TL:DR - OK acai bowls. More on the soupy side and not so much toppings. After an exhausting hike Lanikai Juice was our refreshing choice, unfortunately it just barely satisfied our cravings. I ordered the acai superfood while my girlfriend ordered the matcha protein bowl. I might be spoiled by eating acai bowls from Roots And Rye in Cali, but I feel like Lanikai's acai bowl is too soft. We had to wait about 10 minutes to receive our acai bowl and when we did, it was already partially melted. I feel like if I'm going to eat an acai it should be firm, or at the very least soft serve texture. The toppings were pretty minimal too and were just enough to be considered an acai bowl. There isn't really too much to say because we did know that this is a franchise and the quality isn't always up to snuff. Overall, if you need something cold and semi-healthy to drink then Lanikai juice is where you should go. If you're looking for an OK acai bowl, it's also a reasonable choice. read more

I am so stoked for another location! I usually go to the Kahala location when I check my mailbox. We just so happened to come on one of their soft opening days! Scored 20% off and some great smoothies! My favorite is the Kailua Monkey (with chocolate whey) and Dr. Green for the kids. My kids think smoothies should be green . Stood there for 5 minutes, no greeting nothing. Then Andrew, who's name tag said supervisor, is clearly irritated that there are customers. As I'm ordering with another lady, he interrupts "HOW MANY ROLLS!?!" & proceeds to SLAM EVERY SINGLE THING IN THIS PLACE - were talking knives, blender covers, fridges, aprons... everything he touched, he slammed. While making the croissants, more people entered & he mouthed "F$&;@@ AWESOME!" Throughout my entire 20 minute (yes, still a bit slow) wait, he slammed at least 30 things and was not personable at all. I left the store forgetting to grab my banana bread. 2 days later I went through my receipts and realized I forgot my banana bread so I called and they were very accommodating and checked on it for me. They called me back that day to tell me I can come in for the banana bread. I didn't know she meant, I needed to grab that VERY day because they normally have out banana bread to begin with. I came today Jan 26 to purchase a drink and pick up my banana bread. When I asked the Manager Laylie M. If I could pick up my banana bread...she responded "Your banana bread expired already".
