Family visiting wanted good seafood and I suggested Landry's. Everyone was overly pleased with their food. Our waiter, J-red was fantastic, knowledgeable, professional & a great host assigned yo our table. Everything he suggested we tried and we were not disappointed. The ambiance was so relaxing. The entire experience was 10/10. Afterward, the children fed the Koi and the family became stuck in a ferris wheel with no air. However, the family made the best out of an extremely hot & sticky situation.

The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. We started with the crawfish bread, spinach crab and artichoke dip, and shrimp cocktail, and each appetizer was absolutely delicious. The crawfish bread was rich and flavorful, the dip was creamy and packed with seafood, and the shrimp cocktail was fresh, chilled, and beautifully presented. In addition to the excellent food, the service was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our meal. The staff made us feel welcome and ensured everything was prepared perfectly. It's clear that quality and hospitality are priorities here, and it made for a memorable dining experience. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend Landry's Seafood House to anyone looking for fresh seafood, great service, and a relaxing dining atmosphere; especially on the patio!

Don't sleep on Landry's.... We came here to try something new and because we were both craving seafood. We made a reservation for 7:30 and were seated promptly. Within a few minutes our server came by and she really set the tone for the rest of the evening. We each got side Caesar's to start (although I got mine with balsamic), and I got the tangy agave. I asked her for some bread with our meal, which she was happy to bring but because I didn't see the bill, I'm unsure whether it was complimentary. I was a little puzzled why my dressing came on the side but it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall, the salads were both good and I loved the drink because you could taste the passion fruit. Since I didn't t see a dish specifically for grilled shrimp, I got two broiled shrimp skewers and an order of rice pilaf. The shrimp was pretty good, but I wish I had chose a different way of having it prepared. I loved the pilaf and thought both were seasoned well. Even though most of what I got what small, it was super filling. Everything was perfect from start to finish and our server was excellent. I'll def be back.

Service was great but I go there for the food. The seafood options are always great. I got the Redfish with the Melissa toppings and my wife got the mahi mahi with lemon pepper. Both were delicious. We went on a Thursday night and had a 25 minute wait but due to a lack of servers. Plenty of tables just 4 servers working. Overall great experience. If you like fish this is your place to go.

My mom has been living in Missouri for two years and had not yet patron this restaurant. We were waiting for another family member to come in on the train so we had enough time to have lunch The restaurant was dimly lit but had a beautiful view of the outdoor fountain. Our waitress Cory, was amazing! She played along with my bad jokes and even offered a few fun comebacks to play along, she had a smile, spoke well to the menu and was happy to get drink orders quickly. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was PHENOMENAL. Melt in your mouth, cooked to perfection! I have been trying to find Chilean Sea bass this good for a decade. This was my first experience downtown and reading reviews about the area, I was pleasantly surprised at the level of class, food quality and service rendered. Definitely a great way to start my trip' Keep killing it Cory!

Josh at Landry's was an excellent waiter. He provided suggestions on what to order and he was 100% correct. . I could have sworn the tomato mozzarella and basil was picked in their personal garden it was so fresh. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent. Most of all, Josh provided excellent customer service. He was kind and funny and told us about the famous Edgar the Egret. We knew nothing about this bird and he took several picture of us with Edgar. Definitely ask for Josh when visiting St. Louis Landry's Seafood House!

I've been to Landry's a couple times previously to this review and one of my coworkers gave me $100 gift card for the holidays so I decided to take my wife out for lunch. I like seafood but she lives for it . We went on a Sunday so we didn't have to reserve but I recommend from previous experiences to reserve over the phone or via the Open Table app so that you get a table as this place gets packed! I wish I remembered the servers name but she was AMAZING, detailed and very quick with refilling and making sure we were ok with everything. There is TON of seating between the bar area, tables and chairs and a few booths. I decided to get the fish and chips and the southern fried catfish. Everything was delishes as always but I really loved the southern fried catfish, it was fried like I like it and it was seasoned perfect. My wife got the osters, a salad and the blue crab cakes. She enjoyed her meal as well and this is always a spot we will go to for our usual date meals.

The food was delicious. I had the red snapper pan seared/blackened with the crescent city topper. Service on the other hand was rough, it took us about an hour to get our drinks and apps came about 10 mins after that. The dinner came out relatively quick after the apps.

Great decor, service, ambiance, everything. This place has all the selection, a great variety of wines to choose from. An extensive lunch and dinner menu for fish. They are mindful of shellfish allergies. The drinks are stiff and well made. I had one of the best service waitresses there and couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience. Great place for family or lovers.

This is a great option to grab food when visiting Union Station! My family and I all got their fish and chips entree. It was pretty good but was more on the oily side. We came in at noon and they were not super busy for their lunch service, our waitress was attentive and friendly!

Oh my goodness! This place is right outside a venue. You don't expect a whole lot... mostly stuff for tourists. But, shocker... The food is some of the best stuff ever! So we get here and give our name for our reservation. We are led to the table early and given the right amount of time between ordering drinks, ordering food, etc. The delivery took a bit long... which is why one star is missing. But, the food is to die for! Come get some of this amazing seafood!

