stop in if you are in Sandusky and need a place to get some good food. I definitely recommend the Brussell sprouts! The French fries were also unexpectedly VERY good as everyone loved them.

We had a luck to be able to seat outside on the terrace facing fountain, while a local musician's performance.. and it made our experience so much better. We had good a service, decided to go with some local catch (perch) and it was very good. Apart from the food, service and a music, view very unbeatable.

We had a work dinner here. The appetizers were great. The server was very kind and efficient with a large group. I had the pork chops, they were really good. I was hesitant about the apples on top but they actually paired really well with the pork. Overall, I would definitely recommend you come eat here if you find yourself in Sandusky, Ohio.

Dinner overlooking the lake and sunset is what we were looking for passing through Sandusky and we weren't disappointed. We had a nice patio table. Server was friendly and service was fast. We had the clams and calamari for appetizers and they were good. For our mains we tried the perch, blackened mahi and shrimp and scallop malta. Everything was tasty. Happy tummy!

The food was amazing and great portions for the price. We stopped by for dinner on the lake. Great spot with a full bar. Our waiter was polite and helpful. Thanks!

Went to landmark during lunch time. The service was very fast and there was plenty of seating at this time. The waitress was super helpful with all her recommendations. We tried the gumbo which was absolutely delicious. I wish I had ordered a whole bowl. The seafood wrap was probably my favorite dish. The Mahi was spiced perfectly. It was slightly spicy (which I love). We also ordered the Landmark special, I definitely recommend getting the fish blackened. It adds a lot more flavor. It was not that spicy either if you don't like spice. The burger was okay. Overall, this place was really good. They have homemade desserts & soups daily. Apparently they have a prime rib special after 5 pm. Will be back.

Salmon pan seared with mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli. Excellent meal for a Birthday celebration!

It was a quiet Thursday evening so they were not too busy. Service was wonderful, water and drinks brought quickly. The meal was the best! I didn't expect a fine dinning experience. We have been here for great perch and burgers but this meal surpassed our expectations!

It was a smaller store front, cozy and a hidden gem! The restaurant has so much personality, with years of awards proudly displayed throughout the dining room. Before the food even arrived, we knew we had found somewhere special. We started with the Bistro Onion Soup and the Red Pepper Lobster Bisque. French onion soup and lobster bisque are two of my all-time favorites, so my expectations were high. The Bistro Onion Soup absolutely delivered--rich, flavorful broth, perfectly tender onions, and an incredible blanket of melted cheese. Easily one of the best onion soups I've ever had. The Red Pepper Lobster Bisque was equally memorable. The sweetness of the roasted red peppers paired beautifully with the lobster, creating a unique twist that really worked. My husband and older son both ordered the Momma Mia. A spaghetti sandwich? We were intrigued! My son gave it a 9/10 and said it tasted like a lasagna sandwich. He'd order it again without hesitation. My youngest chose Ziggy the Piggy and declared it "the best sandwich I've ever had." That's high praise from a 10-year-old! He gave it a perfect 10/10, and the sandwich was nearly as big as his head. Honestly, reading the menu made us want to come back just to try everything else. Every item sounded delicious. What made the experience even better was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. That kind of hospitality is hard to fake, and it made us feel right at home. If you're passing through--or even if you're not--Zuppaman is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Going back to the time when I was born (in Ireland, but this story began in another part of Europe) In the 1950's outside of Athens, Greece when a family traveled from there to the United States in search of a better life. The mother found comfort in a foreign land while working as a baker, hand-making the recipes she brought with her. She passed these recipes on, with love. Another begins in the 1980's on the Italian island of Sardinia when a young man in the U.S. Navy, met a local girl & brought her back to the United States to raise their family. Think snack bar at the roller rink or high school football game. Granted the menu is far from a snack bar and I do give them credit for aiming high with some pretty aspirational dishes. While other reviews suggest table service, that was not our experience. You ordered at the counter, given a pager, and fetched your food when the devices beeped incessantly. You buss your own table too. My wife ordered the lobster roll, which was rather competitively priced. Unfortunately, it was primarily filled with lettuce and tomatoes, with an OK amount lobster meat. She didn't care for the celery and green onion mixed in, not traditional lobster roll ingredients. I had the perch tacos, a first for me. Again, novel idea but lacking on execution. A few thin fish strips in each taco were more breading than fish. My wife couldn't have more than one sip of her cocktail and my IPA was warm. Anything waterside will have a natural appeal but the furniture and seating area is nothing more than a sidewalk. $61 for a serve yourself concession stand experience is more fitting for a stadium or sports arena.