Portions were huge Shrimp was very good The low rankings from service: placed online order at 5:30pm for a 6pm pick up. Think lost track of the order. Ordered & paid for avacado on sandwich, didn't come with it! Wasn't busy, light crowd for 6pm - not sure what happened

Never would have thought our…read morefirst night's meal would have been some Cajun Creole food in St Louis style BBQ Country We were so pleased with our decision as their food rivaled anything in New Orleans. As an avid oyster lover, never would have guessed we would have the option for charred grilled oysters in Missouri. We started with Stella on tap, which just felt appropriate while visiting St. Louis, especially after touring the nearby Anheuser-Busch brewery. It was easily one of the freshest Stellas we've ever had. For food, we tried the lobster mac and cheese, lobster bisque with pieces of lobster, a pound of steamed crab legs, fried green tomatoes, and the warm lobster roll. The lobster roll was phenomenal. We shared it, but I honestly could have eaten the entire sandwich myself. The real standout, though, was just how perfectly the seafood was cooked. Both the lobster and crab were juicy, sweet, and tender with just the right amount of chew. Nothing was rubbery or overcooked, but it wasn't soft or mushy either. I genuinely don't think they could have cooked the seafood any better. The fried green tomatoes were also cooked perfectly and something I was excited to try since you don't see them on every menu. Unfortunately, they were a little too spicy for my personal taste, so we didn't finish them, but that's definitely more about my spice tolerance than the quality of the dish. The atmosphere was another plus. It's a really cute setup with great ambiance, and our server was wonderful. We also walked right in without a reservation and had no wait at all, which has honestly been one of our favorite things about eating our way through St. Louis. Coming from California, we're used to having to plan ahead for popular restaurants, sometimes weeks in advance. Here, we've been able to discover some fantastic places without having to plan our entire trip around restaurant reservations. I will say, this was probably the most expensive meal of our trip. The one pound of steamed crab legs was $65 market price, and the lobster roll was $37 market price, so Peacemaker definitely isn't the cheapest place we've eaten. That said, considering the quality of the seafood and how much we enjoyed everything, it was absolutely worth the splurge. From the crab legs to the lobster roll to the bisque and mac and cheese, everything we tried was delicious. Combine that with the atmosphere, great service, and being able to walk right in, and this was easily one of our favorite meals in St. Louis. I'm actually hoping I can convince some of my coworkers from my training class to go back with me before I leave Missouri. I think that probably says everything you need to know about how much I enjoyed it.

The gator po'boy was good, though on the dryer side. I would have loved more of the sauce on mine. The chips were perfectly crispy crunchy! My partner got the lobster roll and scarfed it down in a few bites. A bit on the pricier side since it's based on the market value, but still delicious. As I stated a couple times to our server. I communicated I have trouble hearing in areas like this and he just kept talking louder. Anyway we finally got our food ordered and went for a salad in the next room. My wife even commented on the empty tables and asked my why I thought they put us in that big room. Idk? So we get our salad and it was good. Kretzers had a decent salad bar. One of the reasons we like the place. I ordered a 12oz ribeye rare with a baked potato. Wife got chicken strips with gravy and mashed potatoes and gravy. When the food arrived everything looked good and the server said some things that I have no idea what. Even the wife didn't know. I go to open the butter for my pita and it's not butter. It's an oil whip. I do not eat fake butter. It's harmful. To find out they have no butter in the place. So I tell my server of the situation and looks at me like he has no idea what to do. Turns and walks away. So I eat my steak and stare at the baked potato. I am a recent cancer survivor and have no ability to make saliva. So I needed the butter to make the potato edible. Or even gravy or something. I told the server but I don't think he heard me correctly or didn't know what to do. It was so loud with the stupid fans. So while I do recommend Kretzers and like their steaks and crab legs and salad bar. I don't recommend their new addition to dine in. And if you want real butter bring your own. I was a little disappointed with our experience this time around.

A great variety of classics and unique dishes, but I was specifically there for the Steak. We started with undoubtedly THE BEST Tosted Ravioli in St. Louis(or anywhere I've ever been!) I then chose the 20(+ according to the waiter) oz Bone-In Ribeye, very rare, with Gorgonzola cheese crumbles on top & a side of Au Jus(Steak Drippings). With the Creamy Mushroom Rizzoto topped with Parmesan & a Ceaser Salad with Parmesan and fresh cracked pepper. I am NOT exaggerating when I tell you... IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST STEAK DINNER I'VE EVER HAD, by far!!!! And I've been to Gallagher's in NYC!! It's a average Upscale Steakhouse price. Expect to pay $, but the experience was WAY above "Average" and worth every penny!!

It was valentine's weekend and the bartender was busy making all sorts of lovely looking cocktails. Ambience in the bar area was very pretty. Food was great in to go format as well. For a steakhouse, the food we got and the price we paid was extremely reasonable. We will be back in a couple weeks to try something else on the menu.
